Feb 9, 2013I tried flashing a stock Android 4.2 JB ROM that seems legit. After flashing, I rebooted my device and saw the standard Nexus boot animation. So far, I though all was well. It's not. My phone has been stuck in this constant booting state for hours. I pulled the battery after an appropriate amount of waiting and held down the power and volume down+up button. Instead of booting into Fastboot mode, it went straight to Odin Mode. All I can do with my device is boot to Odin Mode or watch the Nexus boot animation over and over again.

Aug 18, 2013I'm trying to download Life360 & it's stuck in downloading mode when I try to download it throught the play store. Nothing ever dowloads, I just see the horizontal bar with the download indicator "downloading".
When I try to get it downloaded from my computer to my phone by sending the link, I click on the link & get the message that it is already installed but then it starts trying to download the app with the message "Waiting for Wi-Fi". I don't use Wi-FI and I never knew this needed Wi-Fi to download. I dont' care to be charged for Wi-Fi.
How can I get this downloaded and why would I get a message that it is installed but get the above happening (i looked everywhere on my phone & it's not installed)?

I tried to install Jelly bean , but failed and now its in Downloading mode. i dont know what to do know. i tired to install GB stuck which got stuck on Cache.img. i even dont know which stock rom i need. and where i can download it from ?

General :: Galaxy S3 Getting Stuck In Sleep Mode / Locked
Dec 12, 2013I had it first on the Galaxy S3 with 4.2.1 stock rom, I don't know if it might be an app that might be causing this, basically when i lock the phone the screen turns off but then when i press the power button or the home button to turn on the screen it does not do anything, I know the phone is still on because sometimes if i get a text message i can see the blue led blinking and it will continue to blink even when it's frozen.
The only way to bring it back is by holding the power and home button together in order to reset it.I tried factory reset and it would not work, I flashed the phone with a custom rom for Paranoid Android 4.3 and it worked great for about a week, no issues at all, but then it started freezing when locked again.

Even worst, if i'm listening to music and i lock the phone or if the screen times out and locks when i try to unlock it i can see it's stuck but the music is still playing....
Also, if the phone is stuck and i try to call it, it will not ring not turn the screen on, it's not like the problem is just the physical buttons, i don't know what to do since the phone is out of warranty, I have never dropped the phone and there is no damage on it, it have never over heat either so i don't know what can i do...

Oct 2, 2013I've rooted my samsung galaxy mega 6.3 GT-I9205 but I got stuck in a boot loop after trying to change my boot logo using a app called root tools. Before that everything with root worked fine.So I tried recovering the phone by going into recovery mode and wiping all of my data/factory reset and also wiping my cache. Both of these thing did not work.
So after that I went into download mode and tried to instal something I believe CWM. But now I can't even go into recovery mode because when I try, the phone says that it's going into recovery mode and then just reboots... and goes into a bootloop.

Nov 15, 2013i have a samsung galaxy S1 with cyanogenmod, and i don't know what happened but when i turn on the phone it just stay on the loading screen, something like this : just a black screen with that little loading icon in it (without animation) i tried running both recovery and downloading mode (V+/v-,menu,Power) but nothing works too, and there is another strange behavior, sometimes, it show me the "Downloading.... do not turn off target !!! " message, when it is in that screen, the pc does recognies the samsung driver but i have no access to it, and Odin doesn't find the device

Aug 11, 2010Was updating my SGS when it got stuck on the screen where Android is digging in the dirt and says Downloading... do no turn off target.
Windows is also giving me an error "The Program can't start because RAPI.dll is missing from your compter. Try Reinstalling the program to fix this problem"
I tried reinstalling Kies but nothing happens.... Why oh why couldn't Samsung have just let us update OTA.....
Samsung I7500 :: Galaxy Stuck In Download Mode
Jan 12, 2010I started a firmware update (using Odin) and, when downloading the amss, samsung says "Bad block table read fail". a lot of times and the progress bar (on Odin) stay locked. And the update cant finish. So, I restart the mobile... but it always come with the "Downloading..." screen. I've tried the recovery mode [vol down] + [start call] + [end call] buttons, but it always go to "Downloading..." screen. I can't exit from the download mode, and the phone doesn't start any more. I've removed the battery, but the same... the "diskette logo" come with "Downloading..." all the times.
So, two questions:
1) About the "bad block" message, I think it's because I left "turned on" the USB debugging. so, I want to start the phone to turn it off again. This make sense?
2) How to get rid of this screen? How to stop the download mode?

Just now I tried going into recovery/download mode to see what features it have by pressing the volume down+home+Power button. Now the phone says "Downloading Do not turn of target! What can I do to solve this problem. Till now I haven't tried to restart the phone? Should I do that?

Oct 2, 2012I was trying to update my Samsung Exhibit 4G (tmobile) last night and my computer got a blue-screen error so restarted it self.
Right now I have a Exhibit that can not do anything.

I can not go into Downlaoding mode, I can not go into Recovery mode
ODIN does not recognize my phone at all
Kies tries to connect to my phone but the circle turns infinite number of times and gives error.
Kies connection troubleshoot doesnt work either.
I do not have any backup thingy in my kies too, even i do i cant connect the phone.

Jan 31, 2012My htc magic 32a stuck in RUU mode, after I tried to update my magic to RUU and it failed. I can't even go to Recovery mode, but I can use fastboot in CMD.
and one more thing, I can open my magic everytime I use the fastboot command "fastboot oem boot", after that may magic will powered ON but everytime it will be turned off it will stuck to RUU mode. And I need it first to go through fastboot command "fastboot oem boot" just to open my magic.

General :: When Battery Dies Phone Goes Into Downloading Packages / Entering Store Mode
Aug 10, 2013Every time I let my SIIX batt die the phone states "downloading packages" and "entering store mode". A picture of an android shows up, the only way for me to get my phone to work again is by doing the following:
-Plug the phone in and let it charge a bit
-Unplug the phone from the charger and take the batt out
-Put the batt back in making sure it stays unplugged from charger otherwise it goes back into store mode
Only then will my phone go back to normal and charge....

Jan 9, 2011I was downloading a bluetooth toggle button from the market, battery died. After plugging it in and turning it on, it's now in "Safe Mode". Says safe mode in bottom left corner, none of my app's show up, none of my widgets work.
Rebooted 100 times, held the trackball, held the menu button, held the back button, held the volume button, factory reset. Still in safe mode.

General :: Android Stuck In Factory Mode?
Jul 23, 2013I am stuck in the recovery mode "FACTORY MODE" in my phone. I've enter in the recovery menu (power + volume up down) then I enter Factory Mode, then Item Test. And in this item test I don't have an option to return to previous menu tree, my phone only have UP, DOWN and POWER buttons, and none of them goes back to initial menu. Also the battery is non user replaceable, so I'm completely stuck in this screen. It's a motorola razr D3 XT920. I'm going nut's.

Jan 26, 2012I've got a Samsung Droid Charge, which I've rooted. I had used it for about 3 months with minimal issues. Yesterday I noticed my phone was stuck in airplane mode, and no amount of phone codes, setting tweaks, and soft resets would get it out. I backed up everything with Titanium and did a factory reset. This gave me my signal back, and I started the process of restoring everything via Titanium. After the restore completed, I was prompted to add my PIN for my Exchange account, which I did. I then soft reset my phone...
When the phone rebooted, I was in airplane mode again, and the PIN unlock screen was blocking entry to my phone. I enter in the PIN I had set a few minutes previously...and the phone rejects it. I try it a couple of times just to be sure, and no dice. I tried what I thought were defaults, like 1111 or 0000 or 1234...nothing. After my attempts ran out, the phone hard reset itself again.
Just to see if I wasn't crazy, I tried the whole process again and got the exact same result.
Why is my PIN being modified without my knowing, and what is it being modified to? Additionally, why do I get stuck in airplane mode after restoring my Titanium backup? I'd like to be able to use my phone without worrying about the need to wipe it after a soft reset...

General :: Samsung Fascinate Stuck In Recovery Mode
Mar 7, 2012I rooted my phone a couple weeks back. I backed up my apps with titanium pro and downloaded ROM manager. I clicked "reboot into recovery mode" from ROM manager and the phone went into recovery.
I am now stuck. I have four options:
1. reboot system now
2. apply update from SD card
3. wipe data/factory reset
4. wipe cache partition
I tried option one and clicked the button on the right side of the phone (the "enter" button), but nothing happens. In fact, none of the options do anything. seems like the phone isn't recognizing the enter button.
I have not flashed clockwork mod recovery. I think it probably requires some type of reboot but i don't know the steps.
