Samsung Captivate :: Market Getting Stuck When Start Downloading
Aug 2, 2010So I understand there are known issues with the Market getting stuck at "Starting Download" but here's my problem. I removed GoogleTalk which seems to be the route of the issue and now I can't seem to get it back. Also, ever since then I get the following error message upon booting: "The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. dumpstate_app_201008021101_com_google_process_gapp s.log has been saved. Use *#9900# to copy out log." I'd rather not have to factory reset since I'm already rooted and was just getting things the way I liked them.

May 13, 2010Just got my Incredible and really loving it but there's a small bug in the market app.The apps I download install fine, but they stay stuck at the currently downloading section at the top. Is this happening to anyone else?EDIT: Uninstalling market updates, deleting cache + reboot fixed it.

Oct 23, 2009I've got some photos stuck in an MMS that I tried to download before I realised that I didnt have the correct MMS APN settings in (due to swapping to the Modaco ROM). The correct settings are now in but the MMS is stuck at "downloading" status. Is there any way I can rescue it, there is no forward option and I've successfully sent and recieved MMS since.

Oct 30, 2010So i can't find the game "Zombie, Run!" on the market. If i try to use "AppBrain" to find it it says something like the item was not found or something like that. I also tried my friend sending the app to me but it also says "not found" or some other error message. Can anyone help me? I rally love this game and would love to install it on my WildFire. Is there also a possibility to download the game onto the PC and then somehow move it to the phone?

Apr 23, 2010I'm developing an Android game that has to download some assets to the SD card to keep the size of the app as small as possible. I was thinking of using an uncompressed zip file to bundle all the assets.
A requirement from the client is to protect these assets as much as possible. Being part of the apk is considered enough protection, but if I do this the apk size will be enormous. If I just put a zip bundle in the SD card, then anyone can unzip it and explore its contents.
Is there a simple way to do this without retorting to horrid DRM?
HTC Wildfire :: Opening Notification Panel From Status Bar
Aug 8, 2010Don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to open the notification panel by long-pressing the status bar and dragging down, which I understand is how it should be done. Whenever I do this it either wants to remove the widget, or it brings up the "Add to Home" screen. I can still get to the notifications panel by choosing Menu then Notifications from the home screen, but can't understand why I can't get it the normal way.

Mar 22, 2012Just started with one. But while flashing the ROM i'm getting Status 7 error.
I took RazoDroid ROM which is for Galaxy Fit and SplashMod ROM of Wildfire.
The following are the steps i followed while porting which were guided from here.
1.Extracted boot.img and replaced the kernel from SplashMOD.
2.From the ramdisk changed to init.buzz.rc
3.Repacked kernel.
4.Replaced the following folders/files from SpashMOD

/system/lib/modules/
/system/lib/hw/
/system/usr/keylayout/
[Code]....
Else the procedure itself is wrong or the ROM can not be ported?
HTC Wildfire :: Game Lags In Phone / Get It To Work?
Sep 22, 2010Recently, i got myself an HTC Wildfire. It's great, except one thing. Some of the games lags, but the lag gets less and less the more i play the game. It does'nt disappear totally but it gets smaller.
Its not the processors because i tested the games on an Xperia X10 Mini and they worked perfectly fine.
What cam it be?

Aug 18, 2013I'm trying to download Life360 & it's stuck in downloading mode when I try to download it throught the play store. Nothing ever dowloads, I just see the horizontal bar with the download indicator "downloading".
When I try to get it downloaded from my computer to my phone by sending the link, I click on the link & get the message that it is already installed but then it starts trying to download the app with the message "Waiting for Wi-Fi". I don't use Wi-FI and I never knew this needed Wi-Fi to download. I dont' care to be charged for Wi-Fi.
How can I get this downloaded and why would I get a message that it is installed but get the above happening (i looked everywhere on my phone & it's not installed)?

Jan 20, 2014I was updating to CM11 using clockworkmod recovery v6.0.3.2 and experienced status 7 error. I now know that you need v6.0.4 to update to CM11.
I am now stuck with no OS in clockworkmod recovery and cant revert to the original CM10 as I get a (bad) error.
How would I go about updating to v6.0.4?
