Sep 7, 2010There are two apps I used to have installed that I cannot find for the life of me. is a widget/sliding tray/multi app launcher - I believe it was 4x1 but could hold more than 4 apps.The other was a bottom dock that also slid but was not part of a complete home replacement app, just a stand alone dock to launch multiple apps.

Apr 28, 2012I'm using Apex Launcher with the Tablet ModUI on my E4GT (Sprint GS2) and for some reason I don't have anything related to "dock" in Apex Launcher.
I have dock options, and a dock in ADW and Nova. I prefer Apex just because I can have 8x8 as compared to 7x7 in Nova, and ADW makes the icons too little.
With all this screen space, I can tolerate not having a dock, but I still want one. Where are dock settings? Maybe I turned them off or something.
The weird thing is I don't see anything related to the dock. Lyk "scrollable dock" or "dock pages" or anything. It's as if Apex Launcher doesn't have a dock.
Here are some screen shots of the Apex Settings and home screens. The tiny icons are ADW and the ICS icons are Nova. The screen with no Dock is how Apex looks.
I even uninstalled and re-installed the app.

Aug 3, 2013The other night, something updated on my HTC One (running Venom with GoLauncher EX) and the icons got all jacked-up. Some Google apps reappeared on the dock, a widget got pushed on top of another, etc. It looks like when the Google apps updated, they felt the need to reinstall themselves on the dock -- not sure, but that's not my main question.
When all of this happened, I lost the "grid" looking icon that will show All Apps and I'm not sure how to get it back. At this time, I can only see the apps I've put on my "home" pages, and in order to see All Apps, I must do an "add" and browse that way.
How do I get the all-apps grid thing back?
General :: HTC Sense 4.0 / HTC One X - Transparent Dock With Standard Launcher
Apr 12, 2012I have searched up and down the web but can't find a way of making the HTC Sense launcher transparent WITHOUT changing launcher.
I have the HTC One X so if I use a different launcher now (ADW, Go etc) I get my desktop shorterned by the "Menu" on screen button.
How I can stick to the standard launcher but have a transparent dock?

May 15, 2014I am a galaxy s2 gt-i9100 user and i use touchwiz launcher in landscape mode. I have edited my launcher to look like a tablet for my s2 but i wanted to know how to hide the dock from the launcher or move the app drawer icon on top right or bottom right. Is there a way to do this? Also i dont want to install a different rom or launcher.

Jul 19, 2010After receiving the M2 car mount, I have noticed a troublesome problem. When the phone is docked, and I hit the top unlock button, and then attempt to swipe down, I get either no response, or occasionally it will unlock the screen. If I use my other hand to hold the phone, it will unlock normally. Obviously, this will not work while driving down the road. I have seen on other forums either this EXACT problem, or a problem with the device laying on it back. Also, if I do get the phone to unlock, navigating while in the dock is very erratic. I'm curious if anyone is having a problem with their phone while in a car dock, or lying on a surface and will not unlock without holding it with your other hand.

Sep 2, 2010Is there any way to enable car dock mode on an Incredible? I don't mean just starting the car dock app, but having it automatically start when you put the phone in a dock. I know it works on motorola phone with magnets. I've been using Custom Car Home and it's supposed to take over the Home button when you're in a car dock, but doesn't work on the Incredible since we don't have fancy magnetic docks. I read on the EVO board that the new HTC car dock for the EVO puts it in car dock mode and was wondering if there was a way for us to enable this too. Perhaps a special USB charging cable to use in the car that sends some sort of signal?

Jun 27, 2010I am well aware of a few threads on this topic but I just got off the phone with HTC. The rep asked me to do a hard (factory) reset of the phone and see if that resolves the problem. I am not ready to do that at this point, and he said there was nothing he could do unless I was willing to reset first. In fact, he said they didn't have a lot of complaints about this at this time.So, please call HTC (or email them) if you have this issue. If enough people do, they will "look into it" and if the problem is similar to the EVO issue, maybe it wont be long for the software fix to come.I am not willing to do a factory reset because I have put too much time into getting my phone where I want it to be and this problem only effects when I try and use in car NOT plugged in (which I rarely do).

Apr 30, 2010Basically, the phone screen is unresponsive when your not holding it or any time it's not grounded. If I put it in the car holder and then touch the screen, its very sporadic.I have compared it with the droid eris and the Moto Droid under the same conditions at the same time, and it performs flawlessly. I have tried the incredible with the screen protector and without.If I take it out of the dock and hold the phone in my hand, it works great again.It's not just the car dock either. If I set it on certain surfaces and just touch it with one finger it does the same thing. The car dock itself has nothing to do with it. I've narrowed it down to a grounding issue. I've also tested 3 Incredibles and ALL of them do it. I am going to post another video showing it on top of a piece of styrofoam which also creates the problem. It's definitely more widespread then just a few phones. Basically, If the phone has very little ground it is unresponsive. If you ground it, either by holding it or placing it on a surface that is grounded then it solves the problem. If you plug anything into it that is grounded it solves the problem.
