Is it possible to get all of the EVO 4Gs sounds to come through the bluetooth headset? When I am driving I would like to be able to hear turn by turn directions through a headset as well as any system notifications I have. At work I would like to hear any system notifications without those around me having to hear them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed Fring on my Galaxy and it did some strange tricks , now my phone is in a state in wich it is completely muted ( no sounds, cannot call and cannot hear) and have to use a headset to use it.
I'm sure it is Fring, because as soon I make a fring call test it works again and I can make and receive calls without headset ( no alerts nor loudspeaker though)
I will have to reset it to factory settings, but I have a series of doubts:
- Contacts: I have contacts from my sim card, some I added and some that come from Facebook/Gmail, now, I checked on the contacts and everything is there, which, I suppose, means that first time I rtestart a sync they'll be back, right?
- Internal data: Photos and MP3 are safe in the SD card, what else do I have to backup?
- Market apps: The market profile will allow me to redownload the apps that I had on the phone or is the profile locally stored? if so, were so that I can Backup it?
- A special issue: here in Belgium we do not have the paying market yet so we can only download the free apps. When i was in Italy I used an italian SIM card and bought a couple of apps.
I suppose there is no way i an get them back is there?
I have an LG ally and I connect my bluetooth. It's connecting to media audio and I can hear music videos, you tube and my visual VM but not the people I call.
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust got my Incredible and love it. I charged it up last night for the second time. Turned it on this morning and all looked good. Received a call this morning and I could hear the caller but they could not hear me. Several more incoming calls and the same issue. Then I made some calls...I could hear the person but they could not hear me. Finally turned phone off and back on and it is now fine. Mute was not on.....anyone know what this could be?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've notice lately, after flashing a custom rom, that during calls I can barely hear people on the other end yet they hear me fine. I have check all volume levels on my phone. Even with the call volume all the way up and on speaker is still very hard to hear.

I am able to send everything else like pictures or other stuff, but for some reason there is no option to send a sound. WHY? Am I doing something wrong? View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Moto stereo BT headset, and find that I am having an almost impossible time of pairing it. It works to make calls, but I can never get the media sound to come through, even though it says it is connected, I think it has maybe worked twice, with constant turning off and on of both BT on the N1 and the headset.
I noticed I had a lot of problems with my G1 sometimes, but nothing this extreme, the most it would take with the G1 is 1 or 2 tries. The first time I tried it with the N1 it worked perfect, and figured it had finally been fixed, but ever since it is more of a nightmare than ever.
Looking for a Bluetooth headset that sounds great and does not cost more than $40-$50. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. The cheaper the better.

2. If it will work, any recommendations such a headset? I'm no audiophile, so my main issues would be comfort and battery life.
I have a Droid Bionic. I like it. But I was recently having some GMail syncing issues and during the troubleshooting for that I uninstalled the latest GMail update and reinstalled it. As a result, GMail is now doing audible notificatrion sounds for new email when before I only had notification in t he notification bar. I can't seem to get it turned off. I still want calendar events and texts to sound so I don't want to silence the phone but I want email and GMail to be silent (Notification icon only).

I have the volume all the way turned up and I have the hardest time hearing. I mean it has to be dead quiet for me to hear the person talking to me.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIn the last couple weeks I have started experiencing echo on my phone. Everything I say comes back to me and the other end can't hear anything. Sometimes it will take 3 or 4 calls before it starts working again. Tried figuring out if it's a specific area (which it appeared to be) but now it's worse and happening all over the place. Haven't seen/installed any updates lately, anyone else experiencing this? Next step is to stop by or call Sprint this week. Phone I believe is a version 1 f(got it on launch day).
View 4 Replies View RelatedOk so me and my girlfriend both got evo's and the first couple times i used qik it worked fine. but now for some reason if she calls me (via qik video chat) i cant hear any sound from her but she hears me fine. but if i call her she doesn't get sound and i hear her fine!?! wtf? also while on the video chat one phone will have the microphone icon being displayed on bottom corner and other phone wont. is there something i can do to fix? is it an issue with phone or the qik app itself? just in case, it IS the version that is for the EVO on both phones
View 2 Replies View Relatedshooting out emails etc. then, someone called me, i answered, and it connected, but i could not hear anyone. after some troubleshooting, this is what i've concluded: if i call someone non-speaker phone, neither the other party or myself can hear each other, even though it is connected. if i am on speaker phone, they can hear me, i cannot hear them on bluetooth it's fine, i can hear them and they can hear me. i just got the phone, and i cant send or receive calls? i talked to verizon tech dept, and they were like, whoa that's weird, and read me some tips and tricks on calling that is in the pamphlet that came with the phone. they said to do a factory reset. i really think it should be working, i've spent the past 6 hours customizing it, and i really dont want to reset everything, in hopes it "might" fix the problem.

But recently he's had problems with calls, he can't hear anyone but the caller can hear him. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this problem? I haven't had too much time to trouble shoot it yet. But i've tried checking all the volume settings, putting it into speaker phone, and all other sounds work though. Just voice call sounds don't work.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI'd like to make the mp3 files I've uploaded on the phone from Itunes LOUDER, *without* having to buy a several hundred dollar computer program.
I've noticed that the songs which were pre-loaded on the phone are louder than the ones I've uploaded from itunes. If it isn't a techno/hiphop song (and I listen to classical mostly) I can hardly hear the tracks when I'm walking around town, even with noise-cancelling headphones. I never had this problem with the iPhone, so this is a little frustrating.
So, when someone calls me it rings your cell phone , when to call can not hear anything, just do not hear the message , or when play music , and when I put the headphones , then everything is normal I hear, what to do , I made a reset and again is not good

One of which is when someone calls me or I call them depending on what "mood" my phone is in the person on the other line cannot hear me. Also since about two days ago it's been happening almost everyday, now the hitch pitched "Beep" is accompanying the problem of the person on the other line not being able to hear me. I can get around it, I have toe reset my phone twice. Yep, twice. I reset it the first time and it does nothing. Still same ol' high pitched "beep" and no one can hear me. No matter how long I wait on the phone or how many phone calls I make. After the second reset it works with no problems.
