Jan 22, 2010I put pictures on my SD Card. When I go to access them in the Album. The phone freezes up and I get an Activity Albums error. Not Responding?

I want to change the thumbnail picture displayed in the gallery app (I'd call that the 'key photo' from using apple products in the past). It seems to default to the first images in a particular album, I've tried various taps and swipes and looking in the app and album settings but can't find anything.

One question that I hope someone can help me with:Is there a way to change the size of icon's text or label (or perhaps the text itself)? For example, I have a screen with several Google apps on it, but they look like this: "Google M..." (for Google Maps); "Google S..." (for Google Sky), etc. It would be great if I could just change this to "Maps" or "Sky."

Aug 29, 2010so I transfered some songs to my phone from pc yesterday but some of them were in the wrong album and I wanted to transfer them to the right album, Im wondering how you do this ON the HERO. I dont like having to go to my comp to edit the album or name of a song. I was able to do this on my N81 and my hero is supposed to be an upgrade to that and I dont want to feel like I upgraded everything but my music support. Is there anyway to change the music details on hero(not pc)?

Nov 10, 2009The contact photos shown during calls are very blur. The photos will appear blur if:
- selected from album on phone (I made it as large as 150x150)
- synced from Outlook
- shot with phone camera
The photos only appear very clear if FaceBook photos are used (so limited only to contacts with FaceBook accounts). Is there a way to overcome this?

If not could someone make me one from a picture or explain how to reduce the pic to a sice for the Icon? Currently I downloaded the Windows 7 icon pack from the market and i'm using the default cell phone icon which looks like an old canybar Nokia.

I downloaded Handcent SMS. Which I LOVE btw. It makes messaging so much better. However, I want to either change the Icon, or the Text below it. It's smaller and stick out like a sore thumb. And shit the icon down, it's a bit too "high" in comparison to my other icons.
How can I do this?

2. I us aol mail and it is forwarded to gmail on the phone. Recently some email, addressed to my usual aol email address is sent to the phone's gmail but not to the aol email (so it is only on the phone as a gmail message and not to computer as an aol mail.

Jan 5, 2010I think I messed my phone up trying to unroot it. When I hold down the "Home" and "Power" key to bring up the system menu it doesn't come up. What does come up is an exclamation triangle with a little phone underneath. I then have to do a battery pull and start it normally. I can, however, bring up the system wipe by holding down "Home", "Back Key", and "Power". I did the wipe and tried once again to bring up the system menu with no such luck. I've downloaded the Sprint RUU 1.56.6 and installed it onto my phone. It has been since this install that I couldn't access the system menu. Has it deleted it? What do I do?! I just want my phone the way it was when I got it.

Jul 9, 2009I've just moved to a new simcard and for some reason this afternoon a new icon has appeared in the notification area.
Its a picture of a simcard with a small cog wheel in the bottom left of it.
I cant get rid of it and cant find anywhere a list of notification icons and what they mean?
I cant clear it, i can select the icon in the dropdown notification listing but it does nothing.
Anyone got an idea or a list of default notification icons and their explanations????
This is a HTC Magic with 1.5 on it.
HTC Hero : How To Remove An Album?
May 31, 2010thanks all in advance. I'm stil a newbie here being a wm 6 convert & don't know how to troll my phone as well just yet. after initial sync to move media files I now have dual albums for video and music this is 2G SD I moved from WM phone to Hero & it picked up files with no problem but they are duplicated. tried to search for 'delete' 'remove' 'erase' album & no exact answer. sorry if I'm a repeater.
