Oct 10, 2010Is ther a way on the fasinate to have a text reminder like to remind u of a text like on my alias 2 it would go off every 2 minutes till u answered the text i cant seem to find this on the fasinate.

Oct 28, 2009Missed Call - LED notification for missed calls.Thanks to Android_Goes for his efforts however I (or at least my wife) wants thye same facility as she had on her previous phone which is a regular beep to remind her of a miss SMS or call.The flashing light is not so useful in a handbag or pocket.She travels on her job and regularly appointments are cancelled by SMS or by a call. She doesn't have nor wants hands free so she sometimes misses the calls.Is anyone able to point me at an app which beeps after a missed SMS and call?

Oct 11, 2010I am looking for a simple app to remind me if I have a missed call with a notification sound configured to my preferences. In other works remind me ever X min with sound Y.
I have read a lot of issues with Missed Call so I haven't even tried that one. Anyone having any luck with this app?
I installed executive assistant which does the job very nicely but it also does a LOT more that I don't need/like. I just want something light weight and simple.

Aug 20, 2010I recently got a new dinc (within the last week) and it worked fine for a while but then suddenly stopped being able to call or text. i get the cause code: 1 and error class: 3 when i try sending a text, and when i start a call i hear an automated voice telling me that my the authentication for my phone has failed. I've tried reprogramming it a few times using *288 option 1, which fixes the problem for a few hours, but then it stops working again. does anyone know a fix or why this happens?

Jun 10, 2010Still waiting on my DINC while using my WM TP2. I have one well two feathers I like to have on my DINC. I am tech support and get calls all the time: 1. On my TP2 when on a call and a new incoming call comes in I can reject that call with a 'send txt' button and it send the caller a text I pre-created to let them know I am busy. Is it possible to do this on the DINC? 2. There is a free app my TP2 uses to record all calls automatically and it helps me because I cannot not write many times when I am driving or running network in a ceiling so the ability to playback a saved call is huge. Is there a app out there anyone use to record calls on the DINC? (pls do not concern me about the legal side this is for me and me only and there are apps that can do it which I am doing now)..

Oct 23, 2010I have searched my HTC Incredible up and down but I can't find the option to set how often it rings to let you know that you have a missed call or text. Right now me phone only rings once. This is the most basic feature and there has to be a way to change but I can't find it for the life of me. Even my old razor let me set it to ring every 5 minutes or so for missed calls. I can hook my phone into my pc and stream internet off it but for the life of me I can't figure this out!

HTC Incredible :: Stop The Email Reminder Notification
Aug 30, 2010I cannot find a setting to disable this! I get emails in the middle of the night and the phone keeps notifying me every 5 minutes or so until i clear it. I am using the "Mail" app that came with the phone and it is a regular email account, nothing special.

May 6, 2010I hate calendar reminders, almost never use them, and I have my Google calendars set up to default to no reminder when I enter a new event. But on the Incredible, I can't figure out how to do that. When I enter a new event there is an option to set the reminder as "none" for that event. But under calendar settings, "none" is not listed as one of the options for the default reminder time - there's nothing above 5 minutes on the drop-down list. Anyone know if there's any way to do this? I just can't believe it's not an option and that I have to manually delete the reminder for every single event I enter into the calendar...

Jun 28, 2010I have my Incredible set up to synchronize with my work's exchange server. I have a ton of meetings, and I rely upon the phone's 10-minute reminder to play an alert sound before each meeting. This is very handy. What I don't like is that there is no way to set the frequency (i.e., the repeat) for the audible calendar event reminders. It seems like they will just keep going off forever every 5 or 10 minutes, even after the meeting has started, until I hunt my phone down, turn it on, slide the screen lock down, slide the notification area down, select the reminder, and select "Dismiss". And then when my next meeting comes up again, same issue. It was driving me crazy, to the point that I simply turned off the reminder notifications entirely. Is there any way I can tell this phone, "When there is a meeting in ten minutes, please play exactly 3 audible reminder alerts: 10 minutes before, 5 minutes before, and when the meeting time has started.

Feb 6, 2010On my previous phone it had a "full lock" feature on it that when a text message or phone call came in it would show all stars on the screen and require my password before you could answer the call or view the text message does the hero have that option or is there an app I can download?
I tried the pattern lock thing it has but if a call comes through or a text message comes through it still allows you to answer and/or view the message without entering the lock pattern..

Everytime I make a phone call or receive a phone call, the name and picture of one of my friends shows up as the last call. For instance, my dad could call me and in the phone log, it will show my dads number but my friend's name and picture. I deleted my friend's name and number from my phone and the issue still persists. If anyone has had this issue before or know how to solve this issue, please help me out!

They added it to the update before this, but then removed it again on the the up to date software. I can't find anywhere on this forum where anyone else cares about this removal. Just thought I'd see if I'm the only one who misses this feature lol. And yes, I'm aware of Handcent and Chomp but I really prefer stock.
