I have a couple mp3 iwould like to use as notification sounds but as you may know they have to be in the correct folder to show up. my problem is my usb cable for the phone is broken and can only be used to charge the phone and not a usb data connection. so i need to somehow move the mp3 to the folder using only the phone.

I have the Droid Incredible and want to add some MP3s to it. Which folder do I drag and drop to from my computer? Can I just make a folder and call it MP3? Also, does the droid know the difference between music and podcast?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI just took some pictures with my g/f's incredible and I could not find the 100media folder when I try to take pictures from the computer.I mount it on the disk drive, went to DCIM folder, and I only can find .thumnails folder, and Camera folder.When I clicked on Camera folder, it's empty.When I try with my EVO, 100media folder shows with no issues and I can find my pictures with no issues.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI use voice recorder to record meetings and when I play music offline, I'm constantly pressing skip to get the stupid thing to play the music again (on shuffle).
lot of voice recordings in say "voice recorder folder" and all my music in the "music" folder but all the music players just pull .mp3 from the whole phone because I'll go from ACDC to, "today we will be discussing in today's meeting."
Making one big playlist of music.mp3 seems like a lousy work around which is all I can think of.
I am looking for the default sound files from the Incredible. Specifically, I am looking to the "doot" sound when you press the volume slider. Does anyone have this sound file? It is not located with the alarms, notification, or ringtones. Also, as an added bonus, I am looking for the notification sound from SportsTap as well.

photos on the other hand were really bad grainy or blurry depending on which one fast motion was horrible (but i really wasn't expecting much there) way too long a delay between button push and photo capture the kids kept moving during the delay ruining the photos.

View 5 Replies View Related1. No sound notification. When I am texting someone back and forth, I have to back out of the thread or I do not get notified that they have responded. If I leave it open, I sit there forever thinking the person didn't respond only to wake up my phone and see that they actually did.... 10 minutes ago. Anyone else have this issue?
2. When I turn my phone on in the morning, I never get notified of new email. I have to open my mail and click refresh. I have tried letting it go thinking it would notify me at the update interval I have set, and that never happened. I went almost 2 hours until I had a new email notification, and that was because I sent something to myself to test it.
Every time I receive a Facebook notification on my Incredible, what I can only describe as a slow song plays for a few seconds. I have no recollection of setting a mp3 for the notification sound and even if I did, the song is played so slowly that it is distorted. Does anyone else have this issue? Can't I just have the default notification sound play when I have a Facebook update? Sorry if I missed a thread somewhere, but I have been searching for quite a while and I am fearful that I am the only one with this problem.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI have two questions being a relatively new Incredible owner (2.5 weeks). I wanted to know the best way to assign my own mp3/wav as a Notification sound. I know how to do it for the ringtones, but I don't see a way to add new notifications.
The other question is if there is a way to assign a different notification sound to emails and texts independently, i.e. a different sound for email than for texts.
I cannot change the voicemail notification sound. I go to messages ->settings scroll down to voicemail notification setting and then change the notification sound. But for some reason when I get a voicemail it plays a sound that I selected as notification sound in Sound & Display setting. The same sound that is used for email notification.

Is there something I need to do phone wise in the settings to tell it to listen to that sound board?

I can't seem to make the notification sound stick.For example: this morning, I unmounted the SD card after syncing with Doubletwist on my PC and got into my car. When I turned on the car, the phone connected via Bluetooth to the stereo. Upon connection, the phone made a notification sound, but that sound had been changed from the default notification sound to one of my MP3s.

I open text, read, respond, then might set the phone down and have no alert that I've received another message. Used to be fine pre-2.2/wipe.

I have tried the volume keys, they don't work. I have tried the power/sleep key, it doesn't work. I have also tried swiping down the notification bar and opening the message from there but it still doesn't silence the sound.
