Motorola Droid :: Fast Auto Redialing Program For Phone?
Mar 23, 2010I need to "Call in" to work and sometimes it can take up to 30 mins of redialing. Is there a fast auto redialing program out there for the droid?

Aug 31, 2010I had been using IMEasy for its multiple-account capability, I found my phone running warm when multiple accounts were connected though, and the battery drained fast; down to 70% in 3 hours in a poor signal area. I thought it was the poor signal. Installed Trillian yesterday, it's connected to 3 IM accounts and after 5 hours I'm only down to 90%, in the same area. I've been a happy Trillian user on the PC, I already had an Astra account from that so setup was SIMPLE. I HIGHLY suggest this app, though it's still in Beta and it IS missing a couple options I would like they're not critical issues to me, and I'm sure they'll fix them.

I know this sounds like an ad but I'm just a happy customer.
The 2 missing items (maybe one really) are the ability to set the notification tone in the app and the ability to change the notification LED color in the app.

Aug 24, 2010I need to create a similar function to Toast.makeText() but more fast to disappear. I have seen such messagebox in the software "Le monde fr" when you select a button from the toolbar down. Its appear and disappear very fast if you move to another icon. I m looking to do the same functionnality but cannot figure out how to do that.Message box should not be modal, what i want is kind of a fast tooltip. The tooltip should appear and disappear fast.

Motorola Droid :: Auto Forward Phone When In Multimedia Dock
Feb 3, 2010Here's another one in my quest for customization using the multimedia dock. Unfortunately, I have sub-par VZ service in many parts of my house. I'm considering the Wireless Extender ($249 - ouch), but until I make that call, I've been manually forwarding my cell phone to my home phone line.
Question: would there be a way to set up a script or functionality that would tell the Droid to forward to home when in dock and un-forward when taken out of the dock. Might be kinda cool. I think one of the mobile companies used to sell a dock that did just this in the early 2000s.

Jun 26, 2010Cannot figure out how to STOP Droid from redialing a BUNCH of times my last call made -- when I have the VErizon bluetooth hooked up.
Frustrating & embarrassing!
Suspected bluetooth getting "pressed" when stuffed in my purse - bur can't replicate (make it happen on purpose.)
Have tried changing settings - no luck.
Something about putting Droid & bluetooth in purse makes 6 redials +++ happen.

Nov 25, 2010I just bought my Droid X a couple of weeks ago (2.2 and Rooted). It wanted to do some auto app updates and I told it to do them all not sure if it was before or after that that I noticed a red light by the ear "piece/speaker" and the phone was on and a battery level warning came on which I thought was premature. I plugged in the power cord the light went to green and I looked over a few minutes later and it was dead. I could be a little off on what happened when but that's what happened.
It wont power on now and I've tried holding a few different buttons while powering on and still nothing. I did check the settings the other day and it was successfully backing itself up not sure how to use that backup though. I just looked over after typing this post and the Motorola "M" was on the screen but I couldn't get it to do anything so I pulled the battery and tried again to boot it and nothing.

May 21, 2010I have an issue with Google Talk auto logging in after open the program. I went into settings and unchecked auto login. It's logged in to an email address I don't want to use. Is there a way for me to switch it to another one or be able to choose between the two of them? Is the auto login a glitch? By the way it's on my HTC Incredible.

Aug 11, 2010Does anyone else's battery go from 100% to 90% really fast? Mine does even after the update a couple weeks ago. I didn't know if it was just my phone. I charge it fully then after a few text messages it's on 90%. GPS is disabled, battery saver mode enabled, brightness 20%, social apps sync over WiFi only and that is never turned on.

Sep 26, 2010So one of the cool things about Froyo is being able to check off Enable Automatic Update for market apps. So i have that checked off for like 80+% of my 80+ apps (that took a while to do let me tell you). Now i have had three apps have updates available since i checked off the box, yet they never actually automatically updated. I waited, hours, still never updated. Is there a setting i need to modify? Do i need to tell it what time of day to do it? Anyone else noticing this? I only really want it in apps that i don't care about reading the new features. But it is annoying that i have it enabled and it does nothing.

When I'm typing really fast and drag my fingers to type "saw" for example with just my left thumb I'll catch the bottom left of the W key while the A is pressed down and it'll lift up and make a popping noise. Jul 21, 2010Night before last, I charged the battery to 100% before I went to sleep. When I was going to sleep, I unplugged it. When I woke up 7 hours later, it had only dropped 30% to 70%. I did the software upgrade, and the battery jumped back up to 80% and lasted a Long time. Well, last night, I did the same thing, and when I woke up, my battery had dropped to 50%. The phone was supposedly sleeping this whole time! A few minutes on the browser to look up the issue brought me down to 40%.
All I installed yesterday was YellowPages, WhitePages, Flikie (then uninstalled it) and LauncherPro (could this be the culprit?). Before I went to bed though, I opened GMail, and it was having trouble connecting to the server and finally gave me a "retry" button because it couldn't connect. I never pressed it and just went to sleep. WiFi, GPS, everything was off, and the screen was set to lowest brightness (which doesn't even matter here.) Why it dropped so much?

Nov 21, 2009I think I figured out why sometimes my Droid stays on for 1.5 days and sometimes after 6 hour of just being idle the battery is drained.
When wifi is turned on an connected to a network, the cellular signal is way low and it just drains the battery.
