I recently rooted my incredible and flashed a new ROM (im not sure what its called, but it makes everything blue) and i recently realized that i cant download anything from the marketplace, over wifi or 3G. im not really sure what to do. do you think if i restore a nandroid backup it might work?

View 3 Replies View RelatedRooted my droid X using the one click method, and since doing that I can't download ANYTHING from the android marketplace. all that happens is that I get the orange triangle icon in the task bar that says "Program A" can't download.
I have 'unrooted' my phone using the same method and nothing seems to help. I also read that there was a link to google talk and that I would need to log into google talk's app and it would be fixed. Well, google talk won't let me log in, says it can't connect.
Note that all other Internet features, and google voice still work great. Any ideas?
I have had a problem with the android marketplace on my HTC tattoo since i got it at christmas where i can't download any apps and the progress just stops at 'starting download' -- i have tried factory resets, new google accounts, wifi and network etc. etc. but it still doesn't work. i have been looking at google help and some people have solved the problem by simply signing into the google talk application that comes standard on most android phones. my tattoo doesn't have google talk though and i have no way of getting it. So can anyone provide me with a link to download the file off a file-sharing website such as rapidshare?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI finally (after some trouble) rooted my Captivate earlier today. Since then, I have not been able to download any apps from the Android Marketplace, either paid or free.
The apps get to the stage of "Starting Download" but just wind up hanging there infinitely.
Is it likely that something occurred during or indirectly related to the rooting itself that's caused this problem, or is this just as likely coincidental?
This morning when I checked my phone, it was unable to update or download anything from the marketplace. So all the apps that have automatic uploading are dead. I know since the second 2.2 build my phones been really glitch telling me I am not logged in or can't connect.

When i try to search for barnacle wifi tether in the marketplace nothing shows up? Also internet nor marketplace work without wifi, texting does though. I have read that Verizon put some sort of restrictions on it, but I'm not savvy enough to understand it all. My daughter is in the Coast Guard and we both have DInc's. I've been messing with it and it seems like my mobile network isn't connecting correctly. I had to power down the phone earlier because it froze to black screen and I couldn't escape out of it and ever since then its been problematic.
