General :: Tablet Doesn't Turn On / Black Screen / No Sound
Apr 22, 2014I bought a bricked Bruneau tablet and wanted to stock flash it. But the "script" named folder that i put it on the sdcard was for other kind of wonder media processor. I have a WM8505+ procesor and the software was for WM8605. Now the tablet does not turn on, black screen, no sound nothing. I saw on other forums and youtube that i can shortcircuit 2 pins from a Samsung chip on tablet motherboard but it`s not working.

Apr 25, 2010In my android application I have the following As far as I am aware, I have followed the steps in the documentation to set it to play a sound from the resources folder, and to flash the lights. However, neither of these happen. It does, however, vibrate, as instructed. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here? I've looked through the permissions that I can give the app in the AndroidManifest.xml file, but I can't see one for letting it flash the light or make sounds. Code...

Jul 17, 2010So there's this problem with my Desire, I can call and receive calls and everything. But once I'm in a call, the standby button will not turn the screen on, and no matter how many times I button mash all the soft keys, I get no response. However if my phone is feeling good, it'll show me the screen for a split second before hiding it again! This is a huge problem, I have no idea what the problem could be, as the standby button works fine when not in a call.. Anyone know what would be the reason? (Keep in mind, my HTC is literally a day old in my hands).

May 1, 2010I just got the HTC Incredible and one of the things I haven't been able to figure out is how to set incoming phone calls to vibrate, yet play the notification sound. None of the profiles seems to make that combination happen. If I switch it to silent, no sound or vibrations happen for calls or notifications. In the vibrate profile, both calls and notifications only vibrate. In normal mode, I can't get calls to vibrate only. If I slide the call ringer volume all the way down and slide notification volume up, it switches it to silent mode. If I have call ringer volume up one notch from silent, it still plays the ringtone. Is this something I can accomplish or do I have to have silent calls only if I still want notifications played?

The software is all up to date, ive reset the alert tone in the notification settings, and im afraid thats all my knowledge used up. Ringtone sound is fine and it also vibrates for that.

Aug 17, 2010last night I got tired of waiting for the 2.2 update so I installed unrevoked forever, 2.15 radio and the third wave rom from adrenyline. After all that went smoothly I decided to throw the standard clock undervolt hydra kernel in there too. After I did that I got sporadic reboots and the screen became very unresponsive. Also it seems to cause the phone to freeze whenever it has to wake up to play a notification sound or alarm...
Now I have to say that I had the same problem about a month ago when I tried one of the older Hydra Kernels, but I figured it would be fixed with the newer ones. My question is it seems that I am the only one with problems, all the posts I read about these things are positive with little or no issues. Am I installing it incorrectly somehow? Is anyone else having issues too?
