HTC EVO 4G :: SprintTV Picture Not As Sharp After Root

I noticed that the SprintTV channels picture are not as sharp after I Rooted my phone. When i was on stock watching World Cup over 4G, the picture is almost HD quality. Now that I've rooted, it's very pixalated. Even with WC, the action is very fast, but the picture always remain sharp.So far i've tried Root with stock settings, BakedSnack 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and now Fresh 3.2.Anyone have sharp reception on their SprintTV?

(Sharp SH930W - Japan smartphone) I can't find the way to root my phone and of course I can't install ROM (if available) for this phone too . I know that this is not a famous smartphone but it running Android 4.1.1 and have all the standard apps, the phone is quite powerful itself (dual core, 2Gb RAM, 5inch IGZO screen).
If there is noway to root it, perhaps to toggle fullscreen mode (hide status bar, bottom bar). I tried many app on CHPlay but all of them for rooted device or older Android version.

Is it me or are the super amoled screesn simply not as sharp as normal lcd screens such as the EVO or Droids?I am a stickler for a sharp screen and looking at the super amoleds seems like looking as font constructed from lego blocks.The resolution grid, if you will, is very obvious/visible and not very impressive.I noticed this first on the Droid Incredible and to a worst extent on the Samsung Galaxy S which I looked at yesterday.I am simply not very impressed at either of these screens and wonder if we will suffer the same visual fate in the event that a future superphone or even subsequent revisions of the EVO switches to the amoled screens. Sure the colors are great but if that means blocky font then I am not willing to take one step forward and two backward.To be honest I am completely satisfied with color on my EVO, just wished resolution was higher.

to obtain root on my device which is the Sharp Aquos Zeta SH-02E.
After reading lots and lots of forums in Japanese (which I barely started learning) I found a couple of commands and files to obtain root on the device. Reading it looks simple. However my expertise on the area is no more than 0.The code goes like this
adb push sh02eunlock /data/rootkit
adb push acdbwritevalue /data/rootkit
adb push su /data/rootkit[code]...
The file is available at the bottom. That's all I got. I really need to delete all this spy/statistics apps from the phone and without root it's impossible.

Well I finally put my phone on the charger with 11% battery life yet. It was off of the charger for a little more than 42 hours! I have never had this kind of battery life before. Last night I was at 67% and figured there is no reason to place it on the charger, woke to it at 54%. I used my phone as normal; email, texting, calling, market, games. I really don't know why I had such good battery life. I keep my SetCPU at 767 performance when in use and charge and sleep mode are the same at 480.

My Sharp FX (ADS1) is stuck at the "Sharp" logo when I try turning it on, now I know that are several of these post on this forum, but I still can't find any that offers a solution for me. The phone is rooted and that's it, I haven't had time to put a new ROM or anything yet (although I would love to) and I can't seem to get into any type of recovery mode, and I think I have tried all of the button combinations, the only time that I can get it to show something other than "sharp" is when I plug it in, it shows a charging battery.

I can see the pictures in my gallery, but when I view them full screen, they are not QUITE sharp. So then when I zoom in a just a little and wait a second, the picture gets totally in focus and sharp, and when I zoom out to full screen size, it is fixed and sharp, but I would like them to display as completely sharp when I first pull them up. Kind of nit-picky, but I am constantly showing people pictures on my phone, and it is kind of a pain.

I have Sharp SH837W, when I try to install CWM, I wrote it to address 0x0 and it is bricked. I know I write something over its Preloader.
I tried but can't write down preloader again.
I tried to find TestPoint, maybe I found it but I don't know what should I do with it. I connect the test point with USB -5v and connect cable but still can't write anything (I got error 5054 in SP Flash Tool).

When ever i make calls from my X10. In all the three the same problem persists. is there a way to get a contacts picture to show their facebook picture in timescape. I have linked all my contacts with their facebook accounts but it still shows the default white picture. I dont want to have to go through and take pictures of all my contacts. that would just be silly.Apologies if this has been asked before or is a simple fix. I'm new to this smart phone malarchy

How do i get peoples facebook picture to show up as their picture in my contacts. Right now my facebook picture shows up as Me, but none of the others are showing up. I even changed all my contact names to match the facebook page.

I use the backgrounds app, and it lets me save backgrounds to my SD card. I go into Astro/ sdcard/ backgrounds and then click on the picture. It gives me 2 options to open it. "ASTRO Image Viewer" and "View picture". For me to use it as a background I have to pull it up in "View picture", BUT....no matter how many times I try and pull it up that way, it shows me the first picture in my camera album. If I click "ASTRO Image Viewer", I can always see the picture I selected, but under menu, I only have the option to "share" and nothing else. Can you tell me why the selected picture won't show up in "View picture"?

I have a Motorla Milestone and I'm experiencing some problems with the photo quality.When I try to take a picture the camera focuses and seems to be sharp.I then take the picture and the first second it appears on the screen the quaility and sharpness looks OK.A second later I can see there is some extra "blur" added and the picture gets an unsharp look.I have tried different settings but they all seem to give the same result.Do I have a defective unit? Or is this a wrong software setting?I hope someone finds a solution because these pictures look even worse than 3.2MP shots from previous Nokia mobile.

I posted this question sort of embedded in the "show us your Droid X screen" but I think it got buried with all the "what is that widget?" questions.I see on some screens the picture widget picture is big. Mine is only about 1 inch by 1/2 inch.I can barely even get 1/2 a face in the picture.How do you get a bigger picture?I'm running LauncherPro, is that effecting it?Since I couldn't get a bigger picture, I decided to try and add the slide show widget. But when I try, it says Widget Conflict only one photo slideshow per home screen. I don't have any other slideshow widgets on my screen. Any ideas?

Motorola Droid - Original
1. Rooted 2.1, then
2. OTA Stock Update to 2.2, then
3. Seem to have lost root, However - I still have the Superuser Permissions Icon.
I use Barnacle for WiFi Tether - I get a "Permission Denied" error when I try to start the application. I also went into the terminal emulator and tried an "su" which also gave a permission denied response. I tried "sudo" and also got permission denied response. Others have told me this is common with this progression of events. However, How do I now ROOT 2.2 in this scenario?

I used DroidMod to root when I had 2.01. When 2.1 became available, I "un-rooted" then forced update to 2.1. Well to be honest, it is really slow and laggy. I now want to go back to DroidMod, but nothing I have tried seems to work.

phones gone and broken itself, half the screen is white and its decided to not make calls and send texts, well sometimes works, mostly doesnt. regardless i need to unroot this thing and clear any proof it was rooted before it goes back to rogers. i used z4root to root it, can i do the same to un root and then do the software repair from pc companion to reinstall the software and get back all the things that were on the phone like timescape and such?

I'm trying to gain root and having some problems...
I had my droid rooted for some time, running droid mod 1.0. All was well until recently the battery life turned to shit (followed all guides to resolve recent OTA update issues, but still shitty.) Because of this, I decided I would go back to stock, since I couldn't justify the rom's features if the battery would kick out after 16 hours. So I returned to stock no problem and received the OTA to upgrade to 2.1.
After getting the upgrade to 2.1, I wanted to at least have root access to run a few programs. I followed this guide:

to get SPRecovery back on my phone. Everything went well, it all checked out. After that I used SPRecovery to install the root update.zip. This worked fine, the root access app is in my tray and everything seems to be fine... HOWEVER when opening programs that require root access (setcpu and adfree are the ones I've tried) they say I don't have root access. I have tried reinstalling the update.zip file to no luck. USB debugging is ON. Is there a special update.zip to gain root on 2.1 (I saw no posts about that)? Is there some setting I missed this time around that I didn't the first time I rooted?
