I've notice lately, after flashing a custom rom, that during calls I can barely hear people on the other end yet they hear me fine. I have check all volume levels on my phone. Even with the call volume all the way up and on speaker is still very hard to hear.

View 9 Replies View RelatedJust got my Incredible and love it. I charged it up last night for the second time. Turned it on this morning and all looked good. Received a call this morning and I could hear the caller but they could not hear me. Several more incoming calls and the same issue. Then I made some calls...I could hear the person but they could not hear me. Finally turned phone off and back on and it is now fine. Mute was not on.....anyone know what this could be?

I keep getting complaints that people can't hear me because my voice is too quiet however I can hear phone calls just fine. This started happening when I upgraded to Froyo. I wiped the phone but that didn't seem to help. Is there anything else I can do? Is there a mic volume I'm missing?

I then actually called myself with another phone and realized that I can't hear myself at all when I set the phone to speaker mode! When I turn off speakerphone and talk into the mic the voice is loud and clear, but the moment I turn it on boom the other end hears nothing.

They gave me a brand new Droid and it is doing the same thing. When I am using my bluetooth, my fiancé can hear me perfectly. I love the Droid and this seems to be the only issue.

When she is on the phone talking it is constantly, muting her voice or something cuz no1 can hear her. she just got the phone less than a week ago. I read online and found a bunch of stuff about the proximity sensor and the software issues, however those were all dated last year around winter time. So I am trying to see if there is a current fix for it. I see on the forums people have some problems with hardware on their incredibles but I didn't see a thread for the droid. I'm experiencing some phone audio issues that pop up and then mysteriously go away again. Specifically I cannot hear the audio from the other caller and the only way to have the conversation is by turning on speakerphone (which always works but is quite inconvenient). The other party can always hear me alright.

I have some problems when I'm using skype on my Samsung SGH-I827 (Samsung Appeal) from AT&T. Basically my problem is when I make a call to anyone of my contacts, what happens is that the other person can't hear me, I made a call to Skype Test Call service and I can't hear my own voice when I record the message that is requested in order to test the recording part.
This problem is in both ways, when I make a call and when I receive a call. I'm using only wi-fi because I don't have a data package that allows me to make calls over 3G. In addition I have a skype subscription and an online skype number that allows anyone with an landline or mobile phone reach me on skype.
I've been using your JB builds on my Motorola Atrix mb 860. When ever I call or a call comes, I can't hear anything unless I'm on speakerphone or I plug in Bluetooth headphones. I even replaced ear speaker flex cable. But still I am unable to hear anything.
I already did the factory reset, wiped cache/system and data and also tried different JB flavors for atrix and also stable CM 7.2 on the sdcard.
Is it possible to get all of the EVO 4Gs sounds to come through the bluetooth headset? When I am driving I would like to be able to hear turn by turn directions through a headset as well as any system notifications I have. At work I would like to hear any system notifications without those around me having to hear them.

I have the volume all the way turned up and I have the hardest time hearing. I mean it has to be dead quiet for me to hear the person talking to me.
