Worked perfect in my car every day until I installed the update, now it connects and doesn't send any audio to the car... just keeps playing through the phone speaker. Wtf happened?

I was complaining that the only way to listen to a message no matter how you set it was via the speakerphone speaker. Well looky here... Guess google isn't as open as we'd thought.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI received notification this morning that my phone was ready for an update! Unfortunately after the update rebooted the phone it stopped at the Moto symbol and would not go any further. Called verizon and walked throught he normal battery pull and factory reset to no avail. The only answer they had was to send me a replacement phone which will be here to tomorrow. Bummer it broke but good customer service softened the issue.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a kenwood dnx6140 headunit that has a handful of features(bluetooth, navigation, yada yada....I have a handsfree voice system aswell which i use regularly with my droid which runs on bluetooth with no problems.....Heres the good stuff...When i try to play pandora or slacker via bluetooth it works but its very bumpy or skippy so i cant clearly hear the music....I dnt know why.?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 2010 Mazda 3 w/ Bluetooth and an auxillary output--I have had no problems w/ the Bluetooth as far as receiving and making phone calls and I play my iPod thru the auxillary system all the time...I just got the Droid 2 weeks ago and downloaded Pandora this past weekend--I can't get it to play thru the Bluetooth (even though the little music symbol shows that it is paired) and I can't play it thru my Droid hooked up thru the auxillary system either.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am currently having some problems controlling the audio on my phone via bluetooth in my car.
When I press the button for the next track on Pandora, that would automatically activate the Android Music Player and play whatever I have stored on the SD card. Ultimately, what I have is 2 sources of music playing at the same time.
Only way to fix it is to get rid of the SD card. OR I can switch tracks using the phone itself.
I realize that this problem isn't limited to the Droid X. I've read about this happening on the Incredible as well.
Anyone know whether a patch (or Froyo can fix this)?
Is there any way to use my old phone as a Bluetooth speaker?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a car stereo with bluetooth.I don't want to start a debate about sound quality of the music through Bluetooth.What I would like to know is if anyone has figured out how to get the music to go through the bluetooth speaker WHILE having the navigation go through the phone speaker.For me that is the optimal situation and would hopefully not have the Navigation interrupt the music instead allow them to both be going on at once.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a samsung galaxy s2 on AT&T running android 4.0.4. I have the bluetooth set up to play audio through my car stereo.
Everything was working fine until a couple of days ago when I accidentally booted my phone into safe mode. I re-booted it back into normal mode, but a lot of my settings got messed up after that happened.
The odd thing is that now, when I am in my car, the phone connects to the stereo over bluetooth - I see the name of the song, artist, etc information on the car stereo, and can do things like skip to the next song using the controls in the car. However, the sound actually plays through the phone speaker instead of the car speakers!
I have written a video player app. Its working fine, but the problem is the screen is going to in sleep mode after playing some time. When I click on "Menu" button on the device, then only it wakes up.
How can I solve this?
I have an HTC Incredible, and when it is connected to my Panasonic TH1211B home phone via bluetooth, the speaker phone is disabled. The ear speaker works fine, but the speaker phone shuts down until I un-pair the bluetooth link.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOK this is weird, I haven't really taken much pics with my Droid X until recently. First time I had the phone, the camera button worked great, took a few pics here and there just to test it out. Have not used it since then, until recently. It was working fine after taking a few shots but from some reason, it won't take any pics now. Also pressing the camera button does not open the camera app at all now (it used to before).I know it's two stages, autofocus then press all the way down to take the pic, but it aint working. I slowly press it for autofocus, nothing happens. I then completely press it down, still nothing. Sometimes it does look like it focuses really quick then the LED light flashes for a moment but camera does not take the pic (no click or anything). And now it hardly even does that anymore. I tried a camera app that has the buttons on screen and that works taking pics so I'm guessing its my camera button... Anyone had this issue?This really sucks, I'm going to have to take this to VZ store near my house, if anything would they replace it with a new phone or a refurb?

View 2 Replies View RelatedFirst one broke 2 weeks ago I don't know what from but I've never dropped the phone with the case on and next thing I know I took it out of my pocket and the face plate was broken in the top right corner.This evening as I was walking home with my phone and case on it that I just got replaced about 5 days ago I dropped my phone screen down first, I thought it was done. Luckily it was safe though again the face plate is broken on my case.
I'm getting yet another replacement from Otterbox which is good..Really wish I could get a refund or voucher to use on their site for the cost of the case.
People cannot hear me on speaker phone. I'm not sure if it's because I SBF'ed back to stock, which may be different than when I first got the phone? Other than that, my phone is perfect. I would hate to have to go through a refurb. I was wondering if it was possibly a software issue.

Anyway, I have noticed that sometimes the audio from a call comes through the earpiece very low volume. Also when using the speakerphone feature (because it's hard to hear through the earpiece) I found that the caller on the other line can't hear me unless I yell into the phone! For a phone with 3 mics I'm not happy with these issues.

My wife has been having some problems where she would hold the phone to her ear with her shoulder and she will accidentally mute her call, or some times put the call on speaker phone. View 4 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a Droid2 and when she uses the speaker phone function, things sound fine on her end, but for the caller on the other end, there is an unbearably loud noise of them speaking. For instance, when I call her and she has me on speaker, I can hear myself speaking super loud coming out of her phone. I can't even concentrate to get my sentence out. Has anyone else had this problem or heard of it? She is using a hard snap on case from Verizon as well, not sure if it could be the sound bouncing of that or something?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo heres a random problem that started happening recently I used to be able to reboot my phone and it would work fine again, now I'm SOL. So my mic doesn't work when I make/recieve calls unless I turn on speakerphone. No one can hear me unless its in speaker mode. If I do a voice search, voice record, etc, nothing happens. The only way I can talk on my phone is if I'm on speaker phone. I've rebooted, tried inserting headphones into the headset jack and removing, etc. I guess my final step is to factory reset and see if that fixes it. Are there any known solutions? I did NOT change any configuration. Oh, and I should throw out there, that once in a blue moon it DOES work on regular phone. This is totally random.

Specifically, I'd like to detect if an alarm clock is going off (not only the one that comes with the system, but any alarm clock), but I'll settle for simply knowing if any sounds are coming out of the speaker.
