I calmly set up each of the screens on my DInc and save to Custom X. If I change Scenes, I cannot recover my previously saved screens. Ok, I can live with that. What I cannot live with is that when I save my setup to Custom x, I cannot recover my previous screen settings apps, etc.

Having downloaded so many apps, I tried to organise them by creating several folders onto one of the home screen and dragging installed apps into the appropriate folders (e.g. games into a games folder, social apps into a social folder, etc.). If I switch scenes (saving the current scene before doing so), and then switch back again the folders are where I left them, but the app shortcuts inside them have disappeared.
This only happens when I change scenes within TouchFLO. I don't get this problem if I change from TouchFLO to say aHome and then back again. Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or able to recreate the problem. I'm not sure if the problem is specific to my phone, or it is indeed a problem with TouchFLO.
Just wondering for those of you who have already recieved their Incredibles and those that have come from other devices with HTC Sense, how many scenes do you usually set up?

For example, the Favorites widget appears on the 2nd screen of the "HTC" scene. I've gone through all the widgets and programs and cannot find this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI thought some of you might find this useful.Making A Backup of Your Sense Scenes with Titanium Backup.Taken from Titanium CAN Restore Layouts - Sense "Scenes" - xda-developers and an entry by joel.bourquard:You can backup the Sense "Scenes" by filtering for System items (MENU -> Filters) and then selecting the item named "[DESKTOP] HTC Sense 1.00".Note that after restoring such system items, a reboot is needed for the changes to take effect.In Titanium Backup, about 99% of the phone's useful data is included in the list of items. You just need to pick the right ones.Usually you use Batch mode to backup all the *user* apps, and then you backup most green *system* items one by one.
For restoring you don't need to do it one by one: just open MENU->Batch, scroll a bit and use "Restore missing apps + all system data". That should pretty much do it in 1 click - or a few more clicks if you don't have the Donate version.
1) How do you delete saved "scenes" that you no longer want?
2) How do you create, edit, delete, rename a photo album?
Can you set the scenes to automatically switch depending on time of day on the phone? I'd definitely use them if at 8am Mon-Fri the scene switched to Work. At 6pm Mon-Thur it would be nice for it to switch to the default home screen. 6pm Fri I'd like it to switch to the Play scene. Is this a capability or do you have to change them manually via menu system?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had to delete all of my HTC SenseUI home screen customizations (wallpaper and icons) today. I accidentally caused the problem myself, though I think Sense could have been more clever about stopping me. What happened was that I saw a new notification "Ringtone App downloaded." I had not downloaded it, and my son had just been playing with the phone, so I figured he must have done it. I deleted the application, and the phone warned me that it would "reset my icon on the home screen" or something like that. I blithely said OK and deleted the thing. Then, when I went back to the home screen I got the message "The Application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly." The only option available was "Force Close," and soon as that was pressed the message would appear again.
I was able to get out of it by following the instructions at this HTC Desire page . Now my phone is fine again, but I need to repopulate my 7 home screens.
Two questions:
(1) Why did the Notifications bar tell me this app had been downloaded? My son later said he had not done so. Could it have been an automatic update by HTC?
(2) Am I now missing some sort of Android or HTC ringtone app? I don't normally use ringtones other than the built-in ones but it would be nice to know whether I deleted a standard-issue app and how to get it back if desired.

I've seen this posted before however I'd really like to revisit it. In dealing with a small res device I would like to hide the status bar, my current solution has been to make it transparent and 'make a mess' of the framework and xml so that certain icons are no longer shown, for example the battery icon only shows a png when it's low, the ticker font is transparent etc. I'd much rather do this the proper way, via the source in android 2.1 So who has ideas for; Making the status bar hide when the launcher is open? not having the notification ticker at all? Disabling the status bar completely?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am in the process of getting the Milestone after many years on the WinMo 6.1 platform (HTC TyTN II), and am very excited at the prospect, but even though I have modded that phone a LOT, I am unfamiliar with the Android OS and Milestone, and was hoping someone could answer a few quick questions, as I'm getting conflicting info reading the posts here...
1. I wanted to get the unbranded / factory unlocked version of Milestone, but looking around I find all those versions are 3G 900/2100 bands, which would not work on NAM 3G 850/1900 networks. Is there a NAM version that can be purchased directly from Motorola?
2. The Telus version seems to be using a custom Telus bootloader. Does that mean this phone has any kind of custom Telus software, startup/shutdown logos showing Telus? I cannot stand customized carrier crap on smart phones and want nothing to do with them
3. I also read a post that says it's now possible to root the Telus Milestone. If I did, does that mean I can put another SBF that has stock Motorola software, and erase everything from Telus?
If I can wipe out all the Telus crap and turn one of theirs into a "clean" Milestone, that would be awesome!
Does flashing the ROM, removes the CWM ? Is CWM and ROM are inter related ? I'm using Xperia P and I installed CWM after alots of googling. Now planning to install MIUI in my Xperia P.

This issue has always existed for me with multiple nexus devices on different versions of android but I was always to eliminate this issue by unchecking media playback in the bluetooth settings confining its use to only phone connectivity. This setting has often reset when I receive an update so I headed back into the bluetooth settings to turn off media playback only to find that it no longer exists.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have this weird issue with my newly rooted Droid, whenever I turn on USB Storage, five apps that I have (ShootMe, Factbook, Dictionary.com, TTS for google translate and Battery Gauge Widget) remove themselves from my phone.
I did some searching around my phone and realized that all five of these apps are in a folder called ".android_secure". What can I do about this annoying problem? Can I move them into another folder where all my other apps are or something? Anyone else have a similar problem?
