People cannot hear me on speaker phone. I'm not sure if it's because I SBF'ed back to stock, which may be different than when I first got the phone? Other than that, my phone is perfect. I would hate to have to go through a refurb. I was wondering if it was possibly a software issue.

My friend is having a problem with her droid. When she is on the phone talking it is constantly, muting her voice or something cuz no1 can hear her. she just got the phone less than a week ago. I read online and found a bunch of stuff about the proximity sensor and the software issues, however those were all dated last year around winter time. So I am trying to see if there is a current fix for it. I see on the forums people have some problems with hardware on their incredibles but I didn't see a thread for the droid. Basically she can hear people talking but no1 can hear her and it happens like every other phone call.

I then actually called myself with another phone and realized that I can't hear myself at all when I set the phone to speaker mode! When I turn off speakerphone and talk into the mic the voice is loud and clear, but the moment I turn it on boom the other end hears nothing.

They are calling me and it's happened when I have called them.I'm calling from my phone (no bluetooth or speaker).When it's happened I've called back and it's cleared the issue, a couple of times it hasn't. View 12 Replies View RelatedI've been using your JB builds on my Motorola Atrix mb 860. When ever I call or a call comes, I can't hear anything unless I'm on speakerphone or I plug in Bluetooth headphones. I even replaced ear speaker flex cable. But still I am unable to hear anything.
I already did the factory reset, wiped cache/system and data and also tried different JB flavors for atrix and also stable CM 7.2 on the sdcard.
I have a serious problem when making calls without a headset, with the phone in my hand. People I call are telling me that they hear a phone number being dialed loudly while I speak to them, as if I am making a call while speaking to them. Today it happened and the person said she had to shout to be heard over this loud noise-which I cant hear!! I must be touching some button or application with my hand or face, but what?

After soft resets, BT on, BT off. Still can't hear it via speaker or earpiece. Anyone else seeing this. Next step is a hard reset which I don't feel like doing but might be my only option at this point.

This started happening when I upgraded to Froyo. I wiped the phone but that didn't seem to help. Is there anything else I can do? Is there a mic volume I'm missing?

I love my Droid the only problem I have so far is I wish I had a "phone only" mode like on Blackberry. There are times where I like having all the sounds muted, but still want to have the phone ringtone on so that way I can hear the phone. I haven't found a way to do this yet, does anyone know how to?

Anyway, I have noticed that sometimes the audio from a call comes through the earpiece very low volume. Also when using the speakerphone feature (because it's hard to hear through the earpiece) I found that the caller on the other line can't hear me unless I yell into the phone! For a phone with 3 mics I'm not happy with these issues.
