I just copied all my music folders onto a SD card and those folders contained album art which does show up when i play music on my G1.
Unfortunately all the album art also shows up under "pictures". Is there anyway to tell the G1 to stop looking for pictures in my music folder?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had a bunch of non-DRM music that I tranfered from my mac iTunes account over to my EVO's memory card. The files play fine, but none of them show the album art anymore (it is just a blank CD image with a little android up top). All of the data should be there as it plays just fine in iTunes and didn't have issues on the iPhone. Is there any way I can get the album art back?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently downloaded MixZing and noticed that the art for the albums I copied from my laptop does not show up. However, the art for the files I downloaded through the phone, does show up. Also, all the album art does show up with the native music app - downloaded and copied. The album art for the copied files resides as jpg's in the same directory as the songs. I'm wondering if I need to copy them elsewhere. One other thing, unrelated, how do you stop a song? I can pause a song that's playing but can not find a way to just stop it altogether. This is a problem for native app and MixZing.

I had this memory card previously in my Droid eris and did not have this issue. Ive tried formating the sd card twice and resyncing the songs twice using 2 different programs double twist and media monkey still the same outcome. The songs are in itunes format.

I copied everything from my old SD card to the new one. Also, the new SD card have a different name from the old one. Old is labeled as 'Removable Disk' while new one is 'Kingston'. Also, album thumbs folder becomes empty (before it contains files from old album thumbs folder).

View 11 Replies View RelatedAfter the 2.1 OTA a lot of random photos were thrown in my photo album under separate files, I think one is named something like keyboard...and another one called icons maybe. They are just screen shots of the swype keyboard. I tried to delete them after I dl'd the Nexus Gallery (which is awesome btw thank you Androzoid) but they just came back. Has anyone else had this happen? I haven't tried to delete them yet straight from the SD card to see if that works. Is it okay to delete these or do they serve some purpose?

I have tried putting a file named album.jpg, cover.jpg and folder.jpg in the albums folder. I have tried putting a jpg in the albumthumbs folder with the amazon productid and with.the album name. I also cannot find any menus or long presses to set it. The downloadable users guide doesn't say how, and google searches have turned up nothing.

Even on my downloaded albums, Windows is able to pull the track number for each MP3 file out of the file. So why does my Droid X (Android 2.1) display and play the tunes in alphabetical order by track title? Some I literally right clicked and went to info to add the artwork, but the majority were found by iTunes using "Get album artwork." I'm looking for someone to suggest a program that I simply click go, and it takes the album artwork I already have, embeds it to the file, and allows it to properly display on my Incredible. I've been using a couple of different methods recently trying to sync music on my desire, nothing has worked properly for me, windows media player, itunes sync, doubletwist and even htc sync 3.0 wont do the job.I was using album artwork grabber then to get missing artwork.So i deleted all my music from my desire and started from scratch and just dragged and dropped all the music files to it.This is working great except loads of my album artwork has been mislabelled with a completly different one. Every song has artwork, there is none with the default green logo which used to be there before I'm certain on these songs. But now they all have this other album cover, it's like it's replaced the default music icon cover.I tried clearing the media application data and it rebuilt the library, but it's still the same.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBasically I downloaded the app ES File Explorer and I cut everything on the internal storage and pasted it in to my SD card. Everything worked perfectly except now I can't view any of my photos in the gallery, it seems as if they all just disappeared! I noticed something during the switch over from the internal to the SD card that a message about DCIM came up. Now apparently that has to do with photos and I just skipped it. I went into my SD card folder after and it only shows the pictures that have been screenshot and those that have been posted on Instagram. None of my pictures that have actually been taken with my camera are in my sd card folder neither in my internal storage.
Does this mean they have been deleted because I pressed skip during the transfer?
The phone I am using is the Motorola Razr I XT890.
