HTC Incredible :: Mic - Received Call Could Hear The Caller But They Could Not Hear
May 13, 2010Just got my Incredible and love it. I charged it up last night for the second time. Turned it on this morning and all looked good. Received a call this morning and I could hear the caller but they could not hear me. Several more incoming calls and the same issue. Then I made some calls...I could hear the person but they could not hear me. Finally turned phone off and back on and it is now fine. Mute was not on.....anyone know what this could be?

Apr 6, 2010No matter what 2.1 rom I load, I can make/receive calls ok for a few minutes.... then suddenly I cannot hear anything - no matter if I am making the call, or receiving the call. Have to reboot in order to get it to work. AFter rebooting, same thing. Everything works for a few calls, then I cannot hear anything. Anyone else experiencing this? I tried loading the Fresh audio fix, but it did not fix.

General :: HD2 (Paranoid Android 1.4a NAND) - Cannot Hear Caller
Jun 29, 2012I have an HD2 with Paranoid Android (1.4a CM9 NAND), along with Supercharger V6 and Mounts2sd 4.5.0.
I'm experiencing some phone audio issues that pop up and then mysteriously go away again. Specifically I cannot hear the audio from the other caller and the only way to have the conversation is by turning on speakerphone (which always works but is quite inconvenient). The other party can always hear me alright.

May 8, 2013I've notice lately, after flashing a custom rom, that during calls I can barely hear people on the other end yet they hear me fine. I have check all volume levels on my phone. Even with the call volume all the way up and on speaker is still very hard to hear.

May 26, 2013I am using IMO for Instant Messaging and so i removed the TALK app from my Nexus one (running Oxygen Rom) using Titanium backup.Recently there was an update in TALK app and i wanted to try it (Hangouts) so i installed it from the playstore. It was very slow on my mobile so i removed it again.
Now i am getting Talk notifications (with the old TALK icon) in the notification bar. along with the IMO notifications. When i click on the Talk notifications it does not open any app. and the messages that are notified by TALK are missing in the IMO app so its very frustrating.
So i thought it must be the HANGOUTS app and re installed it from the Play Store. Now i get Hangout notification, Talk notification and IMO notification. I removed the Hangouts app from the Application Manager and i still getting the TALK notifications.

Nov 10, 2010How to either replace the in call screen or put something on top of it....the only solution I have found thus far is to make my own ROM, which doesn't make sense for such a small portion of an OS. however I found these two apps (Full Screen Caller Pictures and Full Screen Caller ID) that are able to put a contact image and button on top of the standard in call screen.

Sometimes it will take 3 or 4 calls before it starts working again. Tried figuring out if it's a specific area (which it appeared to be) but now it's worse and happening all over the place. Haven't seen/installed any updates lately, anyone else experiencing this? Next step is to stop by or call Sprint this week. Phone I believe is a version 1 f(got it on launch day).

Jul 13, 2010Ok so me and my girlfriend both got evo's and the first couple times i used qik it worked fine. but now for some reason if she calls me (via qik video chat) i cant hear any sound from her but she hears me fine. but if i call her she doesn't get sound and i hear her fine!?! wtf? also while on the video chat one phone will have the microphone icon being displayed on bottom corner and other phone wont. is there something i can do to fix? is it an issue with phone or the qik app itself? just in case, it IS the version that is for the EVO on both phones

Apr 29, 2010shooting out emails etc. then, someone called me, i answered, and it connected, but i could not hear anyone. after some troubleshooting, this is what i've concluded: if i call someone non-speaker phone, neither the other party or myself can hear each other, even though it is connected. if i am on speaker phone, they can hear me, i cannot hear them on bluetooth it's fine, i can hear them and they can hear me. i just got the phone, and i cant send or receive calls? i talked to verizon tech dept, and they were like, whoa that's weird, and read me some tips and tricks on calling that is in the pamphlet that came with the phone. they said to do a factory reset. i really think it should be working, i've spent the past 6 hours customizing it, and i really dont want to reset everything, in hopes it "might" fix the problem.

But recently he's had problems with calls, he can't hear anyone but the caller can hear him. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this problem? I haven't had too much time to trouble shoot it yet. But i've tried checking all the volume settings, putting it into speaker phone, and all other sounds work though. Just voice call sounds don't work.

Aug 25, 2010I'd like to make the mp3 files I've uploaded on the phone from Itunes LOUDER, *without* having to buy a several hundred dollar computer program.
I've noticed that the songs which were pre-loaded on the phone are louder than the ones I've uploaded from itunes. If it isn't a techno/hiphop song (and I listen to classical mostly) I can hardly hear the tracks when I'm walking around town, even with noise-cancelling headphones. I never had this problem with the iPhone, so this is a little frustrating.

May 29, 2010However i have come across a few problems. One of which is when someone calls me or I call them depending on what "mood" my phone is in the person on the other line cannot hear me. Also since about two days ago it's been happening almost everyday, now the hitch pitched "Beep" is accompanying the problem of the person on the other line not being able to hear me. I can get around it, I have toe reset my phone twice. Yep, twice. I reset it the first time and it does nothing. Still same ol' high pitched "beep" and no one can hear me. No matter how long I wait on the phone or how many phone calls I make. After the second reset it works with no problems.

May 19, 2010Sorry if this has been posted before, I'm new to this site, but does anybody else think the volume on the inc is just too low? I keep the volume all the way up, but when I'm in my car or just outside with other surrounding noises, I just cant really hear it. It's useless to even put the ringer volume halfway or less, you could barley hear it at all. Is it just me or does anybody else have this problem?
