Feb 15, 2014my S3 doesn't connect to the PC since I updated the Android version 4.3. When I plug in the USB, the phone is charging, but I cannot transfer nothing to PC or reverse.

Jelly Bean :: 4.3 - Can't Connect To Mobile Hotspot
Jan 26, 2014I installed the 4.3 Jelly Bean update and now my connection is giving me trouble.
Most web pages crash without loading all the way. I can't connect to my mobile hotspot. When I look at my RAM, it seems the phne is using 70-80% of max all the time.

Nov 8, 2013The wifi worked fine until I disconnected for the first time. Since then the phone never wanted to reconnect to our private network no matter what I tried. I tried switching the wifi off and back on again. Tried switching the phone on and off again multiple times. I even tried to use a static IP address but that also didn't seem to work. I also tried switching the 'Wi-Fi optimisation' off as well as setting the 'Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep' to 'Always'.
With one of my previous phone (HTC Wildfire) I've experienced the infamous wifi-loop many times (Connecting, Fetching Ip, Connected, Disconnected, Connecting...). But I never experienced that on my Xperia S(Android 4.1) (although I have experienced different wifi problems on it (i.e., IP clashes, etc.)).
The problem is NOT at the modem (I've tried reseting it MANY time and it still doesn't solve my solution. My laptop is successfully connected to our wifi. And I even tried switch the laptop off). The phone itself is not connecting AT ALL to the wifi. It is however connecting to my mobile network.

Jun 1, 2014I wanted to go to the play store on my tab to update an app I had but I couldn't connect to the store at all. So I went to the my account under the in the settings app and I saw that its been having some sync issues. I kept retrying the sync but it kept failing. So I deleted the account off of my tablet and tryed to log back in. Now it won't even log in and its telling me it can't establish a reliable connection to the server and takes me to the WiFi options in settings.
I dont know whats wrong. My internet works perfectly fine. I can surf the web, watch videos, download and even play apps that require an online connection on my tab but I can't use any Google services for some reason.

Dec 22, 2013I've had a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for just over a year. A few weeks ago, I updated to Android 4.2.2 whilst visiting my parent's house and it started continually rebooting itself. I did a factory reset (or two) before figuring out that it's entirely down to the WiFi. If I get in quick enough and don't allow it to connect, the problem stops, and it only occurs with the WiFi at my parent's house (though it always worked fine before the update). I've tried unplugging the WiFi repeater, which was a relatively new addition to the house, but it hasn't made a difference.

Nov 10, 2013I can send SMS and MMS with the stock 4.1.2. messaging app on wifi or cell data just fine, but no 3rd party app including Hangouts 2.0 will send MMS messages.
I've tried GoSMS Pro, Textra, Handcent, Hangouts,... nothing else will send an MMS. It tries, and then just switches over to retrying until I force quite the app, or send another regular, text only message.
I've tried signing in/out, Hard reset, turning it off and on again,...
I'm using stock 4.1.2. on a ZTE Savvy with Straight Talk on Verizon towers.

In GoSMS, I get dual notifications. When I select the setting (Disable Other Message Notification), I don't get dual notifications on the notification bar and Sound 02 does not play.
how to get rid of the dual notification but may it use Sound 02 as the default? I have Sound 01 used the default notification for emails, etc.

Dec 18, 2013I got an OTA Android 4.3 update last week (or two weeks ago, perhaps) for my AT&T (out of contract) Galaxy S3 (SGH-747), shortly after (~6 weeks I think) getting an update to 4.x (can't recall which number it was, but it was less than 4.3, maybe 4.2.1?)
The 4.3 update has completely screwed my phone:
Have Slowness issuesHome screen repaints icons noticeably slowlyThere are now sticky notifications of two downloads that happened BACK IN MARCH. No matter how many times I click on clear, they come back almost immediatelyHUGE BATTERY DRAIN. THE BATTERY COMPLETELY DEPLETES AFTER 2 HOURS AT MOST, WHICH DIDN'T HAPPEN BEFORE THIS STUPID UPDATEBattery stats shows the drain is because of an app that I completely doubt did anything. When I uninstalled such app Android is now blaming Android system (or something like that), and the battery drain continues CANNOT ACTIVATE WiFi HOTSPOT ANY MORE. "Please wait while verifying" and then "A network error has occurred". Even with FoxFi, I get the same issueetc.
I am no longer using AT&T but instead StraightTalk (for 10+ months). Everything was working perfectly for me before this stupid update
Checked that there is no newer update. Also, installed Kies 3.0 and it tells me my OS is not supported for updates via Kies either.
how to wipe out this update and go back to the stock original rom (4.1.1 i think).

Right now these are two of my biggies - the command bar at the bottom seems to take screen real estate where it should be hidden when an app is running. Is there a way to do this? Also I like live widgets but could not figure out how to make them appear on the lock screen.
