HTC Incredible :: Best Way To Backup Photos?
Jul 24, 2010All of my photos are saved to my SD card. Is it best to just plug my Dinc into my PC and backup the SD card in it to the PC or should I do this a different way?

View 5 RepliesSo a quick question that I have been unable to find the answer to, does nandroid backup photos as well? If not, where can I find them on the phones internal storage to copy to my pc? I am also using Titanium, does that backup photos?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any way I can backup my contacts so that I can save all the high res photos? because I just reapplied everyone's contact picture and so they are nice and pretty. However, when I wipe my phone and re-sync contacts with google, all of their photos are going to go back to being horribly pixelated. Can I use titanium backup or something?
and as an added bonus, is there any way i can backup everyone's custom ringtone?
The photos app on my note 3 has an option to automatically backup my photos to Google +. I don't use Google + or any other social media for that matter. I just want to make sure my photos will be private and no one else will be able to view them. I would rather jus backup to Google drive, but that doesn't seem to be an option without the use of a 3rd party app
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy Nexus, unrooted and with a locked bootloader. I want to root it, unlock it whatever and install some ROMs on it. I need to save all the texts and photos I've taken with it.
But most backup programs don't work without root/unlocked bootloader. I spent 6 hours trying to install Carbon App Sync to backup my files, but it doesn't offer me the option of saving to PC, which is what the free option is supposed to have. (I synced it with the Desktop program). I have the choice of saving to internal memory, which is great, except that the Gnex doesn't have a SD card (pushing us into using your cloud google) and so any backup I make will be wiped out when I root/unlock the bootloader.
It seems such a simple thing, but Android and all these apps have made it nearly impossible. I just want to get my texts and photos off this phone before I root it.
Can't turn on auto-backup for photos on my S4. Every time I try within the G+ app it immediately disables when I return to said page. Looked in sync settings and I see no issues. What is going on here? I just want to auto backup my photos.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf auto backup is enabled in Photos, any images I download are also backed up. This happens regardless of whether 'back up local folders' is on or off, and even if I've explicitly disabled uploads for the Downloads folder!
I only want to backup photos I take, not all the junk I download. It's clearly broken.
Rooted DInc then removed some apps like city id. I had purchased some apps before I rooted and I was curious as to first, how and where do I backup using titanium backup? Second, say if I factory reset my phone then put the paid apps back on would it still recognize that I already paid and still give new updates? Also side question, if I remove friendstream will facebook still sync with the facebook app and sync photos my phone book?
So just purchased the incredible, coming from a BB Storm. I'm blown away by the picture quality but I still don't understand the best way to save/manage photo's on an online site. I know there's Picassa, Flikr and Photobucket. Has anyone tried multiple sites and determined the best tool to save pictures. My goal is to be able to easily upload them from my phone (without having to connect to PC) and share the albums online. I've done a little research and it looks like the Photobucket app might be the way to go.

Ive tried everything I can think of but it continues to happen; how do I stop this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the camera set to save on the SD Card. However, when I take pictures it still stores it on the device memory. Why is that? Is this a known error?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI just moved 1,500 art photos from my pc to my sd card. Is there a way to get to certain photo faster, because if i need a photo thats all the way on the bottom, it takes forever to always scroll down.. also.. can i sort them all by name? it appears they're sorted by date modified.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to change a wallpaper to either the preloaded photos and wallpapers or a photo I've taken with the phone, the phone reverts to the same image - the preloaded still photo of HTC Sense. Live wallpapers will load correctly, but almost everything else reverts to that one photo. Any thoughts?
View 7 Replies View RelatedRecently received my Incredible (FINALLY!). I synced my contacts from my old phone (Omnia i910) with google so I could download them onto the Inc. When I did, I also synced up some contacts with Facebook. But, it looks like several of the contact pics are blurry / pixelated. Some of them are the Facebook ones, while others are the Google synced ones. Anyone know how to fix this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my DINC and I love this phone. One issue I'd like some help with. How can I manage and organize my photos. I'd like to be able to create some albums and seperate my photos so I can find them easier rather than having to go through them all to find a single shot. I know albums can be created some how, becasue in the users manual there is a page that shows a screen shot of the phone. This screen shot has a list of albums that have been created.

View 3 Replies View RelatedTried searching, but i think "DPI" is too short of a term for the system to search...
Anyone know what the DPI is when a picture is taken? trying to find out how big of a picture i can get developed/printed without having to try to get it edited, before it gets distorted/pixelated.
Taken with my phone and i believe its the largest setting, 1952x3264
I have read all of the out-of-the-box rave reviews of the camera quality. I am not having the same experience. It seems that most of my photos are way too vivid, pixelated, and washed out looking. I have researched all of the forums I know of. I have tried reducing MP, ISO, brightness, etc. I just can't seem to find a good balance. I love photography, but am less than an amateur when it comes to camera technology. I am the point and shoot, and pray it comes out looking good kinda guy with my other cameras. How to get better image results?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've taken several photos on my HTC Incredible and want to upload them to my PC. I tried using the Hard drive function but when I look in the file manager on my PC desktop, I don't see any folders containing the photos I just took. They're in the phone, honest, just can't upload them. How do I do it? I even downloaded a file manager (Astro?) from the droid store but it had dozens and dozens of folders and I have no clue. The manual says photos I take are stored on the sim card so I even tried taking that out, putting it into the SanDisk adapter and plugged that into a multiple card reader and still couldn't find the photos. Where the hell are they?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to save photos i take to my phone instead of SD CARD when my sd card is mounted. because i want to take some pictures for my contacts but i plan to switch sd cards in the future so i dont want to retake photos for my contacts.
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan we upload photos to this site from the phone? Like screenshot or what not? Probably the dumbest question you'll see today. If so, how?
View 2 Replies View Related1. Google Talk photos are not updated to reflect my Google Account.i.e. Some people have no photo displayed on the phone, but on my computer (in my Google Account) there is actually a photo, whether it be one the user selected or I set for them. And the photos that are there are not updated when/if someone changes it. The old one remains there.
2. Google Latitude photos do just the same. They are not updating... Anyboy experiencing similar problems, or have a fix? The photos seem to update, but slower in my contacts (People). But they don't update in the Google-based apps, which is wierd.
