I did a reset on my phone to hopefully fix the lag. I was getting after froyo came out, but now I cant find the favorites widget to put on my screen. This is a bummer if its gone because I used that a lot.

Haven't seen this posted anywhere. Anyone know how to rearrange the favorites on the 3x3 widget?They seem to go in alphabetical order but I cant find a setting to rearrange.Even my old crappy LG Dare could do this.

For example, the Favorites widget appears on the 2nd screen of the "HTC" scene. I've gone through all the widgets and programs and cannot find this.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI entered a friend into my contact list and added him to my Favorites widget. I want to remove him from my favorites widget now, but not from my contacts list. How do I do this? It keeps deleting the entire contact. I've edited the contact and removed him from Favorites group and I've gone into People, Groups, & removed the contact from Favorites but when I go to my contact list, he doesn't show up anymore. Why?! If I go to the Favorites widget and add a new favorite then the contact shows up again. But if I just open up people and scroll down-no contact showing up!

When you got to People and then to Favorites and long press a contact, the only options are:
- Call Mobile
- Edit Contact
- Delete Contact
- Send contact as vCard
I don't see the "default action" inside the edit contact menu. Those were the steps providing in the ERIS forum and it seemed to work for ERIS users, however, I don't see any such option in the Incredible.
This is just a little pet peev wondering if someone has an answer. How do i update the pics that are pulled down from facebook into contacts and the favorites widget. My friends have changed photos and they don't seem to change on the phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have one GMail account synced to my EVO. When I open up 'People' all my contacts I added through GMail are there. Looks great.
However, when I go to the Favorites widget and click + to add a contact to the widget, I get a list of pretty much everyone I've ever sent an email to through my GMail account. I only want my real contacts to show up there, I don't need the dude listed there that I sold my blender to on Craigslist from 5 years ago.
Anyone know how to remove or reorganize the widget for favorites?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo a colleague of mine picked up the Droid Eris and while I find the Sense UI a bit heavy - I did love the look of the desktop widget that manages favorites from dialer on screen as a speed dial. Have been searching in Market for a couple of days and don't find! Searched here and only find instructions for adding shortcuts to contacts onto the desktop (which I guess could work, but doesn't look anywhere near as cool!). Anyone heard of anything good?

I turned it off and then wasn't able to turn it back on, so I took it off the charger (wall outlet) and held down the power button. Phone turned back on but was in setup mode, everything was gone, settings email programs, everything. I decided to restart it one more time, everything came back.
View 4 Replies View RelatedNot sure if this is because of the ROM I'm using or because I'm rooted, but I can't do a factory reset on my phone. If I try it, the phone reboots and locks into a boot loop. I can pull the battery, but then it boot loops again. I've basically got to boot into recovery mode and reflash a usable ROM or backup to get the phone working again. Is this because I'm rooted or is this because of the ROM I'm using (Skyraider)?

I have task killer advanced running and kill all apps. my phone is really slow when i switch home screens with the track pad as well..
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I woke up to my phone play a ringtone over and over. I couldnt stop the ringtone and it wasnt from an alarm. It was sitting at home screen just playing this ringtone over and over. So I turned the phone off and went back to sleep. When I turned the phone back on after I awoke it hard reset itself and made me start anew. No apps i downloaded, no ringtones or wallpapers except those on my SD card. Luckily I used backup assistant to get my contacts back but wtf?
Has this happened to anyone else? The only app Ive downloaded recently is ourgroceries which I linked with my wife. the phone doesn't change settings, only needed Internet access and something else trivial. I am very very careful with apps I download.
Again, anyone had this issue? Any reason why this happened?
Why a Froyo factory reset really isn't (plus, a fix for upgrade issues) | Android Central Its in reference to the X but I am going to factory reset tonight and see what happens."If you're one of those folks who is less than pleased with your Droid X after the Froyo update, this one's for you. Android Central Forums member Fabrian was at wit's end, and even talked of ditching his X (blasphemy!) because of the random bugs, general weirdness, and plain old unsatisfactory performance of his unit since the update.His last-ditch effort and ingenuity seems to have paid off. The secret? He has completely disabled the Froyo feature that restores data from previous installs. It's really just a matter of turning off the automatic restore feature before logging back into your Google account. It's a little odd that "Automatic Restore" is still checked by default, even when "Back up my data" isn't, but there you go.The method isn't too painful and does require one more factory reset, but the payoff appears to be a much smoother experience. Makes sense, too restoring data from Eclair to Froyo probably isn't a very good idea even if it is convenient.
We've verified it here, a hard reset in Froyo isn't really a hard reset, as things come back by themselves. Follow Fabrian's instructions, and you will have a pristine Froyo installation on your Droid X (or Nexus One -- Sense on Froyo has no setting for this that we could find). Any troublemaking leftovers will be no more, and won't get downloaded and installed automatically again. If you're being plagued with myriad tiny bugs in your Droid X after the update, give it a try! If you do it through the phones own settings whats the difference? Or should you just do it under the Clockwork recovery to be safe? Either way you wont lose root right?

I know you can set the thing to pop up all of the contact info or one number or an email or whatever, but it doesn't really work well for driving. I'd like to tap the person and have a list of their phone numbers show up from which, one can be selected and dialed. Is there another app or widget that might do this?
