Everytime I have to reboot, or if my battery dies, and I charge it and all that, and I press the power button, the screen just freezes at the HTC EVO 4G screen. I have to take out the cover, and pull the battery and by the time I do this 2-3 times, it finally boots correctly. I'm using Fresh 3.3.0.1 alongside netarchy 4.1.9.1 cfs.

I have a Garmin-Asus A10 that i wanted to change its font using Type Fresh app. When the font changed the app required a reboot,, but when the phone rebooted it became unable to boot after the garmin-asus logo anymore !!
I tried a hard reset using the volume keys pressed with the power button but it displays "**WIPE USERDATA**" on the top left corner and nothing happened.There is an option to hold the volume up key with the power button that displays " USB POLLING MODE " in a blue screen.
My phone now is not able to boot properly and freezes on the startup logo.
Is there anyway to delete this and just have the samsung logo on startup? i already deleted all the preinstalled ATT crap that comes with the phone with titanium backup (i just deleted them did not even backup will never use them anyway. after i did that phone seems to be better for me. also i did delete that annoying swish sound at startup but it also took away the samsung startup sound and i like that one. why is it that everyphone for att has there logo or some other att crap on it but the damn iPhone is the only phone clean without any att crap on it -_- i switched over from iPhone 4 could not be more happy. also is there a way to remove the att logo on the top of the phone im talking about the logo next to the speaker.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI rooted a friends phone and when I try to get to the recovery reboot screen it freezes on the HTC screen, I have to remove the battery and boot normally, and it works just fine. I have rooted two other hero's with no problems. I've tried a wipe and doing the process over again and the same thing happened.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'll be on my phone browsing through the net, on my apps etc. Then once I get back to my home screen all of a sudden my screen freezes and the "HTC screen" pops up (same screen when you reboot your phone) and then I will have to wait a minute or two for everything to load up again. I've had my hero since January and this problem recently just began last week. It happens quite often and it's really irritating. I always clear my cache/data/history. Could it perhaps be some of the applications I downloaded from the market causing this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a two month old trio stealth pro tablet, and I have been having issues with it. For some reason it freezes on start-up after the android logo. I have tried combinations of keys to try to get into a recovery mode, but have been unable to do so. I could try to get this tablet back on its feet. I have looked at getting a different ROM, however I do not know enough to feel comfortable taking the risk and possibly bricking my tablet. I wonder if I can use live suite if the android system itself is not fully loading. Every once in a while ( once every few days) I am able to get past the screen and am able to do stuff on the tablet, but then I get constant errors, for example Google maps has stopped responding, contacts has stopped responding, and other random programs.

I've tried battery pull, I've tried clearing cache. Bear in mind I DON'T want my data to be deleted, it's not backed up, however is there a way to do backup with the phone switched off or on to download mode.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a launch day EVO, Hardware revision 002, very minimal light leakage, no screen separation, and silver trim battery (if any of that matters). For the past couple of days, I have been experiencing what seems to be a complete lockup of the phone. After around 5 hrs of the phone being on, things start going haywire. At first it would lock up my live background. I switched to a static one to try and narrow it down. Then it was the screen doubling itself (weather widget would repeat on the bottom). A few minutes ago the dialog box that says "Turn Wifi On" stood on and didnt go away. I went into running services and it locked up until it rebooted itself. Ive never rooted my phone, not running a task killer and I only have market apps installed. What the hell is going on? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking its time to factory reset (again).

View 11 Replies View RelatedI purchased this Zync Dual 7 Plus(Haipad HD 7 Zync Edition) (Zync Z930 Plus in the Manual) and became fascinated by the world of Android OS. My problem is I downloaded Chainfire 3D app from Playstore as recommended by my friends. After installing, it require a reboot so I restarted the tablet and then I'm stuck on the boot screen logo. I manage to get to the recovery page using ADB reboot recovery command but my tablet only has a power button. There's no physical volume buttons everywhere I looked so there's no way I can reach the "wipe data/factory reset" option. ADB Devices command can detect the devices but it is giving me weird serial number as 0123456789ABCDEF, Fastboot is not detecting the device. USB Keyboard and touch functions are not responding when I'm in Recovery page.
What I have done so far...
I've read several solutions and one of them is to flash the tablet using the ROM provided by Zync support. DL it and open the RockChip Batch Tool but the tool is not detecting my device so I can't upgrade.
Also DL the LiveSuitPack 1.07 but also, It is not detecting the device and from the instruction given, you need to hold volume button again which I don't have.
possible to prevent processes from starting on reboot/boot for Droid 2.1?
there's a few processes that are always running, that turn themselves on, which i infrequently use. a couple examples are Voice Search and Skype, which when I ended processes for, freed up a significant amount of memory and 4 processes. I'd like to be able to set them up something akin to what windows will do, where they are on manual startup, and only start when app is called on. I still want to use the apps, just don't want background processes running constantly.
I am using HTC Explorer A310e. I rooted my cellphone yesterday. After rooting my cellphone, I had WhatsApp install and uninstalled couple of times, which led to some corruption as well. Thought of clearing the space by "Factory Reset" option with an intention of retrieving the built in apps.But after I did this, runs a process of resetting and when it restart it stuck at the main screen where HTC comes out on the display. My cell phone is not running beyond this screen. Cellphone screen is still on and displaying the "htc" only.

The first time it happened I called verizon and they fixed it over the phone, but only lasted a few days. I took it to the store and the verizon "tech" guy put advanced task killer on it which didn't help, but now my battery doesn't as before.

Until I activate the Advanced Task Killer and shut them all down, the thing runs like a hog. I have quite a few programs installed, but I dont use them all all of the time. Why do they all start up and is there any way beside the ATK to stop them? Is there any way to modify the startup files?

Seems that maybe 1 out of every 3 or so phone calls I get, especially if the phone's been relaxing in my pocket for >1hr with no use, when I receive a call, the phone freezes.
The receive call screen appears, but I can't swipe down to receive. Can't swipe up to ignore, and hitting the power button on top simply ignores the call.
Anybody else ever see this? It's been fairly constant since I got my phone a couple months ago.
Quick edit question - is there a screen I can find on the phone that shows all my recent downloads? I have ASTRO and can find stuff on the SD card alright, but tracking down files I've downloaded from my email/dropbox, etc is always tough for me.
When I plug the HDMI cable into the phone the screen goes white the HTC logo and just freezes up. Will not unfreeze until I remove the battery and reboot the phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had an issue flashing the newest version of the leedroid ROM. To start my phone was running stock un-rooted Android 2.1. This is what I've done
1) Rooted the device using the Unrevoked method. Everything with this went fine. I get the Superuser app and I can get the '#' prompt at a terminal.
2) Then I partitioned my SD card using Rom Manager in preparation for A2SD+
3) Then I booted into clockwork mod recovery and wiped data/factory reset, wiped cache, and wiped dalvik cache
4) Then I tried to flash the leedroid rom from zip on the sd card
After reboot my phone appears to be stuck on the HTC screen and will not move forward. But if I take out the battery I can boot back into recovery mode. So it appears my phone is not broken, but it clearly isn't working. I've tried flashing a number of different ROMs but get the same result each time.
I am trying to change the screen size of the emulator and see on the site that they tell you what commands to use, but it doesnt' tell you HOW to do it. how I would change the screen size. I believe this occurs on startup. I have eclipse as well, but would rather just shell into it and change it whenever I want.

I'm new to smartphones in general and wanted to root my Evo so that I could get rid of that annoying bloatware and maybe find some cool functionality.I'm new to forums too, but I did dig through a ton before I posted this and didn't see a solution to my problem.I used unrevoked 3 to root the phone. Worked fine. Tried to install Fresh through Rom Manager, but couldn't get it to flash by installing from sd card. Sort of abandoned that and moved on to Bugless Beast. I downloaded that to my computer transferred to my phone and tried "install from sd card" again. No luck, it just gave me the startup screen "htc evo 4g" and stayed on.I used nandroid to restore to my previous settings with no problem. I decided to partition the hardrive and try to flash bugless beast again. This would have been fine, but I didn't realize that partitioning removed the clockwise back up file.So, now I don't have anything to restore back to and it is stuck on the "htc evo 4g" screen.I can still get into the hboot, so its not a total loss yet.
