About two days ago, my speaker phone stopped working properly.I can hear peole, but people can't hear me when in speaker mode on phone calls.Anyone else having this problem?

Got some weird problem:
The ear speaker in my Evo stopped working, presumably after 2.2 upgrade. I cannot hear anything during phone call or when I listen to voice mail. When I turn on speaker or insert headphones - I hear fine.
I got this problem with one Evo and thought it was a hardware problem. Sprint exchanged it. Got the new Evo, upgraded to 2.2 and now the same issue. I did checked the ear speaker before upgrade and it was working.
Hard reset did not help. I checked all the settings I could.
I found on another forum that someone had similar issue. Anyone else? Any suggestions?
The ear speaker was working fine just before I updated using the .zip... any ideas?
View 9 Replies View RelatedThese little bugs are starting to get annoying. This morning no sound on phone. Restart the unit and all is fine. If people had to restart and pull the battery as much on a BB Storm, they'd be complaining like crazy. Actually I rarely had to pull the battery on my Storm. Of course the Storm sat for a long time trying to load a website, but it did.
This thing is starting to bug me. It's official now. Open media and Camera Roll doesn't show it's icon half the time. Start it up and everything on SD card takes a while to show an icon. Go to Market and every other time nothing loads. This little stuff is adding up. Feel free to add your little bugs.
No sound from the speaker, just randomly happened. Rebooting doesn't work. I have not rooted the phone.

im having a problem with my samsung galaxy s advance. Few weeks ago i spilled some pepsi over my phone. I dried it and everything was working fine. 3 days ago, my speaker stopped working. I reflashed my firmware and it worked for about 5 seconds and then it made cracking sound and would not work. I noticed that, if i suck air from the speaker with my mouth(sometimes i can just put my mouth over it) it would work for 5-30 seconds. But as soon as i remove my mouth it stops working.
View 12 Replies View Relatedi got a brand new S3 In december 2013 , i dropped it an it broke ( both touch and LCD ) I got them replaced by a authorized service . It worked fine 2 months , Two days ago some problem appeared, Touch screen stopped working propperly , it worked only for short periods of time. Now if i press really hard on the right hand corner (Above the return arrow) it works Perfectly ( as long as i keep my finger there) but sometimes it works fine after reboot but in the end it stops (No signs of cracks or damage) , i had CM11. What i've done until now :
-Deleted CM11 and added 4.1.2
-Took it appart and checked the ribbon ( fine)
-Hard reset
- Dummy file generator
Everything works on it buttons ,Before the freezing screen flashes a bit .
Up until last week, I was using my original samsung earphones and some Philips earphones in my phone to listen to music without a problem in nearly 18 months.
Then I bought some Adidas Sennheiser earphones and plugged them in and now I can't hear the vocals and the music sounds tinny. I then put my samsung ones back in and same problem, even though they were working perfectly fine up until last week. Now any headphones I put in are not working properly but they work in other peoples phones and in my pc. I don't want to have to get a new phone. There must be a reason why they worked one day then as soon as put in the Adidas ones something changed. I have checked all the settings on the phone, have looked at heaps of blogs on the net and here, tried the WD40 on a cotton tip, tried cleaning out the headphone jack, tried pushing the headphones in all the way, tried turning off, taking out battery, turning off and on while headphones were in.
Have a D1 running stock. Was working fine, then the strange happened. The left side of the phone stopped working. None of the icons on the screen or the back arrow. Everything else seems to be working. If I set it to the phone log the phone will begin to make calls on its own. So do I go for a new one or is there a fix for this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt seems as though my droid x has a hard time with the wi-fi connection. I turn it on and the wi-fi signal comes up but i am getting horrible speeds. my ping is anywhere from 300 to 900 (Horrible) and then my download speed is 1400kbps or so. and the upload is around 1500 kbps or so. I have tried atleast a dozen tests. The speeds almost seem like 3g speeds. is it becuase the 3g isnt being turned off when the wifi is on and that is what i really am testing? please any advice would be great, i really like this phone but if my internet connection is going to be like this I don't think i can handle it.
View 18 Replies View RelatedI had to call in to the automated system and enter my jury ID number and pin. The ID number is 9 digits and the pin is 4 digits. When punching these numbers in using the stock dialer, the system I was calling kept messing up. It didn't prompt me like it should, and when it read my entries back to me, they were wrong. The system would report that I'd entered 88 when I'd entered 80 or something. I tried this 3 or so times before I started to think my phone was the problem. I called back with another phone and it worked fine (it was some old Motorola phone but I've actually interacted with this system using my iPhone 3G in the past just fine). I called the system back with my X and, this time, punched in the numbers slowly (half a second or so between key presses). This time, everything went swimmingly. I haven't replicated this on other automated systems, but it's clear at least one of them has a problem with the X's stock dialer when it's used quickly. Anyone have a similar problem?

The correct answer is .80. This may seem like a minor point (.000001 error) but the answer is still wrong! Basic arithmetic operations should be a no brainer.A Verizon service rep confirmed this error on the Droid and Eris phones he had in their call center.
Using the stock Messenging app with the universal inbox. I have a couple of IMAP accounts setup and push turned on. Something odd happens to the Messenging app that prevents it from getting mail. It will hang quite often to the point where no mail is received at all until it gets unstuck (sometimes up to a half hour). If I go into the email account, it shows the spinning arrows as if it is trying to sync, but it just spins.
At first, I tried all the usual troubleshooting. I removed and re-added the e-mail accounts. I turned push off and on. I rebooted. I tried just about everything I could think of, but this has been going on since I got the Droid X. I made sure it was set to sync even when wifi is off. I'm not sure what is causing it to hang, but I removed and added each account and it's still happening. Eventually, I'll get the emails but sometimes it takes a half hour or more before it frees itself up. I can't even use a Task killer to kill the messenger app because when I open it back up, the arrows are still spinning.
I've recently rooted my droid and installed Bugless Beast 0.9 and Chevy1 OC'ing on it. Ever since then my browser will just decide to close and it takes me back to the home screen. I don't get a forced closed message it just takes me back to the home screen. I'm new to this rooting business so I'm not sure if there is something I am overlooking or what. I followed the instructions completed and wiped the phone before doing any of this.

When I click on send, search, or login nothing happens. It's frustrating when you're on the road and need to find something. I'm using the stock browser. View 3 Replies View RelatedI listen to music or podcasts all day long at work. When I get a call, I pull out the headphones and answer the call. From time to time, I will not get any audio through the phones normal speaker. It will work if I plug back in the headphones or if I go to speaker phone. The only way I have found that will clear up this issue, is to pull the battery and reboot. It is like my phone is getting stuck into thinking the headphones are still in.

However, it only vibrates when I get a text message. Also, the sounds only happens at random times, when I have NO notifications. It really bothers me. I want my Droid to give off the notification ringtone only when I have notifications, not when I don't have them.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis weekend, returning from a roadtrip, I fired up my Navigation and got only the "Searching for GPS" notification in perpetuity. Network location was working. Chalking it up to cloudy skies and just general Murphy's Law, I carried on without thinking much of it. After about an hour on the road, the skies had cleared and I tried again...same thing. My brother was in the car who also has a droid. He tried his and GPS located and worked just fine.
Yes, my GPS is on. I've turned it on and off several times, went into and out of airplane mode, of course rebooted. Did a battery pull today. Still not working. Uninstalled most recent updates on the Maps app, didn't work. Reinstalled the updates...well, why would that make it work.
The GPS "broadcasting satellite" icon comes up in my status bar when attempting to locate...just never succeeds. It seems to be not working for any App that requires GPS (i.e., not just Maps or Navigation)
Several weeks ago I was using the default mail client and my (free) Yahoo account just randomly disappeared one day. I decided to download K-9 mail and give it a try. Setup was easy and it worked like a charm. No deleted emails coming back, no multiple messages in my sent folder, everything just worked.
That was until a couple days ago. I noticed that I hadn't been getting any email notifications on my Droid through K-9. I opened the app and the last email showing up was from 2/6/2010. I did the refresh and nothing happened. I held down the power button and choose "Power Off". I turned it back on. I went to K-9 did a refresh, it said it was checking my Yahoo account but it didn't retreive any new emails.
When I log onto Yahoo online I have new emails (both read and unread) but none of them are being retrieved by K-9. What is going on?
so, today all my vibrations stopped working. no haptic feedback. i checked all my settings, no problem there. phone not on silent. tried a restart, no good. so then, i shook the crap out of my phone and holy crap, that worked. all my vibrations are working again. does that mean there's a problem with the vibrator hardware?

However, some time this past week - or longer - the voice mail notification has stopped working. No blinky light, no icon, nothing. I have tested using the regular Home and the Open Home - same results. Just a missed call notification. Further troubleshooting steps I have taken was just powering off the phone and powering back on. I have also removed the battery for a couple of minutes and replaced, still the same. I have also cleared out all voicemails and left myself a voicemail, still same thing. Only the missed call notification.

I could just do a complete wipe and reload to see if that resolves my issue - but my question is, the applications I have paid for, will I have to pay for them again? Or does it keep track of what you purchase?
My light has stopped working. The LED isnt dead, cos I DL'd Missed Call from the Market, and it works with that app, but not when I get a text, tweet or FB invite/msg/event. It flashed green for: tweets and texts and Blue for FB notifications.

View 10 Replies View RelatedMy Droid wall charger stopped fully working this morning, and Im not sure why. It may be either that the charger is broken or the port is. When I charged the phone this afternoon on my car charger, it worked fine, but I did notice once that the input piece for the car charger is slightly wider than the wall charger, and the wall charger has seemed to fit loosely in. I cant tell if anything is actually wrong with the silver input piece on the wall charger. Should I buy a new wall charger or take the phone to Verizon to get the the port possibly fixed if that is the issue? Can they even fix the port?
