HTC Hero : Remove Voicemail From Favorites?
Jul 28, 2010So I've upgraded now to 2.1 at long last (Thanks for the wait Orange), now starting the task of styling the layout, But one thing that is bugging me, is my favorites widget displays Voicemail as a quick link. I want to see the happy smiling faces of my contacts first not the ugly represetation of a tape and a letter.
Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I've tried going into people and editing the group, but its not listed in there.
HTC Tattoo : Way To Remove People From Favorites
Jun 3, 2010I can't seem to remove people from my favorites.
I've tried going to the favorite group under "People". I remove the people and they are removed. I check the People widget on my home page and they are gone. I wait 15minutes, check again and they are back in favorites.
I've tried going to the individual contacts and removing them from favorites. Same problem.

Oct 19, 2010I have one GMail account synced to my EVO. When I open up 'People' all my contacts I added through GMail are there. Looks great.
However, when I go to the Favorites widget and click + to add a contact to the widget, I get a list of pretty much everyone I've ever sent an email to through my GMail account. I only want my real contacts to show up there, I don't need the dude listed there that I sold my blender to on Craigslist from 5 years ago.

May 1, 2010Haven't seen this posted anywhere. Anyone know how to rearrange the favorites on the 3x3 widget?They seem to go in alphabetical order but I cant find a setting to rearrange.Even my old crappy LG Dare could do this.

Aug 16, 2010I entered a friend into my contact list and added him to my Favorites widget. I want to remove him from my favorites widget now, but not from my contacts list. How do I do this? It keeps deleting the entire contact. I've edited the contact and removed him from Favorites group and I've gone into People, Groups, & removed the contact from Favorites but when I go to my contact list, he doesn't show up anymore. Why?! If I go to the Favorites widget and add a new favorite then the contact shows up again. But if I just open up people and scroll down-no contact showing up!

Apr 28, 2010How can I rearrange favorites and edit the default action for each favorite?
When you got to People and then to Favorites and long press a contact, the only options are:
- Call Mobile
- Edit Contact
- Delete Contact
- Send contact as vCard
I don't see the "default action" inside the edit contact menu. Those were the steps providing in the ERIS forum and it seemed to work for ERIS users, however, I don't see any such option in the Incredible.

I accidentally assigned "email" to one of my favorites, and now whenever I press her, it wants to send her an email. How do I change what I set as her default action?

Have been searching in Market for a couple of days and don't find! Searched here and only find instructions for adding shortcuts to contacts onto the desktop (which I guess could work, but doesn't look anywhere near as cool!). Anyone heard of anything good?

Everything was fine until I now implemented Threads where Exceptions are being thrown and caught.
You probably already have seen, that I played with the Looper Class, but honestly I don't know how to make it work. Is that the right approach? You also can see that I already store a reference of the ApplicationContext in my Controller. Shall I do it with the ActivityContext as well and than make the Toast from this ActivityContext? (But I heard that this is not a good practice in terms of performance)

Jul 26, 2010On the applications screen, (the one which you drag up from the bottom of the home screen), is there any way to create folders there and re-organise the position of apps? I know that you can create folders on the home screens, but this isn't what I want to do. I would love to be able to create a folder that I can dump all of the programs I will never use but which Sony will not allow me to delete, (you know the ones - moxier etc!!)

Apr 21, 2012The only thing that gets on my nerves is this "game of the day"widget that appears on my home screen every other day. If I ckick it, it takes me to the App store. I have to manually remove it which bothers me. I have no idea how to stop it. is this some official Google thing, that's part of Android?
