I bought the Incredible. I love it so far. (I could do a very large review on it vs. an iphone 3g.However, I have found that my corporate email calendar is not syncing correctly. I am missing events! I have reinstalled the active sync account 3 times now and each time it resyncs different calendar items.I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if I am just doing something wrong.

I did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

Initially, my Outlook calendar items also showed up on my Incredible but those calendar items have now disappeared after about three days and any new calendar items entered in Outlook do not appear. Email works fine and contacts entered in either Outlook or the Incredible sync without a problem.

When I attempt to go to the out of office on the phone it says the following: "Unable to get your Out of Office settings from the Exchange server right now. Please try again later." View 4 Replies View RelatedI searched the Activesync threads and haven't found this issue, hopefully someone can help me out. I have Activesync working fine, able to receive and send emails, have all of my contacts and calendar items. Works flawlessly, other than the Company Directory. When I search for someone in the Global Address List using the Online Directories and then Company Directory I get the person, their email, Company and Title but no phone numbers. I have used a couple of iPhones and they return all the info and accessing the OMA page and searching returns all the info. Any thoughts? I looked at the logs on the OMA sever (also our OWA server) and show no errors in the Event viewer or the IIS logs and VZW was completely useless.
View 21 Replies View RelatedI got an incredible yesterday.Been trying to get Exchange active sync to work.The problem is that no matter what option I choose in Schedule (as items arrive, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc...), the phone always defaults back to Manual.Nothing I do will make the change stick.I've tried a battery pull, deleting the account multiple times and re-adding it.I even installed the trial version of touchdown to make sure push email was set up correctly on the server and it works perfectly in touchdown.Any thoughts?I've done about everything I can think of.I don't want to buy touchdown because this should work for free.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have the D Inc and have a question. Is there anyone to create filters in Active Sync Exchange that filters out emails so they don't hit your Inc. I have a rule setup in Outlook that automatically sends an email sent by a specific email address to go directly to my deleted items in my Personal Folders in Outlook 2007. The reason why i ask is because on my BB Storm, I setup a filter that blocked these emails from going to my BB In box. I also remember on my Moto Q with Win Mobile I always also able to setup a filter as well. I work at a help desk with a ticket tracking system, the system sends an email for every ticket opened by the help desk to all help desk employees, so my in box can fill up quite quickly. I did notice that if I have Outlook opened up on my desktop these emails do not show up on my D Inc, but when I close Outlook (Like I did last night before I went home), they are showing up today on my Inc.

Currently, I can only choose between 1 day or 3 days for downloading past e-mails on my active-sync account. This is really inconvenient since it is a work account and I would like to have access to 30 days worth of email. Does anyone know of a way to increase the days for downloading past email beyond the factory settings?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI came to the Incredible from a Blackberry, and to sync my Google Calendar/work Outlook Calendar/Blackberry Calendar required me to export my Outlook Calendar as a .CSV, delete my Google Calendar, import the .CSV to Google, delete the Blackberry Calendar, and then run Google Sync.On the Incredible, I could not find how to delete the cached calendar until this morning. Just go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, Calendar Storage, then click Clear data. Then back out to Settings, select Accounts & sync, then click Sync all.Befor someone suggusts that I can just use the HTC Sync to cut the steps down, I cannot connect the Incredible to my work PC, and even if I could, I cannot run any "unapproved" software, and work won't approve of HTC Sync since they dont see a "business purpose" to it.

-I've remove the account and recreated it, but the problem remains.
-Upgraded to 2.2 OTA
-Rooted, installed CM6 and Virtuous 2.7, issue remained with both.
-Finally installed Touchdown, but the issue remains.

View 35 Replies View RelatedI am using LN 8.5 and syncing the calendar and contacts to my Incredible. There are only certain calendar entries that are not syncing successfully to my phone. I have tried the following, with no luck:
1) Completely erase the calendar on my phone.
2) Removed the calendar entries from Lotus Notes and re-added them. One entry is a repeating entry in which I was not the creator of the entry. The other entry was a single entry in which I was not the creator.
3) Done a soft reset of my device and rebooted my PC.
My mail cal and contacts sync via my Google account.One of my Google calendars On phone only partially sync. I go to the cal on internet to verify the missing events. From inside the cal app and phone settings I run the refresh.Am I forgetting something in the phone settings?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've seen quite a few people wondering how to get the birthday's from their contacts (either google, facebook or both) into their calendars. Here is how to do it.
First, Facebook limits the way you can view their data (phone numbers, birthday's, etc.). They will allow you to view it, but not to scrape the data to transfer to another app (which is why there is no way to sync your google and facebook addressbooks). I remember a while back somebody wrote a facebook app that would sync with Plaxo and facebook shut down the users account within a day of him starting to use the program. Because of this limitation, you will need to add 2 calendars to get all your birthdays and if you have a birthday in both facebook and google, that birthday will appear twice. That being said, here is what you can do.
To add Birthdays from Google contacts to your Google Calendar.
1. Using a computer go to calendar.google.com
2. Top Right corner, click on settings/calendar settings.
3. Under Calendar settings click Calendars
4. By Other Calendars, click Browse Interesting Calendars
5. Under Interesting Calendars, select More
6. Subscribe to the Contacts' Birthdays and Events calendar.
7. Return to Calendar, your Contacts' Birthdays should now be appearing.
8. On your phone open the calendar app and go to menu/more/refresh
9. Go to menu/more/calendars and make sure the new CBE calendar is checked.
10. Back to Calendar. The birthdays should now be showing.
11. If they do not appear, try menu/refresh.
12. If they still do not appear go to menu/more/calendars/remove and remove the CBE calendar then menu/more/calendars/add and readd the CBE calendar (this is what I had to do).
*Google does not currently have a way to add reminders to this calendar. You can add a reminder to any individual birthday, one at a time, from your phone, but the reminders will not sync back to the web version of Gcal and will only work on the phone.
To add Birthdays from Facebook to your Google Calendar
1. Go to fbCal.com - Facebook Calendar Generator, and click Get your calendars now
2. In facebook click Allow/Allow/Allow
3. Under "Subscribe to Friends Birthdays" click the Google Calendar icon
4. In Google Calendar, Select Yes add this Calendar
5. In Google Calendar go to Settings/Calendars, double click the calendar with the really long complicated name, and rename to fbCal or something else you will remember, Save. Facebook birthdays should now be showing in Gcal.
6. In your phone calendar, menu/more/refresh
7. Menu/more/calendars/ and put a checkmark next to the fbCal calendar.
8. Menu/more/refresh
9. Everything should be working now.
*If you go back to the fbCal page in facebook, you can follow the same process to create a calendar for Facebook events. You CAN create regular Google notifications for both facebook calendars.
On my blackberry the facebook app would push fb events to my phones calendar. Anyway to do this on incredible?
View 10 Replies View Relatedi have htc incredible and activesync is working fine for mail and contact.but i noticed, when i look at the account setting for by exchange account, that the calendar is getting a sync error - 'synchronization is experiancing problems.not sure what to do or where i can find more info on the issue. there are some events in my phone calendar, but others are missing.could it be one corrupt entry that is stopping things? any way to drill down (on phone or server) to figure out what the issue might be?

When I set up a 1 time event on Google Calendar online (not on the DInc) and set a reminder, it sync's the reminder correctly to the HTC Droid Calendar. But if I set up a reminder on a recurring event, the recurring event syncs to HTC Droid Calendar, but the reminder is deleted on the phone.
When I use Google Calendar Sync to sync with Outlook 2007, with some events the reminders will sync correctly and others the reminder will be deleted on Outlook. Some recurring events sync the reminder, some do not.
Is anyone able to explain to me how I can sync my Outlook contacts and calendar with my Incredible?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just changed to a new desktop running Windows 7. After installing HTC Sync, it can detect my HTC Hero. The problem is, under Sync Manager, it only show "contacts" but no "calendar".
How do I make it to see the calendar. I am running Outlook 2007.
I don't have this problem previously when I used Windows XP. Both contacts and calendar synced properly before.
I need to sync my Calendar and Contacts from Outlook to the Incredible. For multiple reasons, going from Outlook to Gmail to Incredible is not an option for me. I installed HTC Sync and was able to get all 800+ of my contacts to the Incredible. But the Sync keeps failing when it tries to move my Calendar over. I've left the default setting to sync future appointments and 20 days before today. Sometimes the HTC Sync software seems to freeze, but most times it does connect to the phone but eventually gives me a timeout/failed to connect message. I've tried rebooting both PC and phone but the problem persists. Running Outlook 2007 on XP SP3 machine. Running HTC Sync 2.0.25 that came on the phone (as apparently there isn't a version for Incredible avail to d/l from HTC support yet).

All it shows are two weekly reoccuring meetings that I have every Friday. I checked last week's entries and same thing shows? I've looked into the settings and sync and everything seems right.
