I've got one Gmail account setup with the Gmail app; in Accounts & Sync I've got Contacts and Gmail selected to sync.however, its currently 11:46 and according to what I'm seeing here the last sync was at 11:14.I need a little better than every 30 minutes or so.anyone have any insight?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have my original gmail account "slaved" to my google apps account, so when I log in to user@gmail.com it displays my google apps user@domain.com as being logged in. For most things this is great, but now with the android phone there are some gotchya's First was the Market. I had to create yet another gmail account to buy anything off the market, because when I sign in to my 'gmail' account on my phone it signs me in as an apps user.
Second, is my google voice (attached to gmail) has its own set of contacts associated with my gmail account, and they are not synced with my google apps account. I was hoping the phone would sort of mesh them together, however I'm not seeing that. On my iPhone I was using soocial, however they recently stopped allowing unlimited contacts and their new free limit is below my number of contacts. Is there a way for the phone to keep these to contact lists "connected" and synced together?
I came to the Incredible from a Blackberry, and to sync my Google Calendar/work Outlook Calendar/Blackberry Calendar required me to export my Outlook Calendar as a .CSV, delete my Google Calendar, import the .CSV to Google, delete the Blackberry Calendar, and then run Google Sync.On the Incredible, I could not find how to delete the cached calendar until this morning. Just go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, Calendar Storage, then click Clear data. Then back out to Settings, select Accounts & sync, then click Sync all.Befor someone suggusts that I can just use the HTC Sync to cut the steps down, I cannot connect the Incredible to my work PC, and even if I could, I cannot run any "unapproved" software, and work won't approve of HTC Sync since they dont see a "business purpose" to it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have searched my HTC Incredible up and down but I can't find the option to set how often it rings to let you know that you have a missed call or text. Right now me phone only rings once. This is the most basic feature and there has to be a way to change but I can't find it for the life of me. Even my old razor let me set it to ring every 5 minutes or so for missed calls. I can hook my phone into my pc and stream internet off it but for the life of me I can't figure this out!

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn a stock Android system, it is possible to disable sync for Google Contacts, Calendar, etc. Under Sense UI on the Incredible, there is no way to uncheck "contacts" under "Accounts & Sync" that I find. I have disabled the entire Background Sync, but of course that disables the Market. Is there a way to disable Google contacts sync that anyone has found?

They change, but show up twice on my DINC: same event, same time, same place, etc., but only once via PC.I am trying to solve and here's a question: when you go to calendar > menu > more > Calendars > what choices do you have and what do you have checked? I have "'My Calendar"; "Exchange"; and "PC Sync" and I feel like I should only have one checked, but don't knwo which one. I am new to Droid and want to stay, but this is killing me.

The problem I'm encountering is that I have thousands of Google contacts from anyone who has ever sent me an email and I don't want them in my phone contacts. Same thing goes for facebook. I only want the phone to pull Facebook data for those contact already downloaded from Google.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI synced my google contacts with my phone and they are on my phone. If I go to people - view I show 466 contacts and google is checked. If I go to people I am the only one there. If I search or dial they are there but if I just look at people it does not show them. I reset contact storage but that did not help. I added a contact on my phone to the google contacts and the count went to 466 and the one I added shows up on the phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems with Google Calendar not syncing event reminders correctly. I am wondering if it is just me or is there a glitch with Google.
When I set up a 1 time event on Google Calendar online (not on the DInc) and set a reminder, it sync's the reminder correctly to the HTC Droid Calendar. But if I set up a reminder on a recurring event, the recurring event syncs to HTC Droid Calendar, but the reminder is deleted on the phone.
When I use Google Calendar Sync to sync with Outlook 2007, with some events the reminders will sync correctly and others the reminder will be deleted on Outlook. Some recurring events sync the reminder, some do not.
I did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using the latest version of Google Maps on JB 4.2.2 [Nexus 4]..I noticed that I cannot edit the names of my locations in "My Places" in the phone app. So I used Google Bookmarks (google.com/bookmarks) from my PC to edit/rename My Places. However, the names do not sync or carry through to the Google Maps app on the phone. The names in the app are still the generic names, coordinates or street names.
Is there any way to change the names of My Places and get them to sync with the phone app? Really baffling!

View 16 Replies View RelatedI am trying to create a menu that slides up from the bottom.It starts with the menu's view just visible at the bottom of the screen, and then clicking it causes it to slide up.I tried using a TranslateAnimation, but although the pixels move, the hit areas of the menu are in the same position as before.So I think that if I can adjust the menu's margins after the animation is complete, this will accomplish what I want.However, I can't figure out how to adjust the margins.I've tried to create a LinearLayout.LayoutMargins object and then set its margins and apply it to the menu's view (which is a LinearLayout), but this doesn't work.

I can't seem to figure out how to do this on the DROID.Even though it is still a bit buggy (beta and all),I love the application, but I have noticed that specific addresses can be off by a block or two.I would like to be able to tell the phone that the correct position of this address is here.
