wheres the best place to D/L roms onto your computer for Super Nintendo, NES, Sega Genesis, GameBoy Advance, etc. i already have all the full versions of emulators, i just need the roms.

I thought I saw a thread somewhere someone stared with roms that work with the SNESoid but I can't seem to find it (maybe I'm mistaking it for a different emulator though).
Can anyone point me to it, or tell me if they have been able to get Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure to work? It may be the ROM I'm trying, but I can't seem to get the game to work.
Also, I have not tried the PSX emulator, but am thinking about buying it. Can anyone with it try Pitfall 3D for me and see how that runs?
Alright so lets say i have a game on the wii that i downloaded to my SD micro Card and I downloaded the Nes Emulator on my HTC Hero. (yes ik you have to have and adapter for the wii and then the smaller memory card for the phone) But would I be able to play that game for NES (that i downloaded from the wii) on my HTC Hero?

View 24 Replies View RelatedAlright, I am currently in the process of backing up all of my owned snes and genesis games on my motorola droid. So I go to a well known rom site that advertises itself as "free" with their "roms". And I have no problem downloading the genesis games and getting them to play. But whenever I go to legally back up an snes game and click download it directs to a page with a bunch of symbols and numbers as if dolphin is trying to open it through the browser. Keep in mind, this only happens with the snes roms.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi recently bought an evo 4g ( great phone ! ) and i have been looking at the forums on how to properly get it to work. I downloaded the snesnoid lite and androzip. Then i downloaded the rom ( that i have ;p) off a couple of sites. Everytime i do download the rom, it ends up as a " .bin" file. Is this uncommon? im not sure as wheither it's the site or just a setting in my phone thats making it a bin file.

Reason for this thread is to share what ROMS you've gotten best battery life from, cuz I'm trying to venture out and try some different ones with the best life.
So I got the full version of snes emulator for my eris. Does anybody have any suggestions of any games that work well with this phone, since it doesn't have an actual keyboard? I have tried a couple and the controls are horrid. any help would be much appreciated!

View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought the SNES emulator from market on my moto Droid. I then went to romhustler and downloaded 3 games. I made a folder for them and put them on my phone. I then pull up the snes emu the hit load rom, then clicked on the folder with my 3 downloaded games in it and it says folder empty. what am I doing wrong? I went to astrofile thingy and hit the zipped files to extract but when it hit extract nothing happens. Can anyone help me out?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm soon to be getting my first android phone, htc desire on t-mobile UK (so from what ive heard it will be branded), i will be rooting it and ideally a custom rom. im happy with the rooting process (done quite a bit of modding with consoles), im just at a loss with custom roms for it at the minute, if anyone could suggest one that would suit my needs it would be awesome.
Im after a fairly similar to stock, idealy 2.2, but with some performance tweaks, im after:
-HTC sense
-a2sd
-the ability to overclock (and ideally auto underclock settings when in sleep mode)
- battery performance tweak
and also what is the difference in omoled vs slcd screens when it comes to custom roms and rooting, and also just generally in day to day use? are there any differences in quality, display etc?
and also whats the best os for rooting, roms etc? i mainly use a mac but also have xp, vista, 7 and linux. i understand theres no software currently for mac? and id rather stay away from 7 if at all possible (my copys not that stable) all help would be greatly appreciated, and i hope this is in the right forum
I ve just installed them + loaded some .nes , . smc games. None of them work. I tap them to open and application force closes or it opens the menu of the emulator.

I read a lot about this and I can't find any simple instructions.
I just got a droid about 3 weeks ago and just downloaded the Nes emu and a couple games on my phone i had to dl astro file manager i then downloaded SNes emu and tried to download a rom for it evrytime i click on the download button for the rom it brings up a screen with alot of numbers and letters in a random order and wont dl.. is there something different i need to be doing for SNes games?

I use 'Soccer Score Centre lite' at the moment but I'm not happy with it - as I can't figure out how to track games taking place (apart my 'my club') and it doesn't lock the screen so my screensaver comes on and then it doesn't refresh properly. I know fotmob is a popular app as well - could I seek people's views on that? I'm after an app that shows you all the live games (and when clicking on them you can find out the scorers, the yellow / red cards and so on) and for it to show you the upcoming fixtures as well.I'm a championship support - not EPL - so it needs to cover all leagues.
