Is there a way to change the sound profile from, say, normal to silent without having to go through the menus? In other words, for former Storm users, the way we could click on the speaker to quickly choose profiles.

i am looking for an app that will allow me to change the sound profile to be able to go phone only mode. and have it shut all other sounds off. i have tried locale but that one didnt work for me.

View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know of a way to make the phone, when set to vibrate, vibrate longer and stronger than the 2 short weak vibrates that it does now? I miss more calls because of this than any other reason. A co-worker has the Moto Droid and that thing will vibrate so hard the phone will move across the desk. Thats what I am used to coming from BlackBerries. I would like to accomplish this without using a 3rd party app if possible.

1) Is there a way to avoid notification sounds to take place during media playback, mainly music player, without having to change my sounds profile to silent, or vibrate?
2) All of a sudden my phone is taking a little long to load SMS conversations. Is there a way to fix that? I feel as though my Snapdragon shouldn't lag when I open a text.
I just got this Kaleor alarm clock. It is fantastic, very customizable. I set the alarm ringtone to a song I would like to wake up to. When the alarm goes off, the song that should play is preceded by a rather annoying alarm bell type noise. After that goes off (which wakes me up in an uncomfortable manner), my song plays immediately following. How do I stop the annoying Alarm sound preceding all of my set alarm ringtones?

But for some reason when I get a voicemail it plays a sound that I selected as notification sound in Sound & Display setting. The same sound that is used for email notification.

Just picked up my incredible, and I have two questions....
1. how do i change the email notification to a specific sound? As of rite now, when i receive an email nothing happens (no sound or vibrate).
2. How do I select a specific ring for mms. I know how to select sms, but I cant figure out how to change the mms.
The profile pic for my text messages/phone book icon pulled from Facebook but hasn't changed since. I've tried syncing my account and it pulls everyone elses image but not mine. Is there a setting somewhere to change it?

In the last two days my external speakerhas stopped working but only after I change the profile to vib or silent then go back to normal. To get sound again I have to do a battery pull then it works again. So I have a feeling its a software issue. I checked all the literature on the DI that I could find and don't see A2DP listed anywhere. I searched the forums and found some info regarding the Hero and Motorola Droid, but nothing on the DI. I did read where the Hero with Sense UI had some issues with 3rd party apps and A2DP, but that the native Sense UI music app worked fine. Can someone enlighten me on A2DP and the DI please?
