I got my outlook to push to my phone but i can only see the inbox folder in the HTC mail widget. is there a way that i could specify a different folder or view all of them without having to go in and select a folder? or a different app/widget?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I hooked up my work email to my DInc Exchange. It works fine, can send and receive emails, calendar, etc. The only problem is it doesn't automatically update the inbox when a new email comes in. I went under Settings > Send & Receive > Set download frequency. It is set to "Manual". I change it to "As items arrive" and then exit out. Go back in and its back to "Manual".
View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed b-folders (a password manager) and it allows for a wireless sync between the DI and desktop, so i connected to the wireless network at work for the first time for the sync.Everything went well, except I stopped getting push mail from Exchange.I remembered a thread about Exchange not syncing over a wireless connection, so I turned off the wireless.My other e-mail accounts work fine, as do syncing calendar and contacts for exchange (both ways).I can send mail from the DI on the Exchange account, but I get no mail on the phone from the Exchange account.I have removed the battery, resaved the account information for the Exchange account, but still no mail received on the phone.I am at my wits end trying to figure this out.the problem seems only to effect incoming mail from the Exchange server on the phone, all the other info from the server comes through fine (even 5 minute alarms for upcoming appointments).Any ideas from the cloud?

I cannot seem to find settings for either app that allows me to control when and if new email is downloaded to the phone.

It will sync to outlook but it won't sync to his phone if he adds the appointment inside of outlook.

They change, but show up twice on my DINC: same event, same time, same place, etc., but only once via PC.I am trying to solve and here's a question: when you go to calendar > menu > more > Calendars > what choices do you have and what do you have checked? I have "'My Calendar"; "Exchange"; and "PC Sync" and I feel like I should only have one checked, but don't knwo which one. I am new to Droid and want to stay, but this is killing me.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI searched but couldn't find this problem. I use the Google Sync software on my PC to sync Outlook 2003 to my Google Account. I use the 2 way sync option.
When I create an appt. on my Inc. it shows up in my Gmail calendar fine but when the gmail calendar syncs to outlook that appt does not show up in the outlook calendar but goes directly to my "deleted items" folder and shows an appt date of 12/31/1997 no matter what date it is scheduled for.
Appts made from outlook synced to Google work fine and vise versa. Only appts made on my phone have this issue. I hope this makes sense and any help would be appreciated since I love the fact I never have to connect my phone to my PC.
I have moved from the Motorola Droid to the HTC Incredible. I had no problem connecting my work e-mail to the Motorola Droid but when I try to connect it with the HTC Incredible it doesn't work. I am using all the same information as the Motorola, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the Incredible?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the option if I want to convert my main mail account to an Exchange account or keep it as an IMAP account. So far I have the phone setup with my IMAP and it's pretty decent, messages appear as unread if I've read them on another computer, I can switch to different folders I've setup, etc. The only thing is that it checks mail every 15 minutes (i could change it to 10 but the polling technique is still used). Is Exchange ActiveSync any better in Android or is it buggy? I'll switch if the push email really is instant and non buggy.

I know that I can use the gmail app with my gmail account. I am already going to sync the calendar and contacts.
If I choose to use the HTC Mail app for my gmail (setup as exchange), do I need to set gmail (when logged in on the web interface) as IMAP? I know to use the m.google.com as the exchange server.
I am unable to see exchange email more than a day old. I go to Menu>More>Settings>Send&Receive>Download Past Mail and I only see 1 day listed. No other options are available.I've already removed the account and added it back, but I still only have the option to download 1 day past mail.Anyone know how to change this so I can see more than 1 day? I have the personal data plan and I'm pointing to our companies OWA server. iPhone users of the same settings can see well past 1 day. Is there any way to correct this or is it a bug of the phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my Incredible on April 29th and setup my Exchange email account and was able to send and receive with no problems. Contacts and calendar synced with no problems. Everything was fine for about a week then I noticed I was no longer receiving emails. I could send with no problems and contacts and calendar still synced ok, I just could not get emails using wither WiFi or Verizon's network. I went into the account settings and activesync settings and see an error message that said "error occurred on the computer running the exchange server". Deleting and recreating the account on the Incredible seems to work, but for only about 7-10 days then right back in the same boat. I do not think the phone is the issue as I had a Droid and had the almost identical problem.
On the Droid I did not see the error message but I would stop receiving emails after about a week. I have tried Touchdown and it's almost the same issue, except that the error is something along the lines of "mail queued on the server". Again, removing and reinstalling the account in Touchdown resolves the issue for about another week. I called our corp help desk folks and it was a wasted phone call. All I got from them was we don't support mobile devices via activesync and wouldn't talk about it anymore, so I am leaning toward something on our mail server causing the issue. My only problem with that answer is that we also have other users here with iPhones and Windows mobile devices and they are not having any problems, and they are also connected via activesync.
Everytime i send an email from my work gmail account on my evo i get a copy of the sent email in my inbox in my outlook on my computer. Is there a setting to turn this off?

The issue I have though is I can send messages, my calendar syncs, but for some reason not my inbox. Has anyone else come across this?

I can send and receive email through Exchange and I can see emails in my Inbox, the problem is I never keep any emails in my inbox, they always go into separate folders and those ones I can't see. I can see and switch to the different folders but there appears to be nothing in them.
I'm using Samsung Email simply because it came on the phone and seems to be able to do gmail, hotmail and exchange all in one.
Android 2.1, unrooted. Anyone come across this issue or have any ideas?
I've had my phone for a month now (Vodafone in UK) and have pretty well mastered most things except my email.I set up the gmail account as required and access that via an app no problem. The main email account I set up to access my Messenger Live email account. This was a doddle as I just entered my address and password and it set up immediately. I should have known it wouldn't be that simple! It downloads and sends my mail just fine but after a few days all mail disappears so that I have no record of it's ever having been there. It's still all there on my Live account when I log in via my computer.
What am I doing wrong? I've checked every setting I can but no joy and no reference to this problem on any fora.Another clue may be that despite deleting emails I've received on my Wildfire they are still on my Live account as though nothing has happend. Sounds as though it's not syncing properly but what settings can I check?

I have some messages skip my gmail inbox (like facebook notifications or weekly coupons), so I have set labels to fix that! Keeps a clean inbox. BUT I want to still be notified of Facebook emails on my phone without having to specifically look for them. Say someone tags me in an unflattering picture, and I'm away from my laptop? I'd like to know right away! I have different needs for my phone and my laptop Does anyone else have these problems? Or...solutions?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm running into some issues with the HTC Mail client and I'm about ready to throw fits.I've configured my work IMAP email account, but it's not pulling any emails down to the inbox.I get the 'No mail' message when there is most definitely mail there.I can send from the account just fine, and the sent items feed back to the server w/out any problems.I've tried deleting the account and reconfiguring same result.Any way to start from a clean slate in the HTC Mail client w/out wiping the entire unit? I have configured another user's phone (same exact phone) on the same email system and theirs worked as expected adding to the frustration!
