HTC EVO 4G :: Want To Hear All Sounds Through Bluetooth?
Jun 14, 2010Is it possible to get all of the EVO 4Gs sounds to come through the bluetooth headset? When I am driving I would like to be able to hear turn by turn directions through a headset as well as any system notifications I have. At work I would like to hear any system notifications without those around me having to hear them.

Jun 11, 2010I haven't been able to hear notifications lately, the volume is up but nothing. My ringer for my phone works and I made sure the notification, ringer and media volumes are all set to high. The speaker is working because when I hit the volume rocker it makes a beep. I feel silly asking for this but it just stopped ringing and I don't know how to get it back.

Jul 25, 2010Is there a setting or an app to better control what sound goes to my Bluetooth headset? I've got a Jabra Extreme, but I've not been able to find a method to have just voice go out.
Frequently I'll be in the car, and even when I have the Incredible plugged into my car stereo, it still puts music out through my Bluetooth connection and not the headphone jack. Under Bluetooth settings it says "Jabra Extreme Connected to phone and media audio", but there doesnt seem to be a way to say no no bad droid, phone only.
This seems to be the exact opposite problem all the posts I found searching had

Jun 17, 2010I have searched for this but can't seem to find an answer anywhere on the forums. I have a custom ringtone as my notification sound, and it is about 10 seconds long. However, when I receive a notification while I'm doing something else, or heck even if I receive it while just looking at my phone, I want to be able to hit a button and make the noise stop! I realize I have an email, text, whatever, so now I want the .mp3/sound to stop and not continue to play the duration of the clip!

May 3, 2010is there a way to turn off all of the notification sounds for email, calendar, and texts? There does not seem to be a global setting for things, and there's not individual settings for this, for example, with the calender, you can't turn off the sounds without turning off the on-screen pop-up reminder. Any apps for this I wonder.

May 6, 2010At work I have my phone in my pocket, on vibrate, quite a bit and a lot of times I don't feel the initial vibration. So I end up missing the message until I physically take the phone out and look to see if I have any messages. My Dare that I just upgraded from sent out a vibration every couple of minutes until I checked the phone and dismissed the notifications. Would love to find out if this is possible with the DI.

May 13, 2010Just got my Incredible and love it. I charged it up last night for the second time. Turned it on this morning and all looked good. Received a call this morning and I could hear the caller but they could not hear me. Several more incoming calls and the same issue. Then I made some calls...I could hear the person but they could not hear me. Finally turned phone off and back on and it is now fine. Mute was not on.....anyone know what this could be?

Nov 24, 2009I installed Fring on my Galaxy and it did some strange tricks , now my phone is in a state in wich it is completely muted ( no sounds, cannot call and cannot hear) and have to use a headset to use it.
I'm sure it is Fring, because as soon I make a fring call test it works again and I can make and receive calls without headset ( no alerts nor loudspeaker though)
I will have to reset it to factory settings, but I have a series of doubts:
- Contacts: I have contacts from my sim card, some I added and some that come from Facebook/Gmail, now, I checked on the contacts and everything is there, which, I suppose, means that first time I rtestart a sync they'll be back, right?
- Internal data: Photos and MP3 are safe in the SD card, what else do I have to backup?
- Market apps: The market profile will allow me to redownload the apps that I had on the phone or is the profile locally stored? if so, were so that I can Backup it?
- A special issue: here in Belgium we do not have the paying market yet so we can only download the free apps. When i was in Italy I used an italian SIM card and bought a couple of apps.
I suppose there is no way i an get them back is there?
