I have been recently having an issue with my screen when I am scrolling with one finger (no other fingers near the screen) it seems to auto magnify the website or auto scroll from left to right or up and down.
I have done a factory reset several times, cleaned the screen with cloth and have take great care of this phone and yet it still pops up.

So one of the cool things about Froyo is being able to check off Enable Automatic Update for market apps. So i have that checked off for like 80+% of my 80+ apps (that took a while to do let me tell you). Now i have had three apps have updates available since i checked off the box, yet they never actually automatically updated. I waited, hours, still never updated. Is there a setting i need to modify? Do i need to tell it what time of day to do it? Anyone else noticing this? I only really want it in apps that i don't care about reading the new features. But it is annoying that i have it enabled and it does nothing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I first got my X it allowed me to manually choose to connect to wifi but lately it just auto connects and I cant turn it off if im in a wifi area. This puts a huge drain on my battery. I'd prefer to have the OPTION to connect to wifi if/when i want to and to use the 3G network otherwise. Any idea how I can address this issue? (I did recently install Launcher Pro. Not sure if that has anything to do w/ it but figured id mention it)

And yes, I know that the applications need to be updated because it says update in the Downloads section of the market and it's not an Update-Manual Only.
View 10 Replies View RelatedIve noticed that when im not using the gps, (ie: no apps requesting it) the icon goes away. Does it turn off the GPS or put it into a power save mode? I thought in 2.1 as long as the gps was enabled, the icon was on.

This always left my apps (handcent, gmail, etc) free to rotate within the app or popup now I only get one or the other if auto rotate is on, apps are stuck in landscape, and vice versa Ive deleted LP and started over, gone into recovery and wiped cache, battery pull running out of ideas?

It started a couple of days ago, I since installed the Froyo 2.2 update and also downloaded the Gmail update in the Marketplace. View 2 Replies View RelatedSince rooting & installing Bugless Beast, my on screen keyboard no longer defaults to upper case when I select a text field. It used to automatically show the upper case layout when I'd select say, the text message compose field, and then drop to lower case after the first letter. Now I have to manually capitalize the first letter. I've checked to make sure that auto capitalize is enabled in system settings. Anybody else have this problem and find a way to fix it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince the 2.2 update my screen auto rotation is horrible. When I want it upright, it goes sideways. WHen I hold the phone sideways, it flips the other way. Apps that I open seem to always start out sideways even when the phone is upright. I turn it around, nothing happens. If it does rotate back, it is so delayed you think it is not working. It never seems to be the direction I want it, getting very frustrating and annoying to keep flipping the damn phone around all the time to try to get it right. I sure hope the new FRG22 update, if it ever comes, can fix this problem. So far, 2.2, besides flash, has been a big disappointment for me.
View 27 Replies View RelatedI of course have froyo in my X. However since froyo updated I have been hoping that my apps would update, they are not. I have checkmarked the allow auto update box, even updated some of them manually once afterwords. I have taken the market off my task killer list. I only check it about twice a day, and everytime I have an update (not a manual update but a yellow font update)..nothing happens, I can let it sit on the market downloads screen or sleep my phone or do whatever and it just does not update my apps..does anyone have any ideas as too why this is? Perhaps something is off or being killed by my task killer? I have the two arrows on in the power management android widget (found this out by my gmail not snycing and receiving automatically). Any help is appreciated as I am at a loss as too why this isn't working..my friends droid updates her apps about twice a day.

Also when I get a call the bluetooth button on the bottom left won't turn bluetooth on. I guess it just tells you if its connected but it really should turn it on and connect.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone will get notification rather quickly but when i put the phone down to go to bed and when i wake up there will be no emails no fb notifications but when i start to touch it again i get all the notifications from the time i went to bed till i woke up. is there a setting somewhere that makes the phone go into hyper idle or something? maybe coz they phone is stationary for so long? id gate to think i was at work and had my phone on my desk i wouldn't get any messages all day unless im touching my phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSince 2.2, I don't do the auto brightness cause its always to dark from my taste so I shut that off and set it around "o" in automatic for the setting. Almost every time I re-wake the phone up its at full damn brightness and when I go into the settings it is still at my setting if I touch it it quickly dims to where it is suppose to be. Also I can get there by hitting the power button and re-waking it a couple times. Is anyone else having the issue and how do u resolve it. I have done a cache clear and factory reset then I also did is all again "Fabrian" way.
