HTC Droid Eris : Installed Audio Manager Not Working
May 23, 2010I have had Audio Manager installed for a while now and every few days the settings move on me. Specifically the system volume. I like keeping it at 2, and it will default back to 7.
Not a huge deal, but it's annoying. I'm wondering what is causing it to change. Maybe an app? Anyone with audio manager experience this?
HTC Eris :: Rooted And Installed Kaosfroyo And Now Cannot Make Or Receive Calls Because Mic Is Not Working
Oct 19, 2010I rooted and installed kaosfroyo and now cannot make or receive calls because my mic is not working. Call can be made but the person on the other end does not hear me.
A few other things are that my wifi and verizon data are not working. When I plug the usb I can't mount the SD card.
On the lock screen it says Sprint in the upper right.

Feb 19, 2012I just installed Runnymede AIO 6.0.4.1 on my HTC Desire and my GPS is hardly working. I takes at least 2 minutes to find a signal (that's if it finds it). I tried several servers but none worked like before with the stock ROM.
If I put the default gps.conf (below), it works but it takes very long.

I tried this trick but then it didn't work at all. I put "europe" for REGION and "ro" for COUNTRY (I live in Romania ofc). What to put there to make it work as it should? With stock ROM it only took a few seconds to find satellites.
Samsung I7500 :: Since Installed MustyMod - GPS Stopped Working
Apr 21, 2010Since I've installed MustyMod my GPS stopped working. The problem is, to be more precise, is that my Galaxy isn't seeing any satellites at all. When using an app like GPS Test, I can see that the GPS icon is flashing, and GPS status is on and everything seems to be in working order but no satellites are in view, even after hours of leaving the device in the open under clear sky.
At first I thought it was a bug in MustyMod, but then I installed Galaxo 1.6.2 and the problem remains. Any ideas? or did I somehow managed to brick my GPS?
HTC Incredible : Installed 2.2 Camera And Internal Memory Not Working
Jul 28, 2010Installed the new leaked froyo and now my camera does not work. Both Pic and video app come up but the screen is black. Also my internal 8gb of storage says "Unavailable". I tried formatting the storage a few times and reboot each time and nothing.
I had root my Dinc the old way so I unrooted back to stock, installed the first OTA, then rooted using the Unprovoked tool then installed the 2.2 zip file. Every step went exactly as the videos showed. Can anyone help me?

Sprint HTC Hero :: Fresh ROM Installed - Alarm Not Working Properly
Aug 4, 2010I've noticed after I have rooted and installed the newest Fresh rom I have problems getting my alarm to shut off in the morning. It's not a huge problem, just an annoyance. I have not installed vanilla lock screen, I did search the forums which states if you use that you have to use vanilla clock. I literally have to shut off the alarm every morning by shutting down the phone. Sometimes I do get lucky and it shuts off (after about 1-2 minutes) and then I have to disable the alarm and re-enable it or it will snooze.

Oct 20, 2009Since a few days, we get an increasing number of reports of users that are unable to uninstall multiple of our applications. Often people give a 1 star rating in the market then, is it possible to fix this?
Our users comments are for instance: "Uninstalled it yet still appears as installed with buttons greyed out" "This has been uninstalled from my phone for about a month and the icon won't go away. I'll click it and its like I have it installed." "Its a fun app until you decide to uninstall it. It then shows as installed in the market and seemingly a fixture. Can't get rid of it."
This is for 3 different apps, and none of these apps have been forward- locked. We have told some users that emailed us already that they should try rebooting their phone because the market sometimes gets stuck, but that didn't help.

I see more available settings available then if I pick Menu>Settings. Such as Dock Settings, SIM Card Lock Settings and few others. Why aren't these items to be found anywhere under the normal settings menu?

Sep 16, 2010I've been rooted for about two weeks now. Originally, I was using the kaosfroyo rom v34, just now I changed to the nonsensikal vanilla 5.4. With both roms I'm getting the same error. It will download an app with no problem. However, as the app is installing, the notification bar will display a message that it was not successfully installed.It did it first with the kaos rom; I switched to nonsensikal thinking it would help, but no such luck. Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong?

Some searching turned up a similar issue on other HTC devices on another carrier, something about an OS foot print? Is there a way to get around this? It's pretty obnoxious.

Nov 23, 2009I have an HTC Droid Eris with Verizon. It came installed with several apps that not only do I not use, but that in some cases start automatically. These include Amazon MP3, Footprints, Google Talk, Teeter, and YouTube. I would like to uninstall them, but I am not given that option (like I am for third-party apps) when I go into "Manage applications" in Settings. Is there another way of removing them from my phone?

Feb 17, 2010So my Eris no matter what player I use will eventually start skipping. It'll also start playing a song skip to another , then another then back to the original and then call my voicemail. Gmail, Voice, Gtalk and the web still work. I have did a couple reboots, pulled the battery, cleared the cache and nothing has helped. Any suggestions short of a factory restore or the Verizon store?
