First, I want to save the encoded video stream from the encoder,And then, the encoder recieves the uncompressed video stream from camera. How can my application recieve the compressed stream from the encoder?
Second, I'd like to add the custom composer engine to media framework(opencore), And then I'll use the already-launched device, HTC Hero and Motrola Droid, etc. The custom composer engine will recieve the video stream from the encoder. And, save the stream using the custom file format. Is it possible add the custome engine using the already-lauched device? If it is posselbe, where can I find the references?
I took a video on my Moto Droid, and sent it to my friend on his Eris. He downloaded the file from Gmail and but when goes to play the file, it states that the video is not supported. We have tried converting it to a .mp4 and it will not play either, even with a couple of App's from the Marketplace same result. Yet I thought the droid/Eris both supported .3GP? Works fine on his PC with Quicktime, and the video plays fine on my Droid. Is it because I took it in Hi-Res mode, and the Eris does not support that screen resolution? Or did we screw something up?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I receive video text messages, it gives me the little button to download...I hit download and it opens up the little video box with a play button. Only problem is, once I hit play, it opens up the screen and seems like it's playing, but it's stuck on a screen grab of the first screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI used the video camera on my Eris to record a video, but I can't seem to find the folder that the video is stored in when I connect it to my computer, so I cannot copy it to my computer. I used Astro to try to find it on the phone, but I can't seem to find it that way either.
The file is too large to send via email, and I cannot use bluetooth transfer. I would like to get the video off of my phone, and onto my computer. Any suggestions?
Is there a media player that will allow you to view video clips from the Iphone on the Eris? My son has the Iphone . He can view my videos sent by email but I cannot view his sent to me.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHere is a cool trick to save videos to your G1.If you use firefox web browser you will need to download a plugin called download helper. Now you go to youtube and find a video you like.then wait for it to load.then when you select download helper in the top right corner you select from dropdown menu the file name of video followed by .flv.when you download the .flv file then i use xvidforpsp and convert the .flv to mp4 ot h.264 and then copy it to the G1 memory card and tada you just saved the youtube video for playback to your G1 to play at anytime and save without having to find it again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedTried doing a search but after sifting through many pages, decide to put in a new topic. I was recording a video using the HTC camcorder. Why does the video save as a .3gp format even though I selected mp4 and 720p in settings? Did I do something wrong? Is it really 720p? Did not know that 3gp had the ability to do HD video.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have encoded several videos to mp4. All of these videos played fine on on my phone until yesterday. Now none of them will play correctly. The default video player says "The video could not be played" and Act 1 says "Video is falling behind audio. It may be too much data for your phone to process, or may not be supported by Android" What gives? They play correctly on my wife's droid. I haven't downloaded any new apps since they played correctly. I have killed all apps to make sure I have enough memory. What could have changed? I have followed the instructions given on the forums to encode video to a T.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI never used an android phone before and i'm thinking to get myself a samung galaxy, but before that I'd like to know a couple of things concerning video playback on android. First of all, is there any way to play DIVX and XVID on an android phone WITHOUT converting? Do you need some particular paid application from the market or you can do it with the default player? How much this application would cost?
Another question: lot of my movies are quite big in resolution (you know the normal size that you use for pc's). Is there any need of resizing the movie to let it play on an android phone? I used to have a samsung omnia (rip); winmo sucked badly but it can play any video at almost any resolution very smoothly with free players also.
Since the 2.2 update for most phones, I've noticed that my 2.1 (Samsung Moment) won't stream video's now. Before video's would stream over my connection, however 2.2 comes out and know I keep getting error's or programs just shut down. Is this just a case of host programs switching to the new android format?

View 3 Replies View RelatedCan't play embeded video from any web pages on my HTC Desire. BBC site said i needed to download the correct version of flash player from Adobe. Adobe support stated that 'flash player for the operating system or browser' in not available as it only supports Google Nexus One.Its a 2 day old Desire so me thinks there may be a problem with the Desire or more likely i have been a bif and missed something.Apologies if this has been covered else where in the forums but the search didn't throw up anything useful and i was losing the will to live ploughing through page after page.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running a version of pl3x on my Moto Droid. I am not able to play any video (even youtube via the app). I have tried both the main player and kmplayer. I actually first noticed this earlier today when trying to play a video on youtube (it worked yesterday). I have run into this in the past and wrote it off as the rom (I do not remember which one I was running at the time) but restoring from an old backup followed by install of pl3x fixed it. I am really looking for an option other than flashing my phone again since it seems to happen multiple times on multiple roms.
