Anyone know of a simple organizer app to keep track of books that you've read? I used to have a group in my contacts called strangely "books" on my BB storm. In the notes section I could keep an unlimited amount of information. Now on my Fascinate the notes section is limited and unusable for my needs.

Does anyone know of a good organizer app for keeping track of your life? Appointments and such. I have the Jorte and I do like it but for some reason it is now linked to my Face book and puts in all my friends birthdays which I do NOT want in there and I can't seem to unlink it. But I would also still appreciate any recommendations so I can check them out to see if they work for me.

I use to use Google Apps spreadsheets to keep track of all my writers projects, but it seems that would be harder on the incredible. We are basically looking to develop several front end applications (mobile and websites) that can query a central application pool that'll hit our backend database to retrieve the data. Is there a name for this kind of architecture?
I have a problem on my Asus ME301T tablet with the Play Books app (I'm running android 4.2). Regular text based books work just fine, however, comic books show as blank pages. Sometimes it will load a few pages if I rotate the screen a few times.
I've tried to reinstall the app and redownload the comics without luck. It works fine on my Samsung i9000 running android 4.3.
While trying to do a massive clear out to regain space, I see that my Folder Organizer Lite is massive and keeps being updated and getting bigger. I only use it to change icons and have only created two folders. Is Apps Organizer better for such limited use? It appears a lot smaller too. Is it really smaller? Before I delete stuff I want to keep just so I can download App Organizer to try it out, will this app do what I want and be a smaller app? What are the main advantages to keep Folder Organizer?

I have tried using task managers to keep enough memory free that Android won't kill Meebo, but it usually gets killed eventually anyway. Does anyone have an idea on how to keep it open? It might happen on the first or the fourth track, but at some time during playback the music will stop and when I look at the phone there are no apps running. I've been listening to mp3's for a few days now and I've tried using both the standard Music Player and the doubleTwist player but I keep getting the same problem.
I've tried playing music from internal and external SD storages, and I don't have any other apps running at the same time. I wait a minute after the player stops before re-opening the player and playing the same track that stopped from the start and it plays through fine. I found a few posts that discussed music playback problems for the Galaxy S and other phones running 2.1, but they all seemed to relate to actual playback problems (i.e. brief silences or pops and hisses during playback) rather than the player itself stopping.
I can track the overall bandwidth usage of Android device. I wanted to know if there is any method or way, maybe any API or class that can help me track my bandwidth usage per application or process? Reason for this question? I want to stop all those processes or applications that are using way too much bandwidth usage and draining the battery.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering if there's an app or something I can use to control the chaos that is my app drawer. I keep all my commonly used apps on my Home screens, but when I need to use something less common, it takes me a bit of time to sort through the list and find what I need. I hate that some apps (Where's My Droid, Backgrounds, Gmail Notifier, etc) do little more than give me settings or other one time use functions but still clutter up my app drawer. Ideally, there could be some kind of app that allows me to make folders within the app drawer and reduce the mess a bit. I know there are such things for the Home screens, but does anyone use something similar for the app drawer?

It might be cool if there was an app that looked like a 1x1 icon on the screen but then expanded to give you what is essentially a home screen. Here's what I'd like:
a calendar with daily, weekly, monthly view
To do lists (which can be synched with the calendar and crossed off the list if completed on a scheduled day)
Reminders, alarms, deadlines
Ability to work offline (in case I'm in an area w/o service)
Ability to setup recurring appts
Lists (e.g. grocery, books to read, people who owe me $, etc.) - where I can see ALL the lists in a nice lay out and be able to prioritize within lists
All of the above should have a widget so I can see my calendar/lists from my homescreen
Ability to add comments to any of the above
Does anyone know an app that does all these things? I've tried: TooDo, Astrid, Jorte, etc. Jorte seems to come the closest so far...
New to Android; very grateful for the help! I tried searching the web and other threads but the words "free", "ebook" and "library" return thousands of results that don't help. Supposedly at my library you can get books in ebook form. The website says they are compatible with my PC, the Nook and the Sony devices. Is there a way to read these on the Android and if so, how is that accomplished? Also, I read that you can read Google books on Android phones, but when I got to Opera on my phone and go to books.google.com/m and click on a book nothing happens.
