Aug 16, 2010I entered a friend into my contact list and added him to my Favorites widget. I want to remove him from my favorites widget now, but not from my contacts list. How do I do this? It keeps deleting the entire contact. I've edited the contact and removed him from Favorites group and I've gone into People, Groups, & removed the contact from Favorites but when I go to my contact list, he doesn't show up anymore. Why?! If I go to the Favorites widget and add a new favorite then the contact shows up again. But if I just open up people and scroll down-no contact showing up!

Dec 3, 2009Anyone using A Online Radio wondering how to delete stations from the favorites tab? There have been multiple posts about this on the developers site.I read their instructions multiple times on their forum post and after 2 days of thinking about it, I finally figured it out.They say that you're supposed to scroll through the list, and as you scroll, the entries will highlight. Then you can select delete from the menu you get from the droid's menu button.After many failed attemps at normal drag scrolling with my finger, I finally thought of trying to scroll with the direction pad on the hard keyboard.Open up to the keyboard and scroll down with that dpad, and items will highlight. You can then delete from the menu.Not hardly the best interface. check boxes and a select all would be much easier. But hey, at least now I can manage the favorites tab.

May 5, 2010I've looked and seen people have what seems to be the same issues, my FS was working fine last night then today it wasn't, it stopped last night at about 10:37, even after talking to VZW they had no idea and said that I was the first person to have this issue (shrugs shoulder) I don't believe that but after trying everything I can think of, and then having to do a master reset again it fixed it for a sec but then it's doing it again?

May 1, 2010Is there a way to uninstall HTC "friend stream?" I may have set it up originally, but I have no use for it. All I use is facebook (and I prefer the fb app). Uninstaller doesn't work, and it gets around task killers by auto-rebooting.

Sep 1, 2010Well this has been a bad day for Android social networking for me. First Peep stops working this morning (known issue) now, friend stream has stopped working. The widget won't update, and when I open the app it fc. I've tried doing a battery pull as well as removing then re-adding Face book (twitter is obviously been removed). Still no success. Any ideas?

Jun 15, 2010Over the last couple of weeks, I've had some problems with Facebook for HTC (between contacts and FriendStream). Through performing some fixes, I've had to remove my Facebook account from the phone, and set it up again twice. Well tonight, after removing the account, I could not get ANY of my contacts to show up at all. This includes my regular Google contacts (not just the ones synced with FB. It looked like the phone was trying to sync and never loading when I opened the people app.Well, this went on for about an hour with no luck, even with rebooting several times. I finally decided to setup my Facebook account again. Sure enough, once I setup the FB account, all of my contacts showed up fine with no syncing issue. The problem is, now when I go into a contact that has no FB contact link, press the "link" icon on the top right, select Facebook, it lists multiples of ALL of my Facebook friends. Almost as if each time I setup my Facebook account again, it just re-imported all of my FB friends without replacing them.How can I delete these duplicates, or even all of my Facebook contacts / friends from my phone, and re-import them? Anyone else have this issue? It seems that removing my Facebook account from my phone not only causes problems with all of my regular Google contacts, but also doesn't delete the Facebook friends left behind on the phone.

Jul 9, 2010So I've recently started using Launcher Pro beta on my Incredible. Now since you can't use sense widgets within Launcher Pro you automatically lose the clock and friend stream widget etc. Losing the clock has been a non issue thanks to Beautiful widgets but I can't find an app that mimics the friend stream look and/or functionality. Right now I've just got the twitter app and the facebook app together eating up a page but it's less than ideal. Does anyone know of an app that even comes close to replacing friendstream?

May 7, 2010For the favorites widget, is it possible to have just the phone numbers associated with the favorite person pop up as an option. I know you can set the thing to pop up all of the contact info or one number or an email or whatever, but it doesn't really work well for driving. I'd like to tap the person and have a list of their phone numbers show up from which, one can be selected and dialed. Is there another app or widget that might do this?

May 12, 2010After playing with my Incredible for many many many hours, just found a really sweet trick.In the favorites widget i have people with multiple numbers(cell, phone), and when you click on that person it calls the primary number, but last night i found that if you click the actual name of the contact(right under the actual pic) a detail properties pop up for that contact and from there you can callsmsemail the person via other numbers.now back to looking for more cool things

When you got to People and then to Favorites and long press a contact, the only options are:
- Call Mobile
- Edit Contact
- Delete Contact
- Send contact as vCard
I don't see the "default action" inside the edit contact menu. Those were the steps providing in the ERIS forum and it seemed to work for ERIS users, however, I don't see any such option in the Incredible.
