I have two messages listings under share via in photos? As in two separate stock messaging programs listed when I click share in photos.... strange part is one logo seems be lower resolution than the other.... any one know what thats about?

Is there a way to remove specific entries in the default phone book on the Dinc? If you have multiple phone numbers entered for a contact, all of them appear as as option for sending a text message. I would like to remove the "send message" entry for all non-mobile numbers. I see that there is a default phone number option for each contact. Is the same option to pick a default number for messaging? If so, that would help the mobile number for sms stand out in the list. I have sent a few texts to home or work phone numbers accidentally and I am trying to idiot proof my contact lists.

1) Attach Item
2) Choosing Gallery
3) Selecting Photo
4) Clicking Send
Nothing happens after this action. However, if I directly go to the directory, and use Whats-app as the Sharing Option the photos are shared.

This is my first post on here - I tried looking for an existing thread that might answer my question, but couldn't find one.Although generally happy with my HTC Hero, one problem I'm having is that I can't seem to email photos.Say I'm looking through my photos and want to email one, I press 'Menu', then 'Share', then 'Google Mail' then enter the email address and then press 'send'. It then says 'Sending message', albeit only briefly. (I would've thought it would take longer to email a 5MB photo and that the 'Sending message' notification would stay up for as long as the email was in the process of being sent.) But there's no indication of whether the email has arrived or not. Well, it hasn't. I've tried different photos, different email addresses. but none of the photos emailed using the 'share' funtion have arrived with the intended recipient.Same with the Sticky Note app. There's an option to email the sticky note, but despite numerous attempts, none of them have arrived at the recipient's email address.

How can I pass all the XMPP information (including XMPPConnection) to the service so it can use it without twice logging in? Currently I have it setup so I am making 2 XMPP connections. This works, my service continues to send XMPP messages UNTIL I try to send a message in my main activity, then the app force closes. Im assuming because I have tried to login to the service twice.

I wanted to see if my Skype name was in my contact card, so I clicked on the People icon, found my name in the list and clicked on it. I saw my home and work addresses were given twice, so I clicked Edit, and up popped six optional contacts to edit! Three were listed with my name; one of those had my Google contact photo. The other three were my individual email addresses. This has happened before. Why the multiple choices for a contact to edit when it's only one contact (me)? (I'm using an Eris with Android 2.1.)

View 2 Replies View RelatedOne of my co-workers with the HTC Incredible asked me a question that stumped me. I'm supposed to be the Android person in the office also!
She was trying to email a couple of her calendar events to her husband. In a calendar event, if you hit menu, then share vCalendar, you get the options of Bluetooth, Mail, or Message. The problem is that the Mail option is only the Mail app and not the Gmail app. Other than going into the event and adding the email address under Guests, is she (and anyone else that would want to do this) SOL?
I mentioned just sharing the entire calendar via google calendar cloud service, but he doesn't have a smartphone and that's not how she wants to share it.
How can I find what apps have an update available? I know on the task bar it will display this, but sometimes I will pull down that and then do something else and not download the updates and then when I go back to the task bar and pull it down that update listing is gone. How can I manually find that listing again?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe biggest reason I wanted a data phone was so I could check facebook from work (blocked), or while out and about.
When I got the Incredible, I found out that all the Facebook apps do the stupid "Top News" only, and you can't change it to view all the recent new. The only way I could find to get around it was to click on "Full Site" at the bottom of the mobile site page, click on "Most Recent" when the page loaded, then often the link wouldn't actually work but if I hit "refresh" the page would reload with "Most Recent" selected and the most recent posts all listed out. A real pain, but possible.
But when I try the same thing on my Fascinate, I just get a big blank page with no status updates.
Is there any way to view the full, regular, "Most Recent" post list on the Fascinate?

I'm blown away by the picture quality but I still don't understand the best way to save/manage photo's on an online site. I know there's Picassa, Flikr and Photobucket. Has anyone tried multiple sites and determined the best tool to save pictures. My goal is to be able to easily upload them from my phone (without having to connect to PC) and share the albums online. I've done a little research and it looks like the Photobucket app might be the way to go.
