How To Make Soundboard

I am looking to make several soundboards that I would like to put in the market for free. I really don't know anything about the code needed to do this. I have in the past taken a MUD (Multi-User Dungeon) and gone into the code and changed it to how I wanted it. Could it be anything like that?
Is there a way I could take an existing soundboard... like the Old Man Herbert soundboard and simply go into the code and just change out the sound, photos, and text?

I downloaded a soundboard, used it for my notification. tone and now I can't get rid of it! I have changedit back to my original tone in my settings. But when I get a text, it is still active! I even deleted the soundboard. In my settings it now shows my old tone but dosent use itt for some reason.

I have a weird problem with the hitchhikers guide soundboard app on the market. I have a non rooted HTC Magic (running 1.6 donut) and live in New Zealand. I was able to install an early version of it (1.2) I think. So the app would appear in the "My Downloads" section.In the description of the app, I could then see the app was getting upgraded frequently. But I never got any notification to upgrade. When I then searched for the app, it no longer appeared for me in the market.Its like somehow its been geo restricted, or perhaps no longer compatible with my phone, so it had disappeared for me to download/upgrade. I can even goto the authors website & try installing the app independent of the market, but even then a dialog box pops up saying "Cannot install on this phone".I can see other people are downloading and using it, but am wondering if other people are having any issues finding & installing the app? I want to copy all of the sounds from a soundboard app to my computer, and I don't want to do every single one, one at a time. How do I get it so I can just bulk them all over to my PC?

I got a soundboard where you can long press one of the sounds and then set it as a notification or a ringtone. I did it and picked notification, but it doesn't seem to take effect.
Is there something I need to do phone wise in the settings to tell it to listen to that sound board?

I'm trying to make a soundboard to put on the android market. I downloaded a soundboard template from [URL]..., and it works great except I don't know how to successfully change the package name from "com.soundboard" to something else without making the project go all "error" crazy.
I click the package name in the the package explorer and click refactor and I change the package name, but then everything becomes an error because the package name is now different. How can I change the package name successfully so I don't get errors everywhere?

I just got the Samsung Galaxy S Captivate. Seems like a nice phone. Every phone I've had in the past (Nokia, Sony, etc...) has always allowed me to hide my number so that the call display on the receiver's phone shows my call as 'private'. This is useful for when you don't want certain people to have your number when you call. Is there a way to do this on the Galaxy S? I couldn't seem to find any setting how.

I tried 4G for the first time tonight and while using it my Evo seemed to lag noticeably, whether it was scrolling through my homepages or scrolling through a webpage, or just holding down the Home button to bring up the open apps screen. Anyone else experience this?

Updated my phone to 1.47 or whatever it is. Now my phone won't stop vibrating when I get a notification. Volume is up. Vibrate for everything is off. Haptic feedback is off...Rebooted twice...

I just made a private comment to twospirits, suggesting that he sticky the "What Apps Do You Have" thread. His response was that he didn't want to sticky too many threads, as to overwhelm the main page with a dozen stickied threads. Instead, he's relying on the "Forum Guidelines" stickied item. I think that's great but in my past experience, new users don't usually check that. In my experience, new users will simply come on in, maybe glance over the thread titles of the first page to see if any pertain to what they're interested in, then simply start a new thread to get their questions addressed. And that new thread is often redundant. twospirits suggested that I start a discussion to see what others in the community thought. If you have a specific thread that you think should be stickied

First off I have the VZW holster/case combo for my DI. Amazon.com: HTC Droid Incredible Shell Holster Combo: Cell Phones... Then I purchased the Body Glove kickstand for a whopping $1.98 Amazon.com: Body Glove Low Profile Replacement Swivel Holster Belt Clip with Adjustable Kickstand for Snap-On Case: Electronics Then, using a hacksaw blade, I cut the kickstand portion to separate it from the swivel belt clip (which is not needed). I carefully aligned the kickstand to the backside of the case (camera lens side) and, using a pencil, marked where the kickstand would be attached. Using a tiny bit of super glue on both upper and lower edges of the backside of the kickstand, I pressed it into place, held it in position for 30 seconds and then set it aside for a few minutes for the glue to set. It slides in and out of the case and does not interfere or add bulk to either the phone or the case. The kickstand works in either landscape or portrait and "clicks" (locks) exactly the same as the factory Body Glove does. I made one for my Eris and now one for my Incredible. It's never broken off and I use it constantly with no problems at all. People ask me where I got this cool holster/case combo with the kickstand. I tell them I made it.

So the evo animations run embarrassingly compared to droid x on the UI. I was at the verizon store yesterday comparing them even the htc incredible runs smoother as far as the interface goes. Will rooting make this better? I'm sure the EVO is capable even more than any of those two phones.

I'm a regular visitor to the "Let Us peek at your Screens - thread and one of the most common questions is how to make wallpaper. One of the nicest things about knowing how to do this is you can get wallpaper from almost anywhere for your phone. It's pretty cool really and although it make look a little daunting at first once you do it a couple of times you'll see it's really easy. So I've put together this little tutorial. It uses Photoshop but the same basic principles apply regardless of the image editing software you use.
