a question for MIUI users: how do you organize your apps? I'm loving the ROM, but I'm having trouble keeping track of my apps. The ROM lacks an app, tray, correct?

I have the Jorte and I do like it but for some reason it is now linked to my Face book and puts in all my friends birthdays which I do NOT want in there and I can't seem to unlink it. But I would also still appreciate any recommendations so I can check them out to see if they work for me.

I use to use Google Apps spreadsheets to keep track of all my writers projects, but it seems that would be harder on the incredible. Basically I need something where I can know which client the project is for, which writers are working on it, a short description of the project, if it's done, been paid for, etc. Any app that could help me with this?

I know that you can do it and have them displayed on the home page, but I want to do it on the app tray itself. Can I put all my shopping apps together, my sports apps together, etc.? When you have a heaps of different apps and are always trying new ones like me it's not always easy to find that one that has a name that relates nothing to its function.Ideally I'd like some way of making categories in my app menu and and grouping all my utility icons, all my game icons etc.

I am constantly closing apps with them being restarted and I'm not opening them like Music, alarm clock, Amazon mp3 store, moxier mail, etc. The only one I actually use from time to time is music but they open on there own. I'd like to be able to create some albums and seperate my photos so I can find them easier rather than having to go through them all to find a single shot. I know albums can be created some how, becasue in the users manual there is a page that shows a screen shot of the phone. This screen shot has a list of albums that have been created.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI think I've found the battery culprit on my wife's new Incredible. We both got new Incredibles and pretty much set them up the same, except she has to use Good for Enterprise to manage her company email/calender. My phone sleeps like it should, but her phone has been awake 100% of the time since she downloaded Good. After a week of trying to figure out what is keeping her phone from sleeping, I think I have found the answer (and developed a mild case of OCD).
My question is: does anyone know how to set the sync interval for Good? The problem seems to be that it is constantly syncing, which never allows the phone to go to sleep (Up time = Awake time).
Is there any way to slide between screens while keeping my yahoo email, instant messaging, etc open. Instead of having to click on the home key and choosing the individual app?
I've chosen the social scene in my settings because it leaves a page open for IM & email but I'm wondering if its possible to customize a NONrooted phone to keep more "pages/screens" open, like facebook kept open or the web browser?
I'm getting some messages from my users that when they go to download an upgrade for my paid app, it just sits and downloading forever and does nothing.

Opened it to see if there were any visible differences, went to a station and played a song for 2 seconds, selected quit via the menu, and then "shutdown slacker" at the end. This morning I open up Spare Parts, check the battery history/partial wake usage, and Slacker is at the top, bar all the way to the right.

First of all I rooted using mejdam 10 minute root on youtube and I originally only wanted it for the flashlight and the WiFi tether, I rely on my WiFi tether now and well I want 2.2 also, I've never nandroid backup my phone or anything like that I just rooted and left it. What should I do now that I wanna install 2.2 and keep root? What would be the steps of going about this.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI love my Droid incredible. I use it to stream Pandora here at work and it works awesome over the 3g network. Even at high quality. Anyway, I was considering keeping the screen on while the phone is charging. I always keep the phone charging while it streams the music, and it would be nice to see the album art on the screen. Before I do that though, I was a little concerned about damage to the screen. Is there any danger I should worry about? There have to be people who do this all the time and never had an issue before.

If I use the built-in option to restore factory settings, will I keep root and the super-user apk? I'm not downgrading anything, I didn't do any OTA leaks; I'm curious about restoring my phone to factory settings while retaining root.

HTC Incredible Bug Stores Browser Screenshots Even After Factory Reset
I've searched for hours for this, so I apologize if it's answered elsewhere, I simply can not find a solution that works.when I start up Unrevoked for the Incredible, it says to plug my phone in. I do that, making sure it says debug mode is enabled in the drop-down pane. But the unrevoked screen doesn't change I've tried:
- mounting as disk drive
- "charge only"
- one Windows XP PC and one Windows 7 PC
- removed PdaNet and tried those options again
Nothing gets me past that screen. I tried looking for an HTC Sync app to uninstall, or setting to disable (since it says "make sure it is NOT installed"), but I wasn't able to find anything.
I have rooted with unrevoked 3 done a nandroid backup, done the unrevoked forever and sucessfully upgraded my radio to the 2.15. I downloaded sky2.5.2 and put it in the root of my sd card. when I boot into recovery and and try to install the zip from sd card it keeps saying "aborted". Is there something that I need to do before installing Skyraider? Everything is working fine on my phone, the call quality is amazing now, I just can't get up to 2.2!

I'm rooted running 4.1.1 and I'm looking for an app that sort of works like a proxy except for my own phone and just my phone's data. The goal is to see which apps are accessing the internet and what websites they are accessing and how often, ect. Basically I'd like to eavesdrop on my own apps. Is that possible? How can I do this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAm I the only one having an issue answering an incoming call if I'm on the other line? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Incredible but this is quite an issue for me. It will show the call waiting, yet I cannot answer it to save my life. I have tried the mylockphone tools which is great but whether that is activated or not, I still can't grab the incoming call. Ultimately, I let the person I am speaking to go and then have to call the other person back. What am I doing wrong? I recall my Moto Droid having the same issue.
