I'm somewhat new to Android. I just bought my first Android phone (the Evo) Saturday, I'm having one bit of trouble. I just recorded some footage of our family reunion for my cousin, and really want to get it off of my phone. So I decide to put it in my computer. However, when I put the video on my desktop, the video has no sound. How do I fix this problem?

so i tried to use the camera for stills and video this weekend. the video looks great, and works fine on my phone, but i have no sound on my computer thru windows media player. I'm sure its just a codec issue, but does anyone know which codec?
photos on the other hand were really bad grainy or blurry depending on which one fast motion was horrible (but i really wasn't expecting much there) way too long a delay between button push and photo capture the kids kept moving during the delay ruining the photos.
Has anyone gotten good results? what settings? i currently have everything to auto/default. sorry i cant load a pic to show u, they are all too big to post here
I took a video using my phone and would like to move it over to my computer where I can watch it. I copied the file over no problem, but the computer doesn't seem to know what to do with it. It tries to play the file with windows media player, but can't - what can I try?

Just made a video with my Motorola xt701. played it on the phone and computer it has no sound. Made another one with me screaming in the phone, still no sound. Do you have to have a mic plugged in to get sound when making a video or is there another issue??

I am trying to develop an android application which will be able to record a video and send it in real time to a remote computer. The computer then will play it live. I have managed to establish a connection between the android and the computer, and to record a video on the android phone. My problem is, how will I be able to send this video to the computer? Does anyone have an idea?

Speakers on my Motorola Cliq aren't great and at full volume the speakers pop because of the bass on some songs. What I want is a way to make playlists for my music from the computer instead of the tedious methods available on the handset. To clarify: by "playlist" I do not mean that I want to set up a specific group of music to sync instead of syncing all my music every time. 1. Go to Settings > Applications and then check the box called Unknown sources.
2. Use the phone�s browser and go to http://www.mecanto.com/ms and select "Android beta version".
3. After software is downloaded, press on the downloaded application and MeCanto will be installed.
4. Start MeCanto and enter your user name & password
You install a small server on your computer (get it from Mecanto site), then direct it to your media folders. It indexes your files (taking a long time if you have .5TB of music, like me). It then starts uploading your files to their server, where only you can access them (read their FAQ for privacy concerns). Before they are uploaded, though, you can stream directly from your computer. It's kind-of a weird system; I wish it would just stream.For me, playback stutters and skips a lot, but I'm wondering if it's just because I have the $10 internet plan (not the $25 smartphone plan, which may be faster). I just took some pictures with my g/f's incredible and I could not find the 100media folder when I try to take pictures from the computer.I mount it on the disk drive, went to DCIM folder, and I only can find .thumnails folder, and Camera folder.When I clicked on Camera folder, it's empty.When I try with my EVO, 100media folder shows with no issues and I can find my pictures with no issues.

The built-in memory card reader on my computer does not recognize the card when I insert it, so I attached it via USB whilst still in the phone. The computer then recognised it until I began transferring items to it. When it just stopped working and even made the phone unresponsive.Have I just bought a dodgy memory card?
