Did we ever find a fix to keep the phone from vibrating while in a phone call when you get a message?
I don't mind a beep in my ear, but the vibration needs to go.

On my Samsung Moment, a lot of times when someone is calling me, the phone will start vibrating or ringing as it should but the screen does not turn on showing the caller id until 4 or 5 rings, if at all. It makes answering calls before it goes to voicemail difficult.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
Does anybody know how to turn off reject call with message from phone call display?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was goofing around my phone and i found out how to delete a message and a call with out deleting all of it like when you go to call log and click clear it removes every call or in your message t removes the whole thing instead of just one. well to delete only one call number go to the number and click & hold it until a little window pops up and it will give you a menu for that number go to the last one remove call this will only delete that one call. same thing works for the SMS message just open up the conversation you were having with the person and click and hold the part you want to delete and and a menu pops up and click delete. Hope this helped out the people that didn't know about this.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've been having this sound issue that keeps driving me crazy. At least once a week my phone will go silent (I guess that's one way to put it) on me.
My media volume, notification volume and call volume are all at max, but I get no sound out of my phone when a call or message, etc. starts up on my phone. I know it's not any option I'm accidentially hitting on my phone because I can literally get off of one call where the volume worked fine when my phone rang and two minutes later it's messed up. A simple reboot fixes this issue, but it's annoying having to do that. At first I thought it might be rom specific, but it has happened with just about every rom I can remember using.
Has anyone else run across this happening?
Does anyone know a way to call a phone number that is in a calendar entry on the Incredible? This is a feature I used 10 times a day on my blackberry and I can't believe there wouldn't be some way to do it on the incredible. I am a sales rep and when I set up an appointment I put the name of the office and then I type the phone number right next to the name. When I opened the entry on my bb I could then click on the number to initiate a call. The incredible doesn't seem to recognize the phone number as anything different than text..

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs the title says my phone will not vibrate at all. No haptic feedback when entering phone numbers, none for texting, and none for notifications or calls. I've tried everything I can think of. I've tried going back to the original 2.1 update vs the OTA update. I've tried a soft reset, and also going into the phone menu to do a factory reset. I've even tried the sound manager app trick and still no luck Any ideas on what might be the problem?

I reset and noticed that there was no vibrate on start up. Once booted, still not vibrate - but then suddenly it all came back. I'm so confused.
When I set my phone to vibrate, it will only vibrate when I get a phone call, not when I get a text or email. I saw some solutions for the Droid, but not the Droid X. I am not sure if the solutions are the same. Also, when it is on ring, it rings and vibrates, not just rings. Any suggestions? My main concern it getting it to vibrate when I get messages, I am not too concerned about the ring/vibrate thing.

My gmail password is right and it still won't sign me in.it take a whole minute to call anyone on my phone list, I miss calls, when I go to answer my phone after two rings it ends call. And last but not least, my assigned ring tones don't play for my contacts, it only plays the default. I have tried everything. I'm wondering if i should take it to Verizon and get a new one.

Is this actually how Motorolla designed it's phone, or am I making a mistake? I receive texts/emails much more than phone calls, but am not always in an environment where I can have my ringer going off. What is the default message in the "Edit default message" used for? Right now it says "I am busy right now. I will call you later".
Also, what is the "Edit message" field for? Right now it says "Edit text message before sending". Not sure why these text message sounding settings are in Phone settings.
New to these forums as I got my cliq 1 week ago.
I normally keep my phones on vibrate in order to be discreet of any incoming calls or notifications at work. However, when I am talking on the phone and I get a text, the phone vibrates. Is there a way to make the phone just beep or play a sound instead of vibrating. I must admit, it can freak you having the phone buzz in your ear.
For some reason my phone has stopped vibrating completely. I've turned on/off the vibrate settings and the phone but still, nothing is happening.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn the past few weeks a problem has started with my email on the Incredible. In the very first slot I get a weird/strange email. It is not in bold suggesting that I have already read this email. I will delete it and then with the very next refresh there it is again....the same one. That has been going on for a few weeks. Then three days ago it advanced to where I would delete the next three message following this weird one (these three are from normal senders that I recognize). Again, I would read those three and then delete them, along with the one weird one. Again with a refresh the four would be back. I went into the Verizon store yesterday with a few issues and he got the phone to stop doing this.....that is until this morning when again I am getting that first weird email. I wish I had asked him what he did to get it to stop so I could do it myself. I just went to the store here in my town and the place is jam packed, which is usual. I don't want to wait an hour just for this problem. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do?

I've cleared the browser cache and I've also removed some apps but the error is still there and I can't delete any new apps.
Someone on another post posted that under the new update you can no longer use the GPS and take a phone call. I immediately thought this guy was a dumb ass but to my surprise he was correct. Once you take the phone call the data connection is lost.So my question is which really dumb engineer thought this was a good idea? Seriously that is about the dumbest thing I can think of! Like people dont take phone calls while trying to find their way to someplace?
