View 1 Replies View RelatedI hope this hasn't been asked a thousand times.. BUT, I'm so frustrated with how low the notification is for text messages. I was able to change it for the voicemail notification (under notification sounds) but it doesn't seem to have any affect on the text one.. it only changed the voicemail one.
View 5 Replies View Relatedthe call quality isn't the best but I can deal with it.what il cant deal with is how low the volume is even on max. Any way of making it louder than it already is?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI couldn't hear the music play at max volume on my Incredible at work (noisy environment). Was disappointing coming from a raggedy BB Storm 1. But then I did something to it and the volume incresed... about 25% higher from the max setting that I had. I can now hear it while I am working. I tested this method on the Pandora. It worked every time.
Here is how:
1. Play music (from whatever app you use)
2. Hit the home key
3. Open Voice Search (Programs key if you don't have it on your home screen).
4. Done.
Is there any software/os updates to fix my cam from freezing every other picture? and my speaker phone is no louder then my ear piece (ringers & music are loud)

View 7 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know of any good music making apps for android? This is one thing I miss about my iPhone, there are a lot of very powerful music creation apps available. Anyone who's used Beat maker knows what Im talking about. So any suggestions guys?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIt seems like more and more mainstream retailers are making apps for the iPhone, whether it be Starbucks, Pizza Hut, UPS, etc. When do they start making these apps available to Android users. The Droid has sold almost 1,000,000 units in a little over a month. With several phones slated for 10' do you think that this will happen?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs it just me or are 99% of applications are very low resolution and all the pictures look very dull and fuzzy.
The new facebook update looks crisper, so the phone cleary has the capabilities but why aren't developers making apps to the highest resolution?

Despite everything I have read about the difficulty of making low latency audio apps in Android, I am giving it a shot. To start, I loaded each note in an octave into a SoundPool, and then looped through each note that was to be played on that beat and called play(). This didn't even come close to being accurate enough for me, and got especially bad if a lot of notes were being played at once.
From what I read, the only way to do something like this is to mix the audio yourself, though I am not entirely sure how to go about this. My initial thought is that for each beat, I could precompute the sound the sound that is to be played (i.e., combine the wav's), and then pass that stream to an AudioTrack when it is time to be played.
Are there any good examples out there for how to mix audio like this, or libraries I could use to do this for me? How have coders of other music apps dealt with this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've had my phone a few days and have noticed a crackling when making regular calls at anything above around 65% volume. This seems to happen only on louder parts of speech. It's pretty frustrating when I'm in public and need the volume louder.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have turned off all vibrations on my phone because I can not stand them. The only ones I can not figure out is when making a call. When dialing numbers, it has the haptic feedback for each number, and when you press send it vibrates for an outgoing call. Any one know how to turn these off?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI thought some of you might find this useful.Making A Backup of Your Sense Scenes with Titanium Backup.Taken from Titanium CAN Restore Layouts - Sense "Scenes" - xda-developers and an entry by joel.bourquard:You can backup the Sense "Scenes" by filtering for System items (MENU -> Filters) and then selecting the item named "[DESKTOP] HTC Sense 1.00".Note that after restoring such system items, a reboot is needed for the changes to take effect. In Titanium Backup, about 99% of the phone's useful data is included in the list of items. You just need to pick the right ones.Usually you use Batch mode to backup all the *user* apps, and then you backup most green *system* items one by one.
For restoring you don't need to do it one by one: just open MENU->Batch, scroll a bit and use "Restore missing apps + all system data". That should pretty much do it in 1 click - or a few more clicks if you don't have the Donate version.
When trying to make a phone call nothing happens for about a minute then a message pops up saying network busy try again later. It happens overtime I am in this area of about 90 miles!
I have full 3g bars.
Under -80 db signal
Can receive phone calls fine.
Can use the internet fine.
Tried reboot.
Tried prl update.
Tried factory reset.
Tried downgrading to stock 2.1
Had Verizon send me a new phone. fixed the issue for about a week then came back.
Verizon has not heard of this problem.
Other Verizon people even with an incredible doesn't have this problem.
Seems to be getting worse. It used to only happen in the Toledo Ohio area. Now it doesn't work for most of the Ohio area.
I have launcherPro installed and love it. I'm curious if anyone knows what pixel size to use when making custom icons for the dock.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've pulled and compiled the latest Android tree. Now I want to make changes to the Android's Browser application.
The environment in Eclipse is already set up. I tried creating the project by selecting "Build project from existing source", but it fails to build because it uses libraries not in the SDK.
Does anyone know how to import the missing source in order to build the Browser app, or even better, how to just copy the source into a separate project and use it like I was developing a regular application?
My epic is not ringing loud enough, do any of you know of an app that I can load to make it louder?
