HTC EVO 4G : How Can I Use Different Scenes?
Jul 2, 2010Hey guys. I'm wondering because i haven't been able to figure out how, but i want to use different scenes on my evo. I'm getting bored with my current desktop + Icon theme im using but i want to save it and make another. I possibly want to make 3-4 that i can switch every week or 2 so things don't get old.

Oct 20, 2010ok, flashed with myns rom, titanium backed up everything and only restored user apps. Anyone know which system file to restore that had my scenes saved? I didn't want to restore all of them, don't know if that would matter or not. But i would like the scenes file restored.

May 6, 2010I calmly set up each of the screens on my DInc and save to Custom X. If I change Scenes, I cannot recover my previously saved screens. Ok, I can live with that. What I cannot live with is that when I save my setup to Custom x, I cannot recover my previous screen settings apps, etc.

Sep 28, 2010I thought some of you might find this useful.Making A Backup of Your Sense Scenes with Titanium Backup.Taken from Titanium CAN Restore Layouts - Sense "Scenes" - xda-developers and an entry by joel.bourquard:You can backup the Sense "Scenes" by filtering for System items (MENU -> Filters) and then selecting the item named "[DESKTOP] HTC Sense 1.00".Note that after restoring such system items, a reboot is needed for the changes to take effect.In Titanium Backup, about 99% of the phone's useful data is included in the list of items. You just need to pick the right ones.Usually you use Batch mode to backup all the *user* apps, and then you backup most green *system* items one by one.
For restoring you don't need to do it one by one: just open MENU->Batch, scroll a bit and use "Restore missing apps + all system data". That should pretty much do it in 1 click - or a few more clicks if you don't have the Donate version.

Sep 13, 2009Having downloaded so many apps, I tried to organise them by creating several folders onto one of the home screen and dragging installed apps into the appropriate folders (e.g. games into a games folder, social apps into a social folder, etc.). If I switch scenes (saving the current scene before doing so), and then switch back again the folders are where I left them, but the app shortcuts inside them have disappeared.
This only happens when I change scenes within TouchFLO. I don't get this problem if I change from TouchFLO to say aHome and then back again. Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or able to recreate the problem. I'm not sure if the problem is specific to my phone, or it is indeed a problem with TouchFLO.
HTC Droid Eris :: Defaulting To Clean Slate Scenes
Feb 18, 2010I am trying to access a saved scene that i created. whenever i go through the processes of finding it, menu-->settings-->personalize-->scenes, and select my saved scene when i press home it takes me back to the default clean slate scene. if i then navigate back to the scene selection it shows that i hadn't changed my scene at all and clean slate is still selected.
I am unable to created a new custom scene, each time i navigate back to the scene selection it always shows that i have selected clean slate. in the past i have been able to scroll from scene to scene, from custom to the android defaults, without any issues.
