I accidentally merged some files in astro file manager when I was trying to move some files within the file manager and now I can't find them. I tried a search but I didn't find anything.

i recently downloaded astro file manager but when i opened it up it shows no files in any of the folders. is there something i need to do for astro to sync all the files.

I hear about this app and how it is great and you need it. I have downloaded it and I am not really 100% positive on its purpose. Is it just an easy way to delete files? Are there files I shouldn't delete?

Modified Mms.apk-Turn-off debug mode, stop application from lagging [Updated: 08/21] - xda-developers.Now travel to the saved mms.apk on your sdcard and click in it to install and click upgrade.that's it. Now you should have the stock mms.apk.

(Please no more about if we NEED a task killer) What I like about the killer on astro is that it lets me see how much memory and cpu a task or process is actually using before I kill it. I rarely use a task killer. Only when a task seems to be hanging up. It looks like Astro has the functionality I need, so I will remove Advanced Task Killer.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is for all of you who are having troubles getting your application "Wireless Tether for Root Users" to work. I personally kept getting an error on which would say "Initializing WiFi Interface: Failed." I have since been able to get it to work. Here's how.
Disclaimer: Obviously you need a rooted phone for this to work, We're in Root forums for a reason. You will also need the Amon Recovery Partition.
Steps:
1. Boot phone into Recovery by holding Volume Up + Power (End Button).
2. Wipe phone of all data.
3. Flash to the 0_3 rom, install Astro File Manager from the Market
4. Download and install file from below and place into phones SD card.
5. Install from Astro by opening it in App Manger, Open up application and enjoy!

I'm at a loss trying to get Astro to communicate with my Windows XP home computer. I downloaded the SMB module for my MotoDroid, but am not really clear on how to configure my Windows Networking settings and what exactly needs to be entered in Astro's configuration settings. Is there a guide on how to do this on the web?.. if so, I haven't been able to find it.

Now a strange thing is occurring. I installed an off market app, but I can only see its folder in Android's File Manager, not in Windows XP.
This is going to cause me serious problems because I need to transfer some files into that folder from my PC.
How can I access this App's folder in Win XP?

Instead of installing another program I would rather just use Astro's process manager, it works plenty well for what I want now.I know you can use Anycut to rename and create shortcuts to most things, but is there a way to create a shortcut to a function within a program? View 5 Replies View RelatedSet up my Incredible yesterday.Everythings working well except one weird issue.It appears that it pooled ALL of the contacts exchange contacts, Facebook phone numbers/emails, and every single gmail address I've ever emailed before.When I compose a new text, and select the little person icon to find who to send it to, it brings up a list of at least 3,000 contacts.Everything from unsubscribe email addresses to craigslist to 5 different phone numbers listed for someone off Facebook.Is there anyway to prevent this or remove it? In "People" it's correct, only shows the contacts from my Exchange server and everything looks good. But going to compose a new text (or typing a new gmail email) it brings up EVERYTHING.

I got the astro file manager to organised my pics and docs and when i cut and paste the files in astro everything goes well . However when i look back into my pics for example the pics i organised in the new folders are still showing outside the folders but can't open them but can delete them . If i look in the new folders my pics are there and everything works fines . It looks like ICS is not refreshing . Am i missing a setting somewhere ? It's a pain to delete each fake files after they are moved .

My evo wont do anything once paired to my computer via bluetooth. i paired it successfully, then later i wanted to send a file from my phone to my computer via bluetooth, (i have ftp enabled) and told my computer to expect a file and nothing. it doesn't work. also when i check the pairing profile on my computer, under services it is COMPLETELY blank, there should be some services like dial-up modem and bluetooth speakers and stuff shouldn't there be?
here is what i want to be able to do.
1. i want to send files from my EVO to my computer via Astro Bluetooth.
2. i would also like to use my laptop speakers via bluetooth, example, play Pandora on my phone using my laptop speakers via bluetooth connection
that is really all i want to do but i cant get ANYTHING working. could this be solved by rooting my evo? i really just wanna be able to do basic bluetooth functions with my phone.
I created a hidden directory/folder with astro using the .filename technique. The problem is I can't find the folder. When I mount the droid to the computer, I can see the files, so I know they are there. How can I make it so I can see them on the phone when not connected to the computer?
