I had installed a mobile defense guardian? App the other day, forget if that was the exact name and noticed after that. That I wasn't getting picture messages to show up right away anymore, now it seems like they have to send the same picture 2 or 3 times before it will actually download and I can view it. Wondering if there is some known issue or a fix to get it back to normal and working right again. I'm looking at one now and it just says it's downloading, never leaves that, doesn't show a picture.

Kayso, I just got my new Droid 2 in the mail & I'm trying to download ringtones & whatnot, &it says there is no sd card installed when, infact, there is. So I've rebooted it a few times, & removed & replaced the sd card as well, so what more can I do?

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen i get an email (gmail) and I attempt to download the rest of the message, it gives me an error and tells me that there's not enough space and instructs me to delete messages. After deleting almost all messages, i still get the same error.
Do the messages get stored on my card or device? SHould i delete my podcasts that rest on my card?
I've got the Nonsensikal ROM installed on my phone and I have seen this with other ROMs as well. When I long press on the Home Screen>Shortcuts>Activities>Settings. I see more available settings available then if I pick Menu>Settings. Such as Dock Settings, SIM Card Lock Settings and few others. Why aren't these items to be found anywhere under the normal settings menu?

View 13 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the 2.1 zip to sd card, and cleaned all off of sd card, EXCEPT the zip file. Put the other 1.5 files on another sd card Installed 2.1, no issues at all. Runs great. Do I need to put those misc files back on, or are they included in 2.1.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been rooted for about two weeks now. Originally, I was using the kaosfroyo rom v34, just now I changed to the nonsensikal vanilla 5.4. With both roms I'm getting the same error. It will download an app with no problem. However, as the app is installing, the notification bar will display a message that it was not successfully installed.It did it first with the kaos rom; I switched to nonsensikal thinking it would help, but no such luck. Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI installed MR2 a few days ago rather than waiting on the OTA update. Now I can't download a couple paid apps from the Market that I had previously paid for. WeatherBug Elite is one of them, it doesn't even show up when I do a search in the Market.
Some searching turned up a similar issue on other HTC devices on another carrier, something about an OS foot print? Is there a way to get around this? It's pretty obnoxious.
I have had Audio Manager installed for a while now and every few days the settings move on me. Specifically the system volume. I like keeping it at 2, and it will default back to 7.
Not a huge deal, but it's annoying. I'm wondering what is causing it to change. Maybe an app? Anyone with audio manager experience this?
I have an HTC Droid Eris with Verizon. It came installed with several apps that not only do I not use, but that in some cases start automatically. These include Amazon MP3, Footprints, Google Talk, Teeter, and YouTube. I would like to uninstall them, but I am not given that option (like I am for third-party apps) when I go into "Manage applications" in Settings. Is there another way of removing them from my phone?

I rooted and installed kaosfroyo and now cannot make or receive calls because my mic is not working. Call can be made but the person on the other end does not hear me.
A few other things are that my wifi and verizon data are not working. When I plug the usb I can't mount the SD card.
On the lock screen it says Sprint in the upper right.
Is there any way I can extract the .apk for an app I downloaded and installed from the market? So I can store the .apk on my PC

Afraid I'll brick the phone, and I'm worried once i have it, i really wont know what to do (more like keeping it up to date/maintenance) I'm up for any advice to sway me one way or another. JFYI, I'm just looking for opinions. I'm not going to blame anyone for my decision Lo L. I just want the full potential to my phone, while keeping it safe. P.S. You don't have to send me links on how to do it, where to look for Roms, etc etc. I've done my research her in the threads.

View 8 Replies View Relatedtrying to DL white window 4.4 to my SD card over 3g. tried in default browser and it said unable to DL. in opera mini 5 the DL makes no progress then eventually fails. have tried multiple links. just wondering why it won't work. any ideas? I'm really just screwing around anyway so its not a huge deal. also using tainted vanilla 1.4 if that makes a difference.
