General :: Installed Runnymede AIO 6.0.4.1 On HTC Desire - GPS Hardly Working

I just installed Runnymede AIO 6.0.4.1 on my HTC Desire and my GPS is hardly working. I takes at least 2 minutes to find a signal (that's if it finds it). I tried several servers but none worked like before with the stock ROM.
If I put the default gps.conf (below), it works but it takes very long.

I tried this trick but then it didn't work at all. I put "europe" for REGION and "ro" for COUNTRY (I live in Romania ofc). What to put there to make it work as it should? With stock ROM it only took a few seconds to find satellites.

I am using samsung galaxy y duos gt-s6102.And i have installed custom rom ICS Fusion v1.3 by hell lock and its successfully installed.But sim card network is not working !! ? i am using vodafone and it shows emergency call only..! i even searched network manullay and clicked vodafone.it says this sim does not allow this network..!

I'm using HTC desire c . I moved all my user apps to the sd card using Titanium Backup , and now none of them work .When I open viber , It gives me this massage " unforunately, com.viber.voip has stopped" . And some apps say "application is not installed" . I tried to move them back to internal stoarege but nothing happend . Is there anyway to fix this , or should I factory rest the phone ?!!!

This isn't a /major/ problem but it will irritate me if I can't find a solution! How can I get rid of all the game demos that Orange have so thoughtfully installed on my Desire? I've had a look in Settings > Applications but the Uninstall option for these doesn't show up.

Since I've installed MustyMod my GPS stopped working. The problem is, to be more precise, is that my Galaxy isn't seeing any satellites at all. When using an app like GPS Test, I can see that the GPS icon is flashing, and GPS status is on and everything seems to be in working order but no satellites are in view, even after hours of leaving the device in the open under clear sky.
At first I thought it was a bug in MustyMod, but then I installed Galaxo 1.6.2 and the problem remains. Any ideas? or did I somehow managed to brick my GPS?

I have had Audio Manager installed for a while now and every few days the settings move on me. Specifically the system volume. I like keeping it at 2, and it will default back to 7.
Not a huge deal, but it's annoying. I'm wondering what is causing it to change. Maybe an app? Anyone with audio manager experience this?

Installed the new leaked froyo and now my camera does not work. Both Pic and video app come up but the screen is black. Also my internal 8gb of storage says "Unavailable". I tried formatting the storage a few times and reboot each time and nothing.
I had root my Dinc the old way so I unrooted back to stock, installed the first OTA, then rooted using the Unprovoked tool then installed the 2.2 zip file. Every step went exactly as the videos showed. Can anyone help me?

I've noticed after I have rooted and installed the newest Fresh rom I have problems getting my alarm to shut off in the morning. It's not a huge problem, just an annoyance. I have not installed vanilla lock screen, I did search the forums which states if you use that you have to use vanilla clock. I literally have to shut off the alarm every morning by shutting down the phone. Sometimes I do get lucky and it shuts off (after about 1-2 minutes) and then I have to disable the alarm and re-enable it or it will snooze.

Since a few days, we get an increasing number of reports of users that are unable to uninstall multiple of our applications. Often people give a 1 star rating in the market then, is it possible to fix this?
Our users comments are for instance: "Uninstalled it yet still appears as installed with buttons greyed out" "This has been uninstalled from my phone for about a month and the icon won't go away. I'll click it and its like I have it installed." "Its a fun app until you decide to uninstall it. It then shows as installed in the market and seemingly a fixture. Can't get rid of it."
This is for 3 different apps, and none of these apps have been forward- locked. We have told some users that emailed us already that they should try rebooting their phone because the market sometimes gets stuck, but that didn't help.

This will then help other people to know when the update is ready for them instead of keep trying Sunday evening onwards to get it

I rooted and installed kaosfroyo and now cannot make or receive calls because my mic is not working. Call can be made but the person on the other end does not hear me.
A few other things are that my wifi and verizon data are not working. When I plug the usb I can't mount the SD card.
On the lock screen it says Sprint in the upper right.

Yesterday I tried the latest ICS rom (URL.....) for Desire and when I reverted back to Gingerbread my notification LED, torch led stopped and camera working. Same thing happened two months ago and I ended up sending it back to HTC for repairs and all they did was some software changes but I'm not sure what.I tried resetting the phone with the RUU and their still not working.

I used the 'force all apps to move to SD' method on Froyo on my HTC Desire and for a good while all was working really well. I was happy with the space I was saving.Today I used a backup tool from Navigon, Fresh, to backup my Satnav purchase. During this time my Desire rebooted itself while connected to my laptop via USB.When the phone came back I found that ALL my apps currently installed to the SD card are now no longer available in my menu and when I go to manage Apps I can see them but they are greyed out with a little SD in the corner of their icons.I can't move them back to the phone and Market appears to think that they are no longer installed. However I can see them in my manage Apps area.So physically they are still on my SD card, they are still showing in the manage Apps menu (but greyed out) and they are still taking space up. I just can't start them or move them.

I was installing an apk from the web (fennec) but I ran out of memory half way and now it has taken up all but 3mb of my internal memory! I can't uninstall it normal because its not really installed!

I have a new htc desire (unlocked) with Android 2.2 Probably a stupid question, but how can I tell what Flash version is installed? Does Flash appear as an app? I can't seem to find any reference to it anywhere on the phone. Whenever I try to play a Flash movie, it tells me it isn't installed and go to the Adobe site. On the Adobe site, I can't seem to work out how to download and install Flash 10.1 on my phone!

I have a desire with slcd and I installed an old ROM for AMOLED screens. It resulted in my phones screen being unresponsive. I bought the phone from someone who rooted it and don't quite understand how to do this procedure. Also if there's anyone from Southern Ontario (golden horseshoe area) that could do it for me that would be great as well.

The last update to File Manager included an applications manager too. It enables you to backup* and uninstall applications.
On the applications list 'Maps' is in there twice, both 4.3.0 installed on 2010-07-06 and both 4102KB. Would I actually have two copies installed? I'm not that keen on the idea of uninstalling one to find out for obvious reasons! this seems to put them onto the SD card which is quite useful

Im pretty new to the android forum so please bare with me. I've got the DHD and I love it. But the only issue I have is these pre-installed apps such as; facebook, twitter and peep.
First of all why do i need twitter AND peep? I want to get rid of the latter and i've heard that I need to root my phone to do that. Can someone point me to a newbs step by step to rooting the DHD if such a thing exists please?
Secondly, the pre-installed apps don't have the option of updating! So as far as I can see I have to actually download these apps again from the market and then update them when they come.

I finally took the leap and installed a custom rom (Defrost 4.9). Before I did, I took a full android backup and a full Titanium backup.I suspect I missed something, but I can't seem to get my SMS messages back.Would anyone have any suggestions? It's not the end of the world if I have to restore the android backup to recover them, but I would rather not obviously.
