so after reading all of the great things about launcher pro i downloaded the demo. My home screen froze up and my menu was all messed up. It took me an hour to work my way to the applications list to uninstall it. I couldn't scroll through my menus, my menu and back button stopped working and the only way to navigate through anything was using the track ball in landscape mode. very strange, beware of this app.

I dont knwo what the hell happened but my phone suddenly started reseting its self while on luancher pro and everything changed on it and it kept saying stopped working unexpectedly. I decided to delete the launcher from the phone and intended to download it again but now the phone keeps saying "The application HTC Sense (process com.htclauncher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." then a big button saying force close to push. I keep pushing and it keeps coming back up and I cant do a single thing about it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust wanted to report a potential issue with the Sprint HTC Hero. Me and a few friends have experienced an issue where if you:
1) install an application
2) update it or uninstall and reinstall
3) reboot your phone
Then on many applications, the launcher icon will be messed up as well as the name of the application under the icon. In many of these cases, this renders the application unusable including Google Sky and Pandora. If you then uninstall these applications and reinstall them they will work fine until you reboot your phone again. The problem doesn't seem to exist if you install the application the first time. Only does it exist if you update it and reboot or if you uninstall/reinstall and reboot. There is a fairly lengthy thread on the Android Developers mailing list regarding this. Google seems to think it is unique to the Hero itself since a stock Android device (ie: G1) doesn't have this problem. Other developers are experiencing the same thing.
I have ADW launcher & Launcher pro installed but i can't seem to find them in the apps menu. If i push home it used to show all three launchers( adw,LP & sense) but now my home button only shows my scenes.

Using LP, I only have the option to add to dock or home screen shortcuts, widgets, folders, and wallpaper; no programs. I especially want to add programs like Jorte to my dock. I have 2 micro sd cards. one a 4gig that i used in my g1 and a 8gig that i use in my hero. in my hero the 8gig says damaged sd card. it happened last night while trying to copy a bunch of stuff from laptop and it crashed during it. says i need to format it, but it just locks up phone and i have to pull battery out to restart. tried to do it from windows, but it wont even mount. so i was going to try to use my old 4gig from my g1 that i could never delete or add any files to. no luck there either. i can access it and copy files and they will be there, but then they just disapeer. i tried formating in windows and it formats and shows empty, but then everything comes back. is there a way to fix these cards like a formating program or something.

I have not been able to find posts about but I cant be the only one experiencing this. It's a bit hard to explain, but let me try. The problem is that sometimes when I recieve a message that is more than one message long it is messed up. After character 160 something is not right. The text is replaced by a part of a former message (not necesarily the last one). First time it occured I tried to factory reset and the problem disappeared, but problem with market made med factory reset recently. Now the problem is back and of course I could try to factory reset again and hope for the best, but its getting a bit tiresome.

I can only "Uninstall". Also the icon doesn't show up in my list of apps. Anyone else having problems with the market today? Guess I could try downloading another app to see if that works. If not, it is a Market problem and I'll just be patient.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAny one else notice that when using launcher pro and pinching the homescreen to get the previews, there is an initial lag at first? After a couple of pinches on the homescreen it speeds up and becomes more smooth tho, but the initial pinch is always laggy for me. I was thinking it could be something in the memory settings of the LP preferences, however upon playing with the settings I come up empty.

Decided to give it a try after hearing rave reviews from many. Downloaded Launcher Pro from the market today and it installed but won't open. There's no icon in my app list for it either. I can find it by going to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps but the only option there is to uninstall.
Rebooted and on the homescreen I had an option to use Sense or Launcher Pro so I chose Launcher Pro. The bottom dock was there but some of my previous icons were still on the homepage and I couldn't hold/drag them off the screen? Also, still nowhere to interface the program for options. Am I missing something obvious or what the heck?
So i downloaded the Sirius XM app from their website, then used Astro to find the apk in the downloads folder. I was able to install it and launch it from there.
I cant not see it under all apps though even though it has been installed and works. I can only access it through Astro.
How do i get it to show up where all of the other apps are located, do i need to move the file with astro?
now i cant see any of the paid apps, is there a way to fix this?

Also, EVERY 720p video I shoot has choppy playback when played back on the EVO. I have to use the back button and restart it for it to be okay, which you shouldn't have to do. Any suggestions?
