I'm kind of new to the themes thing
But I downloaded metamorph and seen on XDA that most themes are for Froyo Roms
Well I switch back b/t kaosfroyo and xtrsense a good bit, so I was wondering if there were any good themes for XTR sense? I couldn't find any but I may just be looking in the wrong place.

I've been looking around and I cant find any good metamorph themes for eris. Other phones get nice ones like flavored iced.Can anyone point me in the direction of some good themes?

I wanted to start by making simple changes, like the notification_header_bg. First I made the image in Gimp and saved it to res/drawable-xhdpi (even if my device is HDPI). Then, I added this code

And then I had the problem. It's like the image is overlapping itself, and, even if it's not transparent, it's looking brighter on one side
I've been using the Cyanogen 6.0 Rom for like 2 weeks and really like it. Besides the random reboots which I now notice after flashing stable 6.0. I really like this rom but they just uncapped 4G in Boston and would love to have it as part of my rom. I've got accustomed to not having HTC sense and don't really wanna go back(though if I have to for 4G, I will). Any good roms without sense that have 4G Enable? If not then any great stock Froyo roms that has everything working and is fast as Cyanogen?
View 7 Replies View RelatedIs there a good replacement for the HTC Sense UI lockscreen? I have found a few other good ones, but they close when I hit the Home Button. I find this annoying, and I still want to use the standard Sense UI. I'd use something like the regular Homescreen, but then I'll make myself use Live Wallpapers. I also need it to have music controls, since I frequently use music on my Eris. Sorry if that sounded demanding.

Just saw this article at Brighthand. HTC Hero Getting Android OS 2.1 in Early Spring.I would assume that may mean the Eris is also going to have to wait until Spring time as well?

1 - Last night, I put a background app on my Eris and downloaded a couple. Got the message just fine that they were saved to my SD card.
2 - This question in two parts.
A - Where the heck are they? I went to look for them in the settings area, and I can't find them in any "gallery." What am I doing wrong?
B - Once "found," how do I save them to a gallery that I can use to change the lockscreen background?
Again, I can't do this on a PC and rooting is not an option for me (one, I really don't know much about it, and two, I think you lose Sense UI which I like and don't want to get rid of).locate any files on my SD card. As a matter of fact, the only option shown in my settings for the SD card is "Unmount SD card." The Format SD Card is greyed, so it's not letting me choose it even if I wanted to. Is this a setting somewhere else?
Was just thinking about replacing my Eris, and was wondering if the Incredible would be the logical step up from the Eris. I like the Eris a lot but there ARE a couple things that I think I'm getting tired of. First is it's slow most of the time, and second, the camera is just not living up to my expectations. Anyone have opinions on this?

IE- can I install blue energy over Xtheme? Is there a way to revert back to the generic BB with no theme or do I need to restore a backup to accomplish this?

She was right in the fact that it won't get past HTC now.. I'm at a loss on what to do besides a factory restore.

It first flashes the HTC sign, then it takes about 10 seconds to load my home screen. Now this morning i installed an update for "spare parts". Im assuming this was the culprit so I un installed. I have tried Launcher Pro and I have tried every app on the market for these items and can find nothing that does the trick for me. I love the speed and features of Froyo but it does nothing for me without these type of widgets. Am I forever stuck with extra Sense, Plain Jane, and Smash and Suave Sense? Has anyone made any progress with porting 2.2 Sense from the Incredible or Evo to Eris?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSense UI keeps crashing on me! It used to happen maybe once every couple weeks but now I get it 2-3 times a day. I just got Pandahome last night and when I switch from Panda to Sense it restarts sense maybe 1 out of 10 times but the crashing problem began before then so I don't know what's causing it. I'd try a hard reset but last time I did that my phone wouldn't activate and it took Verizon 3 hours to fix.
