Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Way To Get Contacts Picture To Show Facebook Picture In Timescape

is there a way to get a contacts picture to show their facebook picture in timescape. I have linked all my contacts with their facebook accounts but it still shows the default white picture. I dont want to have to go through and take pictures of all my contacts. that would just be silly.Apologies if this has been asked before or is a simple fix. I'm new to this smart phone malarchy

is it possible to have the Facebook profile picture of my friends be the picture displayed on my contacts? or do I absolutely need to upload a picture for every contact individually?

I tried searching this forum for this answer but could not find one. Please excuse me if this has been asked and answered before. Please provide link to answer if it has.
I am wondering if there is a way to post a picture I took with my X10 to my facebook account. Someone had told me, all I needed to do was long touch it and a set of options would appear to let me do that. But I am not getting the list of options. Am I doing something wrong? I am browsing my pictures via mediascape.

How can I have my x10 mini pro display my contacts' chosen picture (as saved in the phonebook) and not the contact's picture from facebook? I don't necessarily want to separate the contact from their facebook profile.

How do i get peoples facebook picture to show up as their picture in my contacts. Right now my facebook picture shows up as Me, but none of the others are showing up. I even changed all my contact names to match the facebook page.

I was wondering if the X10 can do the same as my last android Hero, which basically link the facebook info contact to my related phone contact, including the picture. I guess this wont need any hardware, but software. Has this improvement being asked or is it planned for future updates?

I have hundreds of friends on facebook so when I got this phone, i was expecting tonnes of updates on Timescape. All I'm getting are small notification such as someone uploading one picture to their profile. I don't see any status updates at all.

I have a peculiar problem with updates for Facebook in Timescape.If I enter Facebook directly all updates are shown fine. However, there have been no updates to facebook posts in Timescape for 2 days - setting is set to update per hour. If I click through one of the old posts in timescape it shows me a Facebook login screen - but whenever I type in my Facebook login it flicks back the emailaddress/phone number to show my phone number rather than my username!?

I've just got an X10 and although I'm sure it worked originally if I now click on a Facebook tile in Timescape it no longer loads facebook - the browser window appears but I just get no title in the progress bar thing and it goes a little bit across and then stays there forever.

I have had the phone a few days now and I cannot connect to facebook thru Timescape.The Facebook application on the phone though works fine, just have issues when trying to connect do it via Timescape. If i click on a FB notification and i want to open it, it prompts me to the login screen. I confirm login with the correct details and then it just hangs there on the login. You can see the toolbar up the top go to the correct address and the progress bar goes in green and fills up but it doesnt proceed to the next page, it just hangs on the login screen.
I have checked my APN settings and I have 2 of them set up by default on the phone. I am with Vodafone in Aus and I checked their APN settings on a android site and there is only one for Internet and MMS. Should I delete one of them?

Is anyone else having an issue with facebook within timescape? When it tries to sync for updates with facebook an error pops up in the notification bar and says "could not update from facebook server unavailable"
The interesting thing is it actually does still update the timescape and can still post updates to FB Tried a factory reset of my phone and the issue is still there

Is there any way to get timescape to open the facebook app instead of the web browser when a facebook "leaf" is touched. I have it set that Twidroid will open for twitter "leaves" but I can't figure out how to get it to use the Facebook app.

My Timescape worked fine, but 13 days ago doesn't sync with the Facebook. I get a message: "Could not connect to the internet!" I tried with 3G and WIFI connection too. Everything works fine (for example the Twitter in Timescape or browser so the internet connection is available), only the Facebook refresh doesn't work. I tryed clear the timescape settings, and reconfig the timescape, tryed remove the Facebook account and re set, but the problem is the same. 4 days ago, I updated the phone software for the newest (R2BA026 1.1.31). I made a factory reset and made a repair with the PC Companion. I tryed remove the sony ericsson app, from my Facebook account. Still I have the problem, I can't fix it I didn't change anything, when the problem starts.

After updating my phone to version 1.1.A.0.13, i came up with 2 issues:
1) The facebook refresh button, along with the facebook option were gone from timescape app!. I mean that in options, only twitter would appear for account adding!. Yet my older facebook feeds still appear, but as i said no refresh button is available now, so that i could get new ones!
2) Almost none call metering app works anymore! I used to use Call meter NG, but after updating it says that some error happened and it turns up with questionmarks instead of numbers were the call & sms counters were. And no other relative apps seems to work also.

Timescape used to work fine but now everytime I try to update facebook it with "Could not update from Facebook - could not connect to the internet." I've seen discussed on other forums about the notification displaying even thouh the update was successful - in ny case it actually does fail. My phone's internet settings are unlikely to be the problem as i have had no difficulty watching HD streaming video connecting through Optus Australia 3G.
I've tried signing out of the facebook ap and also signing out from facebook in the browser just in case facbook was denying the connection - this did not fix it. I've tried deleting the timescape facebook service account and adding it again - didn't fix. I have also gone into Manage Applicatons and hit 'Clear data' for timescape - also didn't fix.

When taking photo's this weekend that involved zooming in i found that the picture taken was never in focus. I have enabled the image stabilizer function but still whenever i zoom at all it is blurred (not sharp). When taking a picture that didn't involve zooming the image is sharp as you would expect from the camera. Is anyone having this trouble or is it just a dodge phone/camera i have and should go back to my supplier and exchange it?

Please can someone help me, I have just bought the X10 phone, it was original on voda phone network but has been unlocked so I can put my virgin Sim card in, when I try to send a picture message I get a message saying 'unable to send, message will be sent when service becomes available'. Having some issues around the picture messaging: Android 2.1 Nordic x10i, just sayings "message cannot download" - I can send but I cannot receive. Rogers Wireless. Any ideas? I flashed my x10a to an x10i and manually entered in all the settings for Rogers:

Every time I set a picture to a contact, or change my home screen background I have to crop it. This wouldn't be so much an issue if the crop wasn't so destructive to the picture! Why can't I just use the whole picture? Why does the crop force me to cut out most of it?
