Does anyone know if it is possible to get the sound to play with the USB connection on a computer? I know I could probably get a head phone jack, but it would be much easier to have one cable. (example, I'd like to play the fm radio through PC speakers)

so i tried to use the camera for stills and video this weekend. the video looks great, and works fine on my phone, but i have no sound on my computer thru windows media player. I'm sure its just a codec issue, but does anyone know which codec?
photos on the other hand were really bad grainy or blurry depending on which one fast motion was horrible (but i really wasn't expecting much there) way too long a delay between button push and photo capture the kids kept moving during the delay ruining the photos.
Has anyone gotten good results? what settings? i currently have everything to auto/default. sorry i cant load a pic to show u, they are all too big to post here
I have a couple mp3 iwould like to use as notification sounds but as you may know they have to be in the correct folder to show up. my problem is my usb cable for the phone is broken and can only be used to charge the phone and not a usb data connection. so i need to somehow move the mp3 to the folder using only the phone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Droid Incredible and record my video in 720p. When I copy the file to my pc Windows Media Player does not play the audio of the .MP4. The video plays fine however. (All playes fine on the phone)
I have a camcorder that also records 720 mp4 files, and it plays audio and video just fine on the same pc.
It is possible that another player might play the file fine such as VLC, but I like Windows Media Player, and prefere not to have 3-4 media players taking up resources on my pc.
I just got the HTC Incredible and one of the things I haven't been able to figure out is how to set incoming phone calls to vibrate, yet play the notification sound. None of the profiles seems to make that combination happen. If I switch it to silent, no sound or vibrations happen for calls or notifications. In the vibrate profile, both calls and notifications only vibrate. In normal mode, I can't get calls to vibrate only. If I slide the call ringer volume all the way down and slide notification volume up, it switches it to silent mode. If I have call ringer volume up one notch from silent, it still plays the ringtone. Is this something I can accomplish or do I have to have silent calls only if I still want notifications played?
View 2 Replies View Relatedlast night I got tired of waiting for the 2.2 update so I installed unrevoked forever, 2.15 radio and the third wave rom from adrenyline. After all that went smoothly I decided to throw the standard clock undervolt hydra kernel in there too. After I did that I got sporadic reboots and the screen became very unresponsive. Also it seems to cause the phone to freeze whenever it has to wake up to play a notification sound or alarm...
Now I have to say that I had the same problem about a month ago when I tried one of the older Hydra Kernels, but I figured it would be fixed with the newer ones. My question is it seems that I am the only one with problems, all the posts I read about these things are positive with little or no issues. Am I installing it incorrectly somehow? Is anyone else having issues too?
In my application, RTSP streams play only sound without video, but if i specify the video path as a local file, it plays the video and audio.
How would i get the RTSP streams to show video?

I thought it would be quite easy to develop a bluetooth application on Android, but it looks like the support is very bad. While pairing works, my Nexus One with Android 2.1 can't connect to the PC. It's the same in Windows and Ubuntu. I used on my Desktop computer, in Windows, Hyperterminal and waited on an incoming bluetooth com-port. I searched already a bit, Maybe this:

I just recorded some footage of our family reunion for my cousin, and really want to get it off of my phone. So I decide to put it in my computer. View 1 Replies View RelatedI was running the JI6 2.2 with cognition beta5.5 and was attempting to update however I needed to swap kernels since the current kernel didn't verify signatures. I was using vmware on a mac and i started it but then continued to use the mac side however the computer disconnected the phone from the windows side and now it is stuck showing an image of a phone next to a computer with a triangle with a ! in it between the two. Pressing all hardware buttons does nothing but black the screen and go back to the same screen. I've taken out the battery, sim, unplugged the cord, everything. Can't get back into download mode to redo the kernal swap. It's definitely connected to a valid, and working, usb port and i am now on windows itself instead of vmware. What do I do?

1. Resetting the phone ( both through settings and service menu. )
2. Re-installing Freedom, opening it and manual closing it, clearing data and uninstaling.
3. Made sure the # is in front of the second IP address in the host file.
4. Uninstalling and re-installing play store through Lucky Patcher
get the play store working again.
I had problems with my play store saying no connection and a did a factory reset to fix it but it disappered, I downloaded one from Aptoide and it says even when connected to working wifi it still says when i sign in no connection my phone is rooted but with stock rom (Vodafone Smart Mini)

If so, then list your car brand and model. How did you do it? Are the songs all MP3? from Itunes? Are the songs in any particular folder on the microSD card?
Me: 2010 Prius NAVI...the car audio can only read 3 songs out of many (all from Itunes). I do have 2 songs from Amazon MP3, but they are not read either. The same 3 songs over and over again. My phone is in "mass storage" mode.
whenever i open Google Play it shows no connection everytime.
i have tried following fixes but still its showing no connection (but i'm browsing and using facebook at the same time)
1. date and time fix (date and time are accurate).
2. cleared google play app cache.
3. deleted my google account then again signed in.
4. uninstalled recent updates.
its still showing no connection
Both of my 3G and wifi connections work on the browser, but don't when connecting the play store. I looked into and and tried a bunch of solutions to fix it. I cleared data for all google apps, tried turning on/off auto sync, restarted router, re-flashed google apps. Every single time the app doesn't even ask to set up an account, when I click it it only says no connection, as if it never reset. It happened even when I flashed gapps again. When I go to my account it says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly" and under my account name it says Sync Error. I'm rooted running the liquidsmooth rom ( which I've been running for about 2 months no problems) and I'm running out of options. I really do not want to have to resort to a total reset, or going back to a backup I had in my recovery because it is super old.
Deleted a file called "hosts" in /etc in root explorer!
Google play store sometime starts showing on connection. And it also becomes alright after a day or two automatically.. I'm rooted. No host file issue, no wrong time issue. I can use Internet. Samsung Galaxy S3. Android 4.3 official firmware and rooted. GT-I9300
