HTC Incredible : Can't Clear GV From Status Bar / Way To Erase

Everything was fine (since 4/28) until yesterday....all of a sudden, there is a notification in the status bar for 2 new voice mails- I am, and have always used google voice for my voicemail - the notificaiton says to call my gv number, which is unusual, because it usually says that one of my contacts left a voicemail - anyhow, I have no new gv messages - went online and deleted all of them, also powered on and off the phone, even removed the check mark in settings to notify in the status bar......can't get rid of this this notification....there is no "clear" option, as you usually get when checking notifications from the menu button
Even calling my gv number manually, entering my pin, and hearing "you have no new messages" doesn't remove the notification from the status bar....this is very weird. Anyone else exp something like this from gv ?

Call me slow, but I just realized that the Friend Stream widget updates your status, not posts to your Wall. Also, I've been so confused by FB messaging that I wasn't even sure these were two different things anymore. Whatever... Anyway, what I'm wondering is, is it possible to clear your status using the FS widget? I've noticed that after using it to post a comment, that status is still shown as active until I manually clear it (or post a new one) later. Or do you have to actually go to FB and clear it?

I'm looking for a clear status bar that I could install over the latest cyanogen rom. I had one from fadelight, but it doesn't play nice with the market.

I finally found a way to erase the market search history and I thought I'd share with you all. Just download the free app "History Eraser". Install, select "google apps" then clear market search histories. All nice and clean after!

I installed the OTA update 2.2 when it was delivered to my unrooted phone. I want to go back to 2.1, but when I go to settings>SD & phone storage>Factory data reset it gives the warning that it will NOT erase: Current system software and bundled applications. Does this mean that the update 2.2 will still be on the phone, or does it goes back to 2.1?

Does anyone know how to delete Facebook from the Incredible? I tried through applications and it would not let me delete. I went to Astro files and it allowed me the option to delete but read that the deletion was not successful. Can't even delete the icon.

I have been using Google Voice since I received the DInc 6 weeks ago. All was well.yesterday, I had a Voice mail notifier appear and it was the symbol that looks like a cassette tape sort of. This ca be accessed through the basic SMS messages icon.It wants me to dial my # and listen to a message. There is no message, and I do not know how to clear the notification.Also, I do not know where this VM came from and I want to get rid of it so it does not happen again. removing the Messaging tab and reinstalling it, nothing changed.

The dropdown in the browser navigation bar shows every site that I've been to . How do I clear it? Menu>more>History>Clear History says my history is cleared but when I go back to my browser and tap the navigation field it's all still there - every site I've visited for days! Ditto if I go to Menu>More>Settings and clear the forms, history, cache, and cookies. So how do I clear the browser navigation history?

so I was jokin around with my friend at a bar and we started looking up naughty pictures with a free pron program that I found on the market. We were comparing the people in the bar to the people in the photos and we found some hilarious matches. Anyway, that was last Thursday. Now I see that the pictures that were pulled up on my phone are now easily viewable by merely trying to attach a picture to a text message or an email. Basically, if anyone looks at my phone and tries to see my pictures or something they will see these stupid pictures. The phone says these pictures are saved in the SD Card Cache. How can I clear this cache? I've unmounted the card, twice. No go. I've uninstalled the horrible program (it was free and you get what you pay for, I guess). I needs me some help! I've been perusing the interwebs looking for help and this forum seemed like the most active place right now.

I have a website that I have to log into and out of everyday. I usually do it from my phone to make it easier. I accidentally put in the wrong user name one day and now that user name is saved in there and I have to retype my actual user name to log in. Is there anyway I can clear the history somehwere so it wont save that one?

What exactly does HTC Sense Clear Data actually clear? That may be a solution to reverting back to 5 homescreen pages instead of 7 without having to do a factory reset. Just curious as to what I am going to mess up? Will i just have to personalize the homescreen again, put widgets up, reconnect to fb, twitter, myfaves, etc. It's not going remove any 3rd party apps, just make me create new widgets, etc..?

I am having some serious issues with my Incredible. My camera is now blue. It was working fine, but now it will not go clear at all. It is very very blue. Should I take it back or is there a setting in the phone I am missing. I have made sure the effects are set to "None" and I have also restarted my phone. Nothing seems to work.

searched for this post and found this post a few times, but no answer. This if for the D-Inc btw, I emailed the wrong people a few times. for example i used JSmith@aol.com, instead of JSmith@yahoo.com, now whenever i try to email JSmith, i'm getting both AOL and YAHOO emails under recent history for email addresses. Is there a way to clear that ? it's getting very very annoying and i don't see a place to clear recent email history on the droid, anyone have any idea about that? Also, this is a 2 part question, how do we clear search history from google maps? I've tried to go to the app settings, but there is no clear cache, or clear data, and i've tried to go to security, privacy, and cleared data there, but when i search on Google maps, all the recent searches come up, which is not good when people can see where i've been

I had this problem with my Eris too (problem or new addition?) with 2.1v3. When I had a missed call, if I didn't clear my call history, when I turn my phone off and then back on again later, I still get the missed call notification on my lock screen. Is that a new feature they added or something messed up? If there's a way to turn it off, can somebody please tell me?

I am running the latest version of frankenrom. My question is can I get the stock status bar while still using sense? is there a them that would allow me to do that? I really only want to change the status bar so it looks like stock Android but nothing else.
