Is there a way to see the file names of the pictures on my Motorola Droid Razr phone? I can see them when I connect to my PC and use Windows Explorer but I only see the pictures on the phone.

I deleted Handcent and when I went to enable the default texting app, instead of showing a button that said 'Enable' it just showed an unclickable 'Disable' button. How can I re-enable the app? For instance, I would find an image in my gallary that is 1.41MB, but when I go under My Files, the closest I can find is the same image under DCIM>.thumbnails at 28k. Now, I want to use the image file of the wallpaper but I can't locate it anywhere, whether in the tab nor in dropbox or google drive. It is not the wallpaper that came with the device, it is an image I retrieved from the net somewhere, which I tried to google it too without any result. I mean, where did it get back that wallpaper from, and where did it store it now that it can display it as a wallpaper?

I tried to wipe cache partition , to wipe dalvik cache, to flash the same rom, to flash another rom, to delete all data... but nothin happens.. it seems like the recovery (CWM) can't delete anything! if i delete or format anything , nothing happens! but the recovery told me that the process has succedeed.. I tried using Wugfresh toolkit to flash stock and also Odin.. but nothin happens.. I tried some casual commands on ADB, but i'm no good with ADB.

View 8 Replies View Relatedon my Nexus 7 (Android 4.3). Via the reading history of my pdf reader (Moon+ reader) I can see that at least one file is still present in the cache under the following folder address:

How can I access this folder? When accessing the device via the Android File Transfer sofware for Mac, I don't see this folder. I have access to Android/data/com.google.android.apps.docs/files, but this folder contains no files but only another folder (called "pinned_doc_files_not_for_edit") which is also empty.
The lost pdf is still there, I can open it in the reader via the reading history, but I would like to access the folder to see whether other lost files (which are not in the reading history) are also still present. To be clear, the file which I can open is also not detected when searching the device for pdfs.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got a Motorola Droid RAZR and I am on PagePlusCellular and have been very happy up to this point. I bought the new phone after discovering that some work apps wouldn't work on my old phone because I couldn't upgrade the OS. I called PP to see if the phone was supported and I was told it wouldn't work on 4G but would if I could use 3G with it. Since I also needed a SIM card for it (another story), the local PP dealer flashed it and I have the 1X symbol displayed on screen. But I cannot send or receive picture texts-when I try I get "MMS needs to be enabled". And no 3G, just 1X. I have gone thru every setting I can find and it seems to be enabled. I went back to the dealer and was told all the settings are correct and I need to contact PP about it.
I got on live chat as I didn't want to wait on hold (and this is about the only problem I've had with PP) and was told that this phone isn't supported because it's 4G. I told them that a rep told me it was if I use 3G and I bought the phone based on their info. All they could do then is tell me to take it back to the dealer to re-flash it...
So it's been reflashed but no joy. I go to a WirelessToyz dealer who says the APN wasn't set. When I go to the settings the APN is greyed out.

I'm curious if it is just a setting I haven't found since not but 2 days ago I found out that you CAN get the phone to vibrate for texts it just isn't in the general settings.It shows folder names which makes finding them easy but I want to see the file names too. For example, I have Tin Man in a folder but when I open the folder it is just thumbnails of the 3 parts.
It's just by chance that the computer copied the last file first so they are in order but this not only isn't going to happen often but I would like to store all my movies and music videos in general folders and browse through them without making a new one for every file.
I'm currently making my own icons for apps in MIUI, but I also want to restyle apps downloaded in the market..
Since you have to rename the icons to the name of the files, like:

com.facebook.katana.png
I also need to find the names of the apps I downloaded, so I can make custom icons for them, but I don't know where to find the names. How I can find them so I can make custom icons for them?
I Love my HTC Droid Incredible. I have no problems using the camera or moving images where I want them (Facebook, Flickr, or my PC). As I take photos, they are saved as a file name like "IMAG0029.jpg". They sequentially increment. I am fine with that.
What I would like, is, a way to re-set the embedded number to zero; either when the camera is empty (after a download), or manually.
Is there a file on the tablet that holds the names of all installed apps? One that is readable to copy off so I know what apps i've installed.

I've tried GoSMS Pro, Textra, Handcent, Hangouts,... nothing else will send an MMS. It tries, and then just switches over to retrying until I force quite the app, or send another regular, text only message.
I've tried signing in/out, Hard reset, turning it off and on again,...
I'm using stock 4.1.2. on a ZTE Savvy with Straight Talk on Verizon towers.
I am eagerly looking for an app that would allow me to rotate scheduled SMS e.g. from a set of 10 pre-set messages, it sends out 1st,2nd,3rd... SMS each day in chronological order.Go SMS, Chomp SMS etc. allow you to schedule SMS but it is the SAME SMS that goes out each day. Do you know such apps?
